I had to pay for fixing my leather furniture after Sergeant Mover, LLC moved it on 6/17 and 6/24. I thought I was covered with the insurance I paid for, but the mover only fixed some of the damage and then disappeared for weeks at a time. After a month of on-and-off communication, they stopped responding altogether. We sent them an estimate for the leather repair, but the owner never responded. The damages cost me around 1000 to 1500 bucks. I have text proof if you need it. No cooperation from these guys at all.

Sergeant Movers ain't taking responsibility for damages even with insurance. Ain't responding to any messages. They moved my stuff on April 6th and moved it to my new crib on April 10th. They messed up my bathroom door, broke my desk, end table, lamp, lost garage shelf parts, and damaged my dining table. They tried to fix the door, but it's still messed up. I got insurance for up to $5000, but they still ain't paying up. I've been trying to get in touch with the owner, Jason, but he ain't answering my calls. He said it was unacceptable, but now he ain't saying nothing.

hey, so i used sergeant movers in july to move my fam from west coast to east coast. they did the job on time and no issues with the movers. but then they messed up our floors, walls, and furniture. they took pics and sent to the boss jason, and we did too. he said they'd fix it but now it's been 3 months and he won't answer our calls or texts. i run a biz and i know how important customer service is. just do the right thing and fix it or pay me back. not cool.

Bad customer service, big difference in price quoted versus actual due to lack of care and doing a proper job. On 06/30, the quote, with details provided, wasn't what was discussed, but the only thing in writing was a text message. It was more than double, but that's also because I ended up paying for time I shouldn't have! For example, when the guys are spending more time playing with the things they should be packing, like my kids' Halloween masks, flirting with the females in the neighborhood walking by (making derogatory comments as well), playing ping pong, soccer, football... The lack of care for the home (walls), as well as the pure disrespect in care of the belongings, caused lots of damage to the property and moved goods. They threw boxes off the truck - trying to play catch?!? Is that professional for a moving company? Maybe they didn't think I was watching? Had to do two trips and call a 2nd truck - but that was also because of the lack of proper packing of a truck capabilities - it's like a game of Tetris that they apparently don't know how to play! Speaking with the owner, who was not present at first but then came later, he seemed very not-caring about the situation. During the unpacking of the 2nd trip - and the putting together of the furniture - they literally just left, with no goodbye and not even sure if the truck was empty. Paid for that time with nobody doing anything until owner arrived to finish their job - and he had no idea they even left. Also, how can you know what is damaged and what is not - at the time of the completion when you have to sign a form stating you received all in good condition. Also never received a physical or emailed copy of receipt.
