Takealot stationery

Please correct your site and delivery estimates.
I go through the pain of ordering for 90 kids - Christmas part 25 Nov.
The worst I choose is 5-7 working days.
Go to pay, and it says 21 November. Perfect! Pay the money and get a shipping notification of 28 November... how does it change in 60 seconds.
Call customer care. Sit with her, and painstakingly take off the items not in stock. Then ask for a new delivery update on items all IN STOCK on website. Guess what - still 28 November.

Takealot negligent service and pathetic support

I have purchased numerous items from takealot

My first ever exchange and this is what response i get:

I sent an electrical under warranty kettle that had its lid melt in to be repaired, Takealot sent their courier service to fetch the kettle

I received an email stating that it is with them and will be assessed
Today i receive a response that they broke the kettle entirely and i will be receiving the shattered kettle in return

What the heck will i do with a shattered kettle?
Whoever broke t should be liable?
Takealot chose that negligent incompetent comapny to be their courier not me
I have escalated this matter as best as i can, i have complained on hello peter, the national consumer commission and ineveitably i will take it up with an attorney with cost against takealot

I will never ever shop on takelaot ever again

thats all my orders to date

Takealot delivery

Received an email on 7/11/2017 that my order is ready for collection at Cape Town, Montague.
Made my way today 9/11/2017 for collection. I spent 45mins in the waiting area only to hear that my order isn't ready and will get another confirmation once it's ready.
I'm very disappointed with the lack of service I've received, not sure if I'll order with you again after the appalling service I've received.
Could it not be picked up on your system that the order isn't ready, than to make me wait 45 minutes?

Takealot promised delivery date / service

Good morning

I ordered a backlight keyboard (Order no. [protected]) on 2 November 2017. The promised delivery date was 7 November 2017. I received no communication on Tuesday 7 November and went to check on the website which then stated that delivery would be on 9 November 2017. Still no communication received from Takealot at all. I went onto the website again today and note that the delivery date is now 13 November 2017. I am going on leave from 13 - 24 November and that it the reason I ordered this keyboard long before going on leave and it is my husband's birthday present. I find this EXTREMELY unprofessional that Takealot could not even have the decency to contact me and advise that the delivery date has changed. I am very disappointed and will NEVER order from Takealot again.

I look forward to hearing from you at your earliest convenience.

Takealot I want to order a diamond tufted black boarder with the following size. superkingsize 2000x1600 (2mx1.6) from floor and cant speak to somebody.

I have been trying to phone to place the abovementioned order of a Diamond tutfed blackboarder. size is 2m x1.6m deco learder ivory is the colour. Takealot navi battery life

 

 To whom it may concern 

Ive brought a gps navigation from you guys but ive got a problem with it .

It got delivered on saturday which was great but since then the battery dont last even for 30min 

It can be fully charged at night but as soon as im driving the battery drains within 30min flat

Ive got to keep it charged in the car to get directions as im a rep and i travel alot .

The device was on special i think for r999 which i see you guys are stil running .

Please let me know how i can return it for a refund or a new device, as im really disappointed with this purchase

Takealot delivery

Firstly I had an order that arrived one week late, after the date I was given. Had I not enquired I think no one would have noticed.
This morning I had a delivery and as I work from home, I sometimes go out to courier but am not gone for very long. Previously I would be phoned and would come straight back which would take maybe 5 min. Now no one bothers.

I have been a customer since Kalahari days and I can only say that service is on a downward spiral.

Takealot delivery

Delivery was expected by 03 Nov 2017 but no delivery showed up, called and was ensured that delivery will be made by 03 Nov 2017. No delivery by then, weekend passed still no delivery. on monday got a sms saying returned logged but no return was logged by me, i still was expecting delivery, tracked my order online and to my surprise it said order delivered, called multiple times and each time i was guaranteed delivery, and as expected no delivery by the end of the day.

