Flight from Atlanta to Chicago 6/8/2026 at 10am. Flight was originally supposed to leave at 8am but delayed until ten. Flight was packed and no room for luggage. I was extremely patient and I’m not one to make waves nor did I even when treated like I was today. The only nice person was at the check in before security. Everyone else was extremely rude esoeciallly the flight attendant with the long dark hair. I’m at the very back of the plane and I was trying to get to my window seat without harming the person in the aisle seat. The aisle seat person seemed like she wanted to stay seated and let me pass instead of get up which is fine so I proceeded. The flight attendant then put her hand directly in my face and set “step back! You need to step back so she can get out of her seat” and continued to yell at me. Her face mean and rude. I apologized moved back and the woman in the aisle reluctantly unbuckled and moved out of the way. No sorry for your delay, no sorry for the packed circumstances, just treat the pple on the plane like crap from the minute they sit down like we arnt paying customers that write her check. I’d also like to note this is my FIRST time flying Southwest Airlines and also my LAST. I always fly delta or United and now this has solidified that decision was a good one. Sending money to people that appreciate it and hire flight attendants that appreciate their customers. I could have dealt with the delay, the packed plane, the lack of luggage storage, but being treat like crap by the staff the whole way through is just unacceptable. I will be making sure my circle knows not to fly this airline as well.
