Take 5 Oil Change Damaged my oil pan and refuse to pay

Just a little heads up about Take 5 Oil change in Rowlett. They damaged my oil pan and bolt and now refuse to pay for that damage. Rowlett manager stated my car had a recall for the oil pan, it was a known issue and they would not pay. Called Chevy, no recall now, nor has there ever been one. So that's a lie. Don't take your car here for a oil change or anything else for that matter, obviously they don't care. I have called their corporate office, but I don't expect anything from them either, but I have to try. Of course the damage wasn't found until I went to get the oil changed again.

Recommendation: Don't take your car here, ever!

Take 5 Oil Change Unprofessional and Unreliable: My Disappointing Experience at Take 5 in Stillwater, OK

I recently visited Take 5 in Stillwater, OK for an oil change. When I arrived, I was greeted by two employees who were joking around and playfully trying to get to the computer next to my car. While this was a bit unprofessional, I didn't think much of it at the time. However, when the service manager came over, he informed me that they didn't have the oil filter needed for my VW diesel. I was a bit frustrated, but after only two minutes, they miraculously found the filter. I was skeptical, so I asked for the filter as I was leaving. To my surprise, it was not the correct filter for my car, so I knew that the oil had not been changed.

I immediately took my car to a mechanic to have it checked out. To my horror, the bottom engine cover was hanging down and not secured. The oil had not been changed at all! I was furious. I couldn't believe that they charged me for a service that they didn't even perform. My car only has 69,000 miles on it, and the oil that they took out was black and very old. I called their customer service in Louisiana, but they just put me on hold and then a voice prompt told me to call back later. This was unacceptable.

Overall, I was extremely disappointed with my experience at Take 5. The employees were unprofessional, and the service was a complete rip-off. I will never use Take 5 again, and I would not recommend them to anyone. It's important to find a trustworthy and reliable mechanic who will actually perform the services that they charge you for.

Take 5 Oil Change Terrible Experience with Take 5 Oil Change: Caused a Leak in My Car

I had a really bad experience with Take 5 Oil Change. As a young adult in college, it's already hard enough to maintain a car while working a somewhat full-time job schedule. But this business made it even harder for me.

I had just gotten work done on my car and had a system check to fix any leaks in my car three months prior to going to Take 5 for an oil change. I knew I had no leaks prior to going there. But after getting my oil changed, I left with a leak! I have the paperwork to prove it.

I was really disappointed and frustrated with Take 5. It seems like they are the culprit for poking holes in people's cars when they need an oil change. Now, I have to go back to the shop to figure out why I have another leak after getting an oil change.

I park my car in a personal garage every night and every day, and I have not seen any leaks in my car prior to this oil change. So, I would know if I had a leak prior and after. This was my first oil change from coming out of the shop, and now I have a leak!

I would avoid Take 5 like the plague. Don't go there if you don't want to get a leak in your car. It's really frustrating to have to deal with this on top of everything else. But I know God will get me through it like he always does.

Take 5 Oil Change Terrible Experience at Take 5 Oil Change: Incorrect Filter, Damaged Engine, and Poor Service

I went to the Rayford location of Take 5 Oil Change on a Sunday afternoon. I arrived at around 1:45 and didn't leave until after closing time at 6:45. My car had to be towed to my mechanic after the visit. It's worth noting that they close at 5pm on Sundays. The guy who worked on my car told me that the previously installed oil filter was incorrect and that my 2011 Tiguan was not supposed to have a canister filter. He ended up damaging part of the engine oil housing component and claimed that it wasn't supposed to be there. I asked him to give me the part he trashed, but it took him 15-20 minutes to find it. He then called his manager because he couldn't get the new filter on and claimed that the previous mechanic cross-threaded it. The guy told his manager about the incorrect part and the manager asked for the part, which I gave to him. He reinserted it back into the oil housing. I called my mechanic to speak with the manager, and he told my mechanic that he cross-threaded it. It's important to note that this was the first oil change after my engine was rebuilt. My mechanic tried to guide the guy over the phone on how to install the filter by lining up the threads, but he said he didn't want to mess it up. Long story short, my car had to be towed. This was the worst experience I've ever had. I strongly recommend that you stay away from this place. Otherwise, it will cost you more than the cost of an oil change. Additionally, this place has over 350 complaints with the Better Business Bureau.

