ShopGoodwill review: Falsely advertised product purchased

On 02/21/2024, I had the winning bid on what was listed exactly as follows… Vintage MCM Italian Silver Gilt Dome Box.

The listing also stated the item was in “good condition.”

When I received the item I was immediately upset because it was listed as MCM, and it was not MCM style but MCM. The item is absolutely not MCM. It was also listed as silver. It is painted silver and the white underneath is showing everywhere. Not in good condition. I immediately contacted the store it came from and expressed my disappointment.

The fact it stated MCM was never address by the associate. It was only stated the box was in good condition for “it’s age.” I was advised I could pay and ship it back .I paid a over inflated S&h already. It would make s&h for the small box over $40.00. The box was $19.99. I am so disgusted and disappointed now. I think you need to be very honest and clear about the products you sell. Not hateful and dismissive when confronted on a lie your business perpetrated. I have bought many things online. I will no longer buy anything else. This incident is the reason way.
