I have been a customer with Synchrony Bank for over 15 years good standing payments on time never over the limit out of the blue they just up and close my Lowe's account never gave me a reason other than high balance for 30 days just closed it ( which I do sometimes remodeling and pay off within 30days)
I filed a dispute and now 6 months later they've closed all my other synchrony bank accounts PayPal Amazon Etc because I had a Synchrony Bank/ Credit closed by client meaning them on my record. still perfect credit outstanding credit with them no late payments NO High balances never even close to my credit limit! Synchrony is the worst bank ever at this point in my mind they are trying to be a global company buying up Banks and they're getting too big for themselves and forgetting who put them there. I'm going to watch this Bank fail. They're going to turn into another Montgomery Ward's Fingerhut company and prey upon low income so beware

Recommendation: Go with Amex Chase and Discover solid companies

Beware of Synchrony Bank They are charging me 1.50 for interest on a account with zero balance and the account was set up as auto pay... Very shady banking practices. I hope this review stops you from making a grave mistake going with this bank who BTW is not BBB approved. Save yourself a headache and shop elsewhere..