Take 5 Oil Change Disappointing Experience at Take 5 Oil Change in McKinney, Texas

I recently visited the Take 5 Oil Change location near 380 and Redbud in McKinney, Texas for an oil change on my 2019 BMW. I was drawn to this location because their sign stated that they serviced BMW's and Lexus vehicles. I have always taken my Lexus to this location without any issues, so I thought it would be a good choice for my BMW as well.

However, after the oil change was completed, I noticed that the message "Service Vehicle/Oil Change" was displayed on my information center. I spoke with the service advisor and was informed that they couldn't delete or update the message display center and that I would have to take my vehicle to a nearby BMW dealership. I was disappointed to hear this, especially since I had paid over $100 for the oil change.

To make matters worse, I also noticed that another message displayed to fill fluids. I was confused as fluid levels are generally checked during an oil change. I was not informed by the establishment or the advisor that this wasn't done or couldn't be done, which would have given me the opportunity to take my vehicle to a location where I could receive "Complete Full Service". Now, I have to take my vehicle to BMW, which I should have done initially, and pay an additional $100 to have my fluids topped off along with clearing the message center.

I think it's important for service centers to be transparent about their capabilities. If they are not able to complete services for certain vehicles 100%, that should be noted or maybe a sign should be posted stating that BMW's and Lexus Oil Change are available with some exclusions. This would save customers time and money in the long run.

Overall, I was disappointed with my experience at Take 5 Oil Change. I hope they can improve their services and communication with customers in the future.

Take 5 Oil Change Unsatisfactory Experience with Take 5 Oil Change: Low Oil Level and Disrespectful Staff

I visited Take 5 Oil Change in Brandon, FL on October 2, 2022, and opted for a High Mileage Oil Change. However, my experience with them was not satisfactory. On January 20, 2023, while on my way to work, my car suddenly lost power. I immediately contacted the dealership, who towed my car to their location to avoid any further damage. Upon inspection, they found that the oil level was below the marker and the oil itself was black in color. This was surprising as my car has no oil leaks and I had just gotten an oil change from Take 5 Oil Change.

When I called Take 5 Oil Change to inquire about the issue, one of their agents told me that with a foreign car, the oil burns faster and gets low very fast once you reach 3000 miles on a High Mileage Oil Change. However, the dealership informed me that if I had continued to drive, it would have destroyed my engine. This was a major concern for me as I had paid $90.34 for the High Mileage Oil Change and did not need a filter at that time.

To make matters worse, the staff at Take 5 Oil Change tried to discount the dealership's diagnosis and claimed that the oil burns faster when you are approaching 300 miles on a High Mileage Oil Change. This was a clear attempt to gaslight me and make me doubt my own knowledge about cars. As someone who is over 50 years old, I found this behavior extremely disrespectful and unprofessional.

Overall, my experience with Take 5 Oil Change was disappointing and I would not recommend them to anyone, not even my worst enemy. It is important to choose a reliable and trustworthy service provider for your car's maintenance needs, and unfortunately, Take 5 Oil Change did not meet my expectations.

Take 5 Oil Change Terrible Experience with Take 5 Oil Change: Poor Customer Service and Lack of Accountability

I recently had my cars serviced by Take 5 Oil Change, and unfortunately, my experience was not a positive one. During one of my visits, a new employee stripped my oil plug bolt, causing a leak on my driveway. Although the employee apologized, I was not satisfied with the way the situation was handled by the management.

When I asked to speak with the lead, I witnessed a heated argument between him and the new employee. I was not given a clear explanation of what had happened, and I had to take my car back to the shop multiple times for attempted repairs. Each time, I was given the runaround and was not provided with receipts for the repairs.

After four visits in two weeks, I requested to speak with the manager or DM, but they both seemed to be playing a game of cat and mouse with me. Finally, the manager called me and told me to read the fine print on my receipt, which stated that they were not responsible for any damage to my vehicle.

I was extremely disappointed with the way this situation was handled, and I decided to file a formal complaint with corporate. However, I was only able to leave a voicemail and never received a call back.

In contrast, a year ago, when Walmart stripped a plug on my new car during an oil change, they took full responsibility for the damage. They even paid for my rental car and repairs at Honda. This experience with Take 5 Oil Change was a complete joke, and the management was rude and unprofessional.

Overall, I would not recommend Take 5 Oil Change to anyone. Their lack of accountability and poor customer service make them one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with.

