I am filing this complaint after 7+ months of unresolved communication with SWISS International Air Lines.
I am a SWISS Frequent Traveller. On my return journey, I was downgraded from Premium Economy to Economy due to a missed connection caused by a delay.
Despite repeated follow‑ups, SWISS failed to provide timely updates. After several months, I was offered CHF 299 as compensation, with no written confirmation that this represents the actual fare difference.
Independent fare checks show the typical difference between Premium Economy and Economy on this route is CHF 1’000–1’300.
I am requesting:
A written explanation of how CHF 299 was calculated
A refund aligned with the real fare difference
The lack of transparency and delay is unacceptable, particularly for a frequent customer.
