I have had an absolutely terrible experience with Novasol. I booked a home in Italy through Booking.com that was managed by Novasol. The advertisement said that the home was a 9-minute walk from the beach and under 20 minutes to other points of interest. When we received the final confirmation with the actual address we found out that the home was a 38 minute walk to the beach and 45 minutes to the other points of interest. I flagged this to them ahead of our trip hoping they’d provide a solution or a refund, neither of which they did. We were traveling with our 1 year old and couldn’t stay that far from the sea so we ended up booking another property and have contacted Novasol documenting all of the conversations we’ve had with them and showing the exact listing and the actual distances. They are refusing a refund and keep replying to me with a robotic answer saying we had to have raised this issue before our stay, which we did!

I DO NOT recommend using this company. There are so many better options out there. They are dishonest and their customer service is a disgrace. Do yourself a favor and save yourself the headache.

So, if you're considering renting a vacation home through Novasol.no, I'd advise you to think twice. Unless you're okay with potential disruptions and a company that doesn't take ownership of their shortcomings, you might want to explore other options. Trust me, you don't want to end up like us, stuck with noisy construction ruining your much-needed relaxation time.

Novasol.no is an absolute joke of a company, let me tell you. We, as villa owners, made the mistake of signing a one-year contract with them. Little did we know that 2 and a half years later, they would start renting out our villa for holiday purposes. Can you believe it? We had no clue about this because all their emails ended up in our junk mail. They claimed that our contract was a rolling one, even though we were out of contract. And to top it off, the contract was in Spanish, and we had no interpreter present. I mean, come on, shouldn't all legal documents be signed in a Notary in Spain?

First of all, they didn't even use the guide price we had given them. They just charged whatever they wanted, without any consideration for our agreement. Secondly, they went ahead and booked people in, even though the dates were unavailable. Can you imagine the audacity? And to make matters worse, they booked our villa for only 2 people, when it can actually sleep up to 12 people. And they did it at less than one-third of the original price! It's just outrageous.

Now, here's the kicker. The company is now trying to claim back the full amount of the booking charges from us, the home owners. Can you believe the nerve? We have had enough of their bullying tactics, let me tell you. They kept bombarding my partner with phone calls, pressuring her to sign immediately. They acted like they were our best friends, but in reality, they were just out to con us.

In my humble opinion, I strongly advise against ever using this company. They don't deserve even a single star rating. Save yourself the trouble and find a more trustworthy and reliable company to work with. Trust me, you'll thank me later.