Take 5 Oil Change Cautionary Tale: My Frustrating Experience at Take 5 Oil Change in Mukwonago, WI

I recently visited Take 5 Oil Change in Mukwonago, WI and had a bit of a frustrating experience. When I arrived, the employees informed me that due to my high mileage, they recommended using high mileage oil. I agreed, assuming that they would use the regular high mileage oil that I was familiar with. However, when I received my bill, I was shocked to see that it was $101 - much higher than my usual $40 oil change. When I asked why it was so expensive, they told me that the oil filter for my vehicle was the most expensive one possible. I was disappointed to hear this, as I had just purchased a used car and was worried about what other expensive surprises it might have in store for me.

After doing some research, I discovered that the oil filter for my car actually costs between $1.33 and $3.00 online. I called Take 5 to ask about this, and the woman who answered the phone informed me that they were under new management and that the employee who serviced my car had taken it upon themselves to use synthetic oil. I was surprised to hear this, as I had not requested synthetic oil and had assumed that they would use the regular high mileage oil that I was familiar with. When I asked if they always used synthetic oil, the woman was unsure and told me that she didn't know the answer to that question. As someone who is not very knowledgeable about cars, this was a bit concerning to me.

Overall, I would caution others to be careful when visiting Take 5 Oil Change. While my experience may have been a fluke, I would hate for someone else to have a similar experience and potentially damage their car's engine.

Take 5 Oil Change Terrible Experience at Take 5 Oil Change: Loose Oil Filter, Low Oil, and No Customer Service

I gotta say, I ain't too thrilled with this Take 5 Oil Change joint. I only went there once to get my oil changed and let me tell ya, it was a real doozy. I had no idea what was in store for me when I drove up to that place. After they finished up with my oil change, I drove off thinking everything was hunky-dory. But boy was I wrong. Turns out, they didn't replace the oil filter properly and it was all loosey-goosey. I didn't realize this until my car started acting up a few days later. It was making all sorts of weird noises and then it just locked up on me one day. I was lucky I wasn't on the highway or I woulda been in a real pickle.

So I took my car to get serviced and they told me there was barely any oil left in it. Can you believe that? I coulda wrecked my whole engine! And to make matters worse, I went to another Take 5 location to get it looked at and they just waved me off. Didn't even bother to check it out. I was so mad I coulda spit nails. It ended up costing me a pretty penny to get it fixed, around $800. And to top it all off, I tried to reach out to the company to talk about what happened and nobody ever got back to me. Can you believe that? It's like they don't even care about their customers.

I've had my car for over five years and I've never had a problem with an oil change until I went to Take 5. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

Take 5 Oil Change Take 5 Auto Care: Poor Service and Irresponsible Business Practices

I take pride in maintaining my vehicle, and I always make sure to keep up with oil changes and tire rotations. However, on a busy day when my regular dealership was unavailable, I decided to take my car to Take 5 for an oil change. On May 9th, 2022, I visited the Take 5 location on Veterans Blvd in Port Charlotte, Florida. The technicians seemed tired and overheated, but I trusted them to do their job with a routine oil change. My car is a 2016 Honda Civic, and it has a factory metal plate that must be removed during an oil change. One of the younger technicians yelled out to the manager, informing him that my car had a skid plate. The manager went underneath and removed the skid plate.

After the oil change was complete, I asked the technicians to let me know if everything checked out okay. The technician, who was also one of the managers on site, told me that everything looked perfect and even checked my tire pressure. However, while driving down the interstate later that day, my skid plate flew off my car and nearly caused an accident. I immediately called the Take 5 location and spoke to the manager about the incident. He suggested that I purchase an aftermarket plastic replacement off of eBay and offered to zip tie it back on my vehicle. This was not an acceptable solution.

I contacted my car insurance, and my deductible is $1000. Additionally, my vehicle will be unusable during the repairs. I have tried calling several customer service lines at ***488 and ***205, as well as emailing the customer service department, but I have not received any replies. When I call the customer service numbers, the only option is to leave a voicemail for someone to call me back. It has been over two months, and I have not received any contact from the company.

I am extremely upset with this company's business practices, and I feel that they are one big sham. It is unacceptable for a company to offer such poor customer service and to not take responsibility for their mistakes. I would not recommend Take 5 to anyone, and I will never be returning to their establishment.

