TGI Fridays - service and quality of the restaurant.

I visited TGI Friday's, Royal Exhange, Manchester, Cross Street, M2 7DH with three friends, whilst visiting Manchester on Wednesday 29th May. We arrived at the restaurant which was very empty. There was a large amount of tables available, however, the staff said that they had all been booked. If we wanted to wait then the wait time was one hour and a half. We decided to wait and have a drink and appetisers at the bar as this is what we were told we could do. The restaurant were clearly extremely short staffed, we waited for 35minutes at the bar before being served. One person at the bar told us that we could order our appetisers and then another member of staff said that we couldn't as they were too busy in the kitchen. We waited for 1hour and 15minutes before being called to a table. During this time none of the empty tables filled with bookings. This led us to believe that the reason that they were empty was because the restaurant were extremely short staffed which is unacceptable. When we got to our table we were served quickly and efficiently. I then went to the toilet which was a very unpleasant experience as they were in unacceptable conditions for a restaurant. I have taken photographs of the toilets. Our food then arrived, the starters were lovely, however, two of the mains were not very nice. One person had salmon which was extremely over cooked to the point that it could not be eaten. I had pasta with shrimp, however, there was only 3 little pieces of shrimp in the big bowl of pasta. We ended up being in the restaurant for about 2 and a half hours in total. During this time none of the empty tables that were supposedly booked got filled. This was really disappointing experience for us as all 4 of us love TGI Friday's and will often choose it as a restaurant to eat at.

TGI Fridays - service, not using coupon, flat out refusal to adjust bill for coupon

The waitress was not very frienddly and had an attitude. The manager on duty was not friendly either. We had an email to use a coupon 34835838664. My boyfriend who is also military had his id. We were suppose to get a free entree. Before we could even look at the bill the waitress took it back to apply the military discount. We understand that only one could be applied but she should have told us that before she applied the military discount. We told her we would rather use the coupon. She refused to adjust it. The manager came and she refused to adjust it as well saying she could not adjust the bill after she applied the discount. she was not even apologetic. We told her our chips were stale for the spinach dip, my burger was burnt and well done instead of cooked medium-well and we had to wait over 20 minutes for the check. Both of them off handling said we could use the coupon later. The coupon expires tomorrow. I am sorry but this was a date night for my boyfriend and I. We don't have extra $40 for a dinner date and money for a babysitter to just come back tomorrow to use a coupon they should have honored today. Best part of the whole thing was that this is memorial day weekend were you are suppose to honor your service men. Neither one of them even thanked my boyfriend for his service to this country. This was a horrible experience. We haven't been in quite a while and we will not be back based on this encounter.

TGI Fridays - service and food

When I got there I ask for a booth and 3 booths she took were dirty(food under the table/seat. Finally sit and it took 45 mins just for our 2 appetizer to come out and then it was wrong food.The second correct appetizer came out with our main dishes which literally took another 40 mins.No one did our refills no one gave us napkins or plates for app

TGI Fridays - product

We have been to your meadowhall restaurant at sheffield today to celebrate my husbands birthday. We have been several times before and I ordered the grilled salmon as I have many times, my husband ordered the ribeye steak which he said was lovely. I was so disappointed with the size of the salmon. The size was ridiculous for the amount you charge, it was the size of a piece of salmon you can buy in a supermarket for around 2.50 per piece not what I expected from tgi's. I have had the salmon a few times before and it has never been so small. To charge 16.95 for the size of a child's portion is not acceptable. I think this should be looked into as I will definitely not be ordering this again. I look forward to your response. Please reply to [email protected]

Took my daughter to eat dinner before a show and couldn't take her to the bathroom. All three stalls in the ladies room were over following. I reported it to two servers and, the hostess before the manager could be bothered to check it out. I heard him say "you are the thrid person to complain about it, how bad can it be". As a manger I think he should have checked it out after the first person complained about it.

TGI Fridays - food and service

3.17.19 Approx 6:45 pm my husband and I went in to Fridays. We ordered the ribs that came with coleslaw and fries. We also ordered the boneless wings as appetizers that came with celery and ranch dressing. The celery was brown so it was returned. While waiting about 7 min for the new ones I asked the server Daniella nick name Danny if they had garlic bread. She said no bread sticks. I asked if they were served with a garlic butter and the server with an attitude said "Like I said no."seriously no cool to talk to customers that way. When the ribs came the coleslaw was slimy. I asked for the manager Fatima and she never apologized about the food or offered any compensation Fatima continued to tell me about up charges for items to replace the celery that she stated had been made that morning. I am very disappointed in my experience tonight. I feel as if my needs weren't met and we paid for food that was horrible.

TGI Fridays - customer service/food

This is the 5th time I have tried to go to friday's and still wasn't satisfied. First off the customer service was poor then I get to my table order my food ask for a well done steak they brought it out and it was still all pink so I returned that also the shrimp weren't well done either they was mushy they bring my steak back out and it's burnt now st this point and it's littlier than when it first came out to top it off the loaded fried a 3 little broken up pieces of bacon and cheese on half. At this point I have gotten upset because this the second location I had went to and haven't been satisfied. I then ask for a manager he walks past our table twice looked st us and kept going. So this point i'm furious I ask the waiter to just let us pay then he comes over doesn't speak or anything he just say yeah so i'm like well hey how are you today then he speaks you suppose to speak when you first arrive to someone's table and your a manger. But he brings us a receipt with the full total so i'm like I didn't eat my food so you still charging me he snatches the receipt and smacks his teeth then tell us we only can use one gift card that we previously recieved from another store. Like how can you charge someone full price when the while meal wasn't touched. At this point I don't want anything you guys can offer but a full refund for my food no gift cards anything because this is getting out of hand I no longer want to be a customer of friday's.

TGI Fridays - service

I searched on google for TGI Fridays, the first one I found at 14150 E Alameda Pkwy, Aurora, CO 80012 said it was open until 1am, so I drive there, which took 15 min and I get there at 1145 pm. Upon arrival, the bartender says the kitchen was closed at 1130 pm and they were just serving drinks because he said "it was slow. Unacceptable.
Still craving TGI Friday's, I decided to google another location, 8104 E 49th Ave, Denver, CO 80238, this one said it was open untill 2 am. So I drove another 13 min to this location only to be met with locked doors, at 1205 am.
Again this is unacceptable, if these locations plan to shut down early because "they're slow" then they should change their closing times on google.
