Hello, my name is Hailey and I am a reoccurring customer with Take 5. I have only ever gotten my oil changed from this establishment. The last time I got my oil change was a few months back, my oil light came on recently so I went back to the Take 5 Oil I previously went to. They screwed the canister on so tight they can’t get it off to do another oil change! They literally look at me and said we can’t do anything, I took it to another take 5 and they said the same-except they gave me a new oil filter and canister top. I shouldn’t have to pay a mechanic for an issue that they caused, it’s a huge inconvenience!
Claimed loss: Need an oil change and can’t get one!!
Desired outcome: I am not here to complain, I would love to have the mechanic service paid for + the oil change. I didn’t cause this issue so I don’t believe I should be the one having to pay for it.

Take 5 Oil Change - Unauthorized Usage of universal coolant
I recieved a coolant flush on 9/6/23. Days after I recieved a coolant flush, the coolant started leaking. I return to the store and a couple of asociates looked at the car and said its not there fault and to have someone look at it. I contacted my mechanic to find the problem as suggested. The water pump and thermostat needed to be replaced. However, he strongly suggested that the coolant in the car should not be put back in because it was not type od coolant my car use. My mechanic suggested I call 5 min oil change and request a refund since I had to buy the correct coolant.
I called the store and spoke with Keion (who was extremely rude and had no customer service skills). He assured me that the Manager, Ron, would give me a call the following day. Ron called, and after discussing the issue he requested my mechanic phone number. When I called back to the store, after getting my mechanics approval, with the phone number I spoke with Matraious who acted as the gate keeper for Ron. I gave Matrious the mechanics phone number, and never heard from Ron.
So, I called the corporate customer service phone and left a message for help with resolving the issue, and two days later Ron called me back. He had no idea it was me. After talking with him. He claimed to have spoke with my mechanic but still needed to know what work had been done to the vehicle. To assure the connection was made, I had to get my mechanic to call Ron.
After Ron spoke with my mechanic. He called called me back and said universal coolant should work in my car and there's nothing he is willing to do to resolve the issue.
I have been supporting this business for years with two different vehicles, and I would love to believe take 5 min oil change are capable of managing and resolving customer issues in a fair manner. Please help to resolve this issue.