Take 5 Oil Change Nightmarish Experience at Take 5 Oil Change: Unprofessional Behavior and Overcharging

The experience I had at Take 5 Oil Change today was nothing short of a nightmare. My husband and I have been loyal customers and have never had any issues, until now. I brought my vehicle in for an oil change, but as I was receiving services, I overheard one of the employees making fun of and mimicking the voice of a female customer who was there before me. This was extremely distasteful and unprofessional. After receiving my services, I noticed that the amount charged to my credit card was not the same as what I was quoted and approved for by Diego. I called the location and was asked to bring the invoice back to show them.

However, when I arrived back at the location, I was greeted by three large male employees, including the one who had been making fun of the previous customer. They accused me of changing the papers and refused to correct the mistake, even though it was clear that I was overcharged. I felt completely unsafe as they surrounded me, without masks or gloves, and disregarded social distancing measures. They also refused to give me the manager's voicemail number, despite my request.

This was by far the worst customer service experience of my life. Although Diego was the most professional employee, the behavior of the other employees was unacceptable. They were disrespectful, unprofessional, and even went as far as to intimidate me. As someone who has secret shopped over 100+ businesses, I am ashamed that I gave this location my business. I would strongly recommend that women avoid this chain entirely, as it is clear that they have a problem with bullying and improper charging. In fact, I recommend that NO ONE visit this location.

I am seeking an appropriate resolution to this matter as soon as possible. It is unacceptable that I was treated in this manner and that my safety was put at risk amidst a global pandemic. I hope that this review will help others to avoid similar experiences and that this location will take the necessary steps to address their employees' behavior.

Take 5 Oil Change Disappointing customer service experience at Take 5 Oil Change

As a long-time patron of Take 5 Oil Change, I have always enjoyed their services and how professional the staff members were. However, my most recent visit was extremely disappointing due to the discourteous behavior of one of the employees who appeared to be the soon-to-be manager of the establishment.

It is disheartening to see that the quality of customer service at Take 5 Oil Change has plummeted to this level. The individual in question was incredibly impolite and did not make any effort to be helpful or courteous to the customers. As someone who has been using their services for more than 17 years, I was astounded to see such unprofessionalism being displayed at a trusted institution.

While I appreciate the kindness and professionalism exhibited by the other members of the staff, I cannot bring myself to return to Take 5 Oil Change until they take adequate action towards addressing the issue. It is unacceptable for an employee, especially someone in a managerial position, to be rude and hostile towards customers. The business owners and management must take stringent actions to train their staff members on how to deal with customers, maintain professionalism, and create a positive experience for customers.

Moreover, no one should ever be talked to so impolitely, whether it is a customer or an employee. This kind of behavior is detrimental to any business and can seriously harm the reputation of Take 5 Oil Change. I hope the management takes note of my feedback and implements corrective measures to ensure that such a situation never arises again. I look forward to returning to the business once the issue has been addressed adequately.

Take 5 Oil Change Unacceptable Service: Take 5 Oil Change Causes Damage and Ignores Complaints

When I first took my car to Take 5 Oil Change in Kent, OH, I was expecting a quick and easy oil change. However, my experience turned out to be quite the opposite.

Upon arriving, a service technician promptly directed me to turn off my car. But before I had a chance to do so myself, he shut the garage door on my trunk, causing damage to the paint and leaving scratches. To my surprise, instead of apologizing or acknowledging the damage, the technician simply wiped it with his jacket and said nothing.

I was naturally upset about the situation and reached out to the corporate office a total of six times for resolution. Unfortunately, I received no response whatsoever. Despite providing them with pictures and a report of the damage, Take 5 Oil Change refused to even acknowledge my situation. This is an unacceptable way to conduct business and left me feeling disheartened.

Looking back on my experience, I feel obliged to warn others to be cautious when visiting Take 5 Oil Change. It's clear that they don't prioritize the well-being of customer's cars, evidenced by the harm that was done to mine. I sincerely hope their company policy changes to reflect a more customer-oriented approach in the future.

Take 5 Oil Change Poor Customer Service Experience at Take 5 Oil Change: Over 2 Hour Wait for Service and Hostile Attitude from Workers

Hi there,

I recently visited the Take 5 Oil Change location and had a less-than-pleasant experience. While I arrived at 10:48am, I did not leave until 12:46pm - a total of nearly two hours! Despite having only one car in front of me upon arrival, my own car was not serviced until 11:15am. I then waited inside the shop for over an hour and a half, during which time all other vehicles that were behind me in line were serviced before mine.