Takealot shocking service and a terrible new system

I ordered a DVD. I have ordered so much, but never before have I had such shocking service. Some clown insisted that info was entered on a tablet. All well and good, but my name kept going to the bottom of the screen despite more than fifteen people signing in afterwards.
So the upshot is...I walked out . You need to RETURN the money. DO Not credit my account. Option two, deliver the item to me at a suitable time.
I have bought a lot on Takealot, but WILL NEVER BUY FROM YOU AGAIN.

Takealot undelivered order

On 19 October 2017 I enquired from Takelot via the [protected]@takealot.com e-mail address as to whether I could change my delivery method from collect to courier. A Takelot agent named Chad Jones responded to my e-mail stating the following:

Please note that in order for us to arrange delivery you would have to pay the R60 delivery fee due to the order being less than R450 and forward us the proof of payment.

In order to process your payment - please kindly note the following:

Please ONLY insert your Order ID as the reference (for example 123456)
Please make the exact deposit amount. In other words the price of the goods ordered plus the shipping fee.
Please retain your proof of deposit/transfer in case of queries.

Following his e-mail, I immemdiately made the payment of R60 and sent notification to the [protected]@takealot.com e-mail address.

On 27 October 2017 I sent Chad an e-mail to inform him that my order has still not been delivered to the address I provided. I then received an e-mail in which I was included that stated the following:

Hi Chad

Thank you for your patience.

We have changed your delivery from collect to courier to the provided address.

Kind Regards
Anella Mdutyulwa

A few hours later. I received an e-mail again in which I was included stating the following:

Hi Chad

Please provide us with your proof of payment as the order hasnt yet been authorised.

Regards
Anella Mdutyulwa

Then again Anella sends:

"Thank your for your patience.

Please send us proof of payment for the delivery."

I then proceeded to sending Anella the proof of my payment on 30 October 2017

I then received the following response from Josia Jacobs:

"Thank you for contacting Takealot.com.

We do apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Following up on the previous email request I can confirm that payment has been allocated to the profile"

after still not receiving my order on the 03 November 2017 I proceeded to enquire as to when i will be receiving my order and I received another e-mail this time from Yusrie Allie, stating the following:

"Thank you for contacting Takealot.com.

I trust this email finds you well,

As to your below query, I see that your parcel is a collect parcel.

Should you require further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Kind Regards

yusrie allie"

Now I had it. Takelot is not only wasting my time but testing my patience. I have made all the necessary payments and they admit to receiving the payments and changing my delivery method from collect to courier. So where are my goods? If they cannot find my parcel or do not have my goods, i want my money reimbursed immediately.

Takealot shameless exploitation

Hi, firstly I did complaint to Proctor & Gamble who is the original importers to no avail, secondly I submitted a review on the product on take a lot to warn consumers but take a lot did not post the review. I bought 2 x Braun series 7 shavers from take a lot, paid R1700 on special per unit. I then bought two cutter cartidges at R400 each from another party(should be replaced ever 12 - 14 months). Now P&G dont import the maintenance parts for the shavers anymore and take a lot sells the cartidge at R1900? Shortage of supply amd take a lot and their supplier dont mind on bit to exploit the situation on bit. Why sell a product that needs maintenance parts if you are not sure if you will be able to supply the maintenamce part and if you can stock it then charge an INSANE price. You buy a manual razor knowing that the cartridges will cost you a heavy penny but you buy an electric shaver as an investment, FYI the cartidges that does not have a supply issue is R350 - R 450 on take a lot... that says a lot, very poor practice from take a lot, P&G and Braun in total a brand name with very very dissapointing after sales service from all parties involved

Takealot no stock then no refund

I placed an order to buy an jt tactical paintball kit. First the delivery date was 19 oct then 23 oct. When i phoned on the 23rd of oct to confirm if it will be delivered i was told that there is no stock and that the order has been cancelled. Aparently the supplier did not have stock. I have been waiting since the 23rd of oct for the refund inorder for me to get my money back. Since this morning i have been speacking to 5 diferent people at the contact centre. Not one of the gave me the same information on when the refund will reflect in my account. I checked no on the takealot site and all of a sudden there is stock! So no i am still waiting for the refund although there is stock in cape town.

