Steers review: long wait and unprofessional behaviour

I visited Steers in Brits - Safari centre on Wednesday 11 September 2019. I ordered 1 of their wednesday "Wacky Wednesday" special and 6 "Sweet Stix)at 17h30 (as per the printed slip). At this time we were only 3 or 4 patrons in the outlet. As I waited the outlet started filling up, but people came and gone. After 30 minutes it seems we were 3 couples standing on the side waiting for our food. At the 40 minute mark I called one of the ladies at the counter "Caroline" and asked her if there is a manager on duty. She said yes, but that she was busy preparing food. I asked to speak to the manager, and miraculously within 2 minutes our food was ready (I received my meal at 18h13). I still wanted to speak to the manager but was then told she had left for Debonairs around the corner. I had no recourse to complain and was basically ignored by the staff. It is the 2nd time that I have experienced this sort of service at the Steers in Brits and I will not buy from them again!