When I inquired as to why my car was the last to be serviced even though I arrived earlier than others, I was met with hostility from one of the workers there. This individual yelled at me and checked in other patrons, leaving me to continue waiting for my own service.

The experience was extremely frustrating and left me feeling insulted. I believe changes need to be made in the customer service approach at this location, as it is not fair nor appropriate to treat customers in such a manner.

Take 5 Oil Change Poor Quality Service and Lacking Management at Take 5 Oil Change

I have been a regular customer of Take 5 Oil Change for quite some time now and have always relied on them to maintain my 2021 GMC. However, during my last visit, I noticed that they were not checking certain important things like the wiper blades, coolant level, air filter, cabin filter, or tire pressure. I immediately brought up the concern with the store manager who assured me that they would take care of it in the future.

But unfortunately, on my recent visit on 5/7/2022, I found out that they had not done any of the checks that they had promised me they would. When I approached the staff about it and inquired to speak with the manager, they referred me to someone who claimed to be the district manager.

To my disappointment, this district manager had no qualms about lying to me about the checks that were supposed to be done on my vehicle. It was a clear indication that the management of Take 5 Oil Change is severely lacking and the service quality is quite poor.

In my opinion, a good leader sets the right example and ensures that everything is done properly. If the district manager, who is the topmost person in the hierarchy, is not following through with what he promised, how can we trust that the employees will do their job diligently? This is a major issue that needs to be addressed by Take 5 Oil Change as soon as possible.

Take 5 Oil Change Oil change

Don't use Take 5 for your oil change. Amarillo tx. I went last week and never made it home. They cracked the oil filter housing and now it's going to cost 1284.00 to fix. Of course they are saying it was already cracked so they will not take responsibility for the damages. This was my first oil change since getting the car 8 months ago. Funny how the car was running fine before they touched it. They haven't even seen the damages yet they claim it had to have been cracked already!

Claimed loss: 1284.00

Desired outcome: I just want them to pay first the damages and the cost they charged me for the oil change that was blotched

On Sunday 11/5 I came to the Parma Ohio Location for an oil change. Noticed the tech was under the car longer than normal, he then left to grab a coworker and he went under the car. The manager then asked where I had my last oil change done. I told where and he then said that they stripped my oil plug and that I had an oil leak. They topped off my oil and I...

The take 5 oil change location on hwy 85 in Riverdale ga, dealt with me so terrible. As a woman I feel like I was targeted on November 4,2023 I went [protected]@ 6pm to get an oil change, there were four young men employees there. One immediately went under the car to begin the process of oil change before I explained what kind of oil change, I desired. I told one...

Take 5 Oil Change Oil Change

On August 28, 2023, I proactively had my oil changed at Take 5 Oil Change before a month long trip overseas. Cost was $109.88. When I returned in October I noticed a lot of oil droplets leaking from the front area of the engine. I took my vehicle back to Take 5 on October 19, 2023 and the manager insisted that I had a rear main seal leak. I asked again to check around the filter but he insisted it was old oil. A technician snuggled down the oil filter housing and topped off the oil. I then had to wait a week to get an appointment with my Independent BMW mechanic. He stated that the oil seal was not installed with the new filter. Replacing filter, troubleshooting and clean up cost $321.43. I went back to the same manager on October 25, 2023 and he took a photo of my receipts. Told me he would get back with me but as of November 3, 2023 have not heard back. Just over 400 miles had been driven and had lost 1 quart of oil.

Claimed loss: $321.43 for the replacement of the Oil filter, diagnosis and clean up.

Desired outcome: I would like Take 5 to reimburse me for the needed repair of the mistake they made not putting in the oil filter seal.

I recieved a coolant flush on 9/6/23. Days after I recieved a coolant flush, the coolant started leaking. I return to the store and a couple of asociates looked at the car and said its not there fault and to have someone look at it. I contacted my mechanic to find the problem as suggested. The water pump and thermostat needed to be replaced. However, he...

I pulled into the Take 5 oil change this morning around 11am with my wife and 3 kids for a quick oil change. I have had issues at this location in the past but have overlooked them in an attempt to not have to go elsewhere. There were 3 vehicles including mine. A small clean cut young man came up and I told him I just wanted an oil change. He said ok and...

I received an oil change on my 2018 Buick Encore during the first week of July 2023 on 3600 W Stan Schlueter Loop in Killeen Tx. When the oil change was done I had to turn back around to inform them that they put the wrong mileage on my sticker they also forgot to reset the tracker in the car. When I was in need of an oil change again I went back to them...

