We got delayed in Denver because of a storm end of August with an added announcement they had to refuel. We then got a message that we would arrive at our destination an hour or two later (quite reasonable). It soon turned out to be an overnight stay at the airport. we are not avid travelers, figured things were booked so we stayed overnight at the airport on chairs and the floor and took the flight they gave us which was 12 hours later. We are 70 and were sick. No information of a lounge or attached hotel at the airport from southwest staff. No compensation even though we were using our points. Stewardesses were super rude before this even happened. We used to be happy with Southwest but their staff treated us terribly. We were very tired coming from Alaska...they could do a better job. If they hate their company or passengers, get out of the business.
