Since the pandemic the establishment has gone downhill. Menu changes and food quality are my major issues, but price has also become a concern. They no longer serve two of my favorites — roast beef and chicken livers. They used to serve the best green beans, but something has changed in the preparation. Their mashed potatoes are very inconsistent and the same can be said of their hash brown casserole. Servers appear less enthusiastic probably due to being overworked. Still enjoy their breakfast but it has gotten too expensive for my budget. I am a bacon, egg and toast guy and there are too many good and less expensive options than Cracker Barrel. They don't need to reinvent the wheel but just return to the practices that made them successful. Otherwise, they can expect much less foot traffic and reduced corporate profits.