I presented for an oil change on Tuesday, August 15, 2023. I arrived at 5:50 PM CST and there were no other customers. I asked how late they were open and was told 6 PM. (They are actually open until 7 PM CST!) I asked if there was still time and was told “Yes, always.” As they proceeded to change the oil, one of the customer service reps was checking...

Take 5 Oil Change Take 5 should have given me the owner's phone number so that I could complain to him or her without interference from the take 5 manager.

Recommendation: Do not take your car to any Take 5 Oil Change unless the manager will freely give you the owner's phone number. Why? Because a Take 5 OIL Change on Whitten Rd. left my car's oil plug loose and I wasted 2 hours of my time at a Mazda dealer thinking my engine gaskets were leaking. Take 5 really "TOOK ME" because not only did they refuse a refund but the owner's phone number as well so that I could not complain to him directly.

Take 5 Oil Change Oil change

I was in the shop on Nettleton Ave in Jonesboro AR round the first of July. I got a full oil change. The technician had a problem and called someone over. They threw something onto their little work cart and looked like they were trying to repair something. He called over the other technician and the boss I guess who sits in the middle and collects the cash. They were shaking their heads and walked away. They had broken off the ring to my dipstick and pretended nothing happened. I went in for the advertised oil change and they ended up charging me around 30 dollars more than what I was expecting to pay. They also gave me a checklist and hadn't really checked most of it. I am disgusted and will never return and am seriously considering getting an attorney. Customers should not be treated this way.

Desired outcome: Fix my car

Take 5 Oil Change Damage to engine

On May 1st 2023 I took my vehicle to take 5 oil change at 709 N.Lake Dr Lexington SC for an oil change I was informed that I needed a coolant flush which I paid for and they administered for me. After the coolant flush was done on my vehicle my coolant light kept coming on along with the oil light warning me I was low on fluids. I went back to take 5 and informed them where they proceeded to tell me everything was fine and it was not. The technicians servicing my vehicle never added any coolant to my vehicle although I was told by those EMPLOYEES that it was a sensor in my car going wrong not the fact that there was never any coolant replaced by Take 5. After going back and explaining that it was not a sensor and asking them to check the actual coolant I was told it was fine 4 times without them ever removing the cap. On my last visit I was told the exact same thing about my coolant and the next day my vehicle stopped working because do to no coolant being in the vehicle the radiator cracked. I have taken my vehicle to the dealership who informed me of the problem and the reason it happened so I have spoken to a licensed mechanic. He also informed me after I explained what take 5 did when they applied the coolant flush that it was done wrong. I have made several complaints and I am prepared to take further action with the courts especially after being told by several employees at Take 5 were fired do to lack of experience and major mistakes that has caused more people than me problems with there vehicles. I would like to resolve this issue by being reimbursed for the coolant flush and Take 5 paying for the repairs on my vehicle that they caused thank you my name is Misty Chastain and my Fiance is Barry Allen who was with me during and after the incident we can be reached at [protected] anytime. PLEASE ADDRESS THIS ISSUE AND RESOLVE THIS ISSUE thank you for your time.

Desired outcome: Reimbursement for coolant flush and pay for all repairs due to their mistake!

Something similar happened to me in July 2023 as I have been getting the run away, no accounting, they won’t take responsibility by redirecting blame and I am now at my wits end. I reached out to local news investigations and in pursuit of looking for an attorney for help!

Contact John Fitzpatrick (CEO of Driven Brands - parent company) also include Neal Aronson (Founder of Roark Capital). They damaged my daughter's car and I went all the way up the food chain when I started getting the runaround. They settled with us on a total loss of my daughter's car. 2021 Hyundai Tucson 42k miles on it when she took it in. (we bought it brand new and only owed $3k on it). Now we are out thousands of dollars because we had to buy another car. Hyundai discontinued making those engines and there were no remanufactured ones available. It was a disaster just trying to get someone to look at it. Story is too long to tell but we are not finished with Take 5, Driven Brands or Roark Capital. It's time for a class action suit.

I had a complete oil change on my 2021 Jeep. I now needed a second oil change. I went back to Take 5 but they were to busy and I didn’t have time to wait so I decided to do it myself. I bought the oil and filter and proceeded. Once I was under the car, I could see next to the oil plug the pan was cracked but not leaking. I tried to take the oil pan plug off...
