On Dec 27, 2024, I purchased 2 tickets for the FIFA Club World Cup (Palmeiras vs FC Porto – June 15, 2025 – MetLife Stadium) on Ticketmaster.com. During checkout, the website offered Allianz cancellation insurance for $25 per ticket. I selected it, and the cart value was updated.

I am a Brazilian citizen. The website had my billing address and profile. Yet, no eligibility disclaimer was shown. No policy was issued, and Allianz confirmed that foreign customers cannot be covered.

I requested a refund, and Ticketmaster denied it, claiming a no-refund policy from FIFA — which does not apply here. I completed the purchase in good faith under false pretenses.

This is deceptive commercial practice. I’ve already filed complaints with the FTC, CFPB, and New Jersey Consumer Affairs. I demand a full refund of $1,146.35.