Takealot delay in parcel delivery

Good day. My original parcel was to be delivered to my work address on Friday 20th but this never happened. I followed up on Monday 23rd and was advised that my parcel is with Skynet who will deliver on Tuesday or latest Wednesday 25.10.2017. It is now Thursday with still no delivery. A short while ago I received a sms to advise that my expected delivery date is Friday 27 October. My order number is [protected]

I still do not know if I will ever get my order, as everything is so vague to me as a customer. I cannot see where (Location) my order is, nor with which Courier Service as per the attached image.

I do not expect any feedback whatsoever but would just like to voice my disappointment and frustration at the service received thus far. This is definitely not a convenient experience for me. It was my first Takealot experience and not a very pleasant one

Takealot call centre [protected]

Tried calling call center at 08h50 for delivery of fnb card (option 2) but automated msg kept saying that hours of operation are between 8-5 and dropping the call. after 4 attempts i call the same number and chose opption 1 to advise them of the issue and get further help. I spoke to Luke and he just didnt care what my issues were and kept telling me to press the right option even though i told him the problems i encountered. eventually he just dropped the phone on me. Ive since asked FNB to cancel that card and will also never buy from takealot again.

Takealot misrepresentation

In the pamphlet received with Sandton chronicle, takealot advertised (23 Oct - 12 Nov) the Mellerware air fryer for R849, and when you go online to order it, it is R999.
This is the second time this happens, previously wine was advertised for R89/bottle, and when I ordered, it was R106/bottle.
You can only order online, so they advertise in the local papers for cheaper, and when you get online, it is not the same price.

Takealot ordering of product

I payed in money to order the amazon kindle for R1798.
I was informed this cannot be delivered and was informed my account is credited.
When I went on your website the product is still available on your site.
How is this possible.
I don't feel happy about this since the product is difficult to get hold of.
Hope you understand my unhappiness.
This is unacceptable for me.

Takealot dala art box

I orderd the art box ons 17 October and the delivery date was 24 October. I tracked the parcel and everytime it said it will be delivered 24 October. I haven't received it nor did I hear from the courier company to tell me it is going to be late or any other arrangements made. I want to know how am I going to get the parcel I paid for ot my money back.

Takealot declined exchange

I ordered a ring in August. I followed the sizing instructions prescribed by Takealot, however, the ring was too big. Unfortunately I purchased the ring early than the date I was going to give the ring as a gift and only determined the incorrect size 33 days after delivery. Takealot declined the exchange since I exceeded the exchange policy by 3 days. I am a regular customer and this time I felt that the online shopping experience did not work for me. Had I made these purchases from a retail store, I may have been given a concession, due to my long standing relationship.
I am really disappointed and I am reconsidering any future purchases from Takealot.

Takealot fake products sold to customers

I recently ordered an original OKAPI knife from Takealot.com as described in the description of the knife. I then received an OK-KAPE knife with a cheap plastic handle and a damaged blade. The fake knife came in an original OKAPI box.I am really disappointed and feel robbed by Takealot . My wife and i often purchase items from Takealot and are wondering what else we bought is also fake.

Takealot order [protected]

Order [protected] was placed on 17 October 2017 for 2 items: a thermometer and a Suzelle DIY book.
On 18 October a delivery was received of A4 college exercise books which is not what was ordered. A return was then arranged with your call centre as the Takealot app was giving me an error message.
A collect and deliver was then arranged for 20 October. The courier then arrived with only 1 item of the original order - the thermometer and he collected the incorrect item of the A4 college exercise books. He assured me that the other item Suzelle DIY book would be delivered asap. Another courier arrived later that day with the correct outstanding item Suzelle DIY book but would not give it to me as he wanted the return item A4 college exercise books which I had already returned to the other courier earlier that day.
So now I'm still waiting for the correct item Suzelle DIY book?
I find this totally unacceptable that the courier got aggressive when I couldn't give him the return item that was returned earlier that day.
So please sort your [censor] out and communicate better with your couriers about what they need to deliver.
And please get the correct item Suzelle DIY book delivered asap without expecting a return as this was already done!
