I had a pretty bad experience with Travel Merry when I tried to book a couple of tickets to Ireland last year. I was looking for a cheap deal, so I thought I'd take a chance on this site. Unfortunately, things didn't go as smoothly as I had hoped.
When I tried to book the tickets, I only received confirmation for one of them. I was a bit confused, so I called their customer service to find out what was going on. They told me that the second ticket would be confirmed soon, so I waited patiently. However, after more than 24 hours, I received an email saying that the second ticket had been cancelled.
I was pretty upset about this, so I called Travel Merry again to see if they could help me out. Unfortunately, they told me that it would cost twice the flight cost to cancel the ticket and about the same to book the second ticket for my wife. I was faced with a tough choice: either fly separately from my wife or pay double the advertised price.
Thankfully, I was able to get some help from Chase, who agreed that this was fraud and withdrew the charge. However, over a year later, I started getting harassed by Travel Merry about cancelling their charge. It was frustrating to deal with people who were misrepresenting what happened and acting like I just wanted to add on a ticket.
Overall, I wouldn't recommend booking with Travel Merry. It seems like their business model is to not give you the flight you paid for and then try to get you to pay double for flights. Plus, their customer service wasn't very helpful when I had an issue. If you're looking for a reliable travel site, I'd suggest looking elsewhere.

So, I had a bit of a rough experience with TravelMerry. My flight got cancelled and I was told to call them right away. I am extremely frustrated with my experience with TravelMerry. I will never use their services again! All of the other reviews I read before booking my flight confirmed my experience.
I found a flight for a great price of $575 for a quick 4-day getaway. After booking, the confirmation page stated that my booking was "in process and not confirmed." This made me worry. The next morning, I received a phone call from someone with an Indian accent that I could barely understand. The only thing I could make out was "call me back." It was clear that they couldn't even pronounce the name of their own company correctly. I didn't think much of it and didn't call them back.
They didn't text or email me any updates. When I called to confirm my booking, it was too late. The flight I wanted was already gone. They offered me a new flight for $1270 instead of the original $575, and the new flight times cut my vacation short to only 3 days. I wasted two days of my time and my nerves were shot.
Someone else mentioned in their review that TravelMerry doesn't listen to their customers, and I completely agree. They talk over you and don't stop talking even when you're trying to say something. Is this just part of Indian culture? It was very stressful and I hated it!
I'm also worried because they have my credit card information on file. I hope they don't charge me for anything else. Overall, I would not recommend TravelMerry to anyone.

They had an "escalations" department, but it was just as inept as their regular customer service line.
I strongly advise avoiding this company like the plague. When things go well with your reservation, it's fine. But as soon as there is the slightest complication, TravelMerry will use it as an opportunity to extract more money from you.

What a horrible customer service they have! Most of their representatives speak the poorest English I have ever heard, with a terrible accent so you will never understand what exactly they try to say.
TravelMerry, did you try to save some money on your staff? Well, it didn't work, if you don't know. I spent over 6 hours on the phone with them trying to straighten the things out. It was terrible.

I found this site and was amazed with their super cheap prices and ordered a ticket. I was already planning my trip but then they called me and said that my ticket was cancelled because thy had a problem with my credit card. They said that my bank was not allowing them to take the money. Called my bank to see what was the problem and they said that they did nothing and that TravelMerry already received the money! Called them again and they claimed my bank was a liar and that they never charged me. But the fact was that the did. Avoid this nasty company!
