on March 20th 2026 I spoke with Elisha in regards to an unknown $27.00 fee charged to my card. I was told it was a fee in regard to a glitch in making a payment on line for my TJ maxx credit card.
I have been a loyal customer for years and typically pay my bill in full ahead of time on line. The day I paid I checked my bank account and noticed the payment did not come out so I called number on back of TJ Mxx card to see what happened. Customer service told me the payment I made was declined. I was surprised as this has never happened before. I paid again over the phone with customer service. Next thing know i see $27.00 charged to my account. I called and was told i was charged for the payment being declined due to incorrect bank number "I " put in. I do NOT put in any numbers as it automatically goes to auto fill every time without a problem. I explained over and over to Elisha and she refused to reimburse the charge. I don't know what the glitch was yet I was never told I would be charged such an amount due to an obvious glitch. Please remove this charge for me. I will next go to VT consumer protection as this is not ok .This charge was more than half of what I owed.
