Great Move

I had a really great experience with Elite Mover. They sent a three man crew to move my fiancé from a second story 2 bedroom apartment in Chicago to our house in Gurnee. The crew was really fast, efficient, and professional. They were able to move everything down the narrow back balcony and 4 levels of stairs without any issues.

As they were wrapping the furniture in blankets and cardboard, they pointed out any existing damages or scratches. This was really helpful because we were able to acknowledge the condition of the items before they were packed and moved.

Once we got to Gurnee, they unloaded the truck in less than 35 minutes. They took all the boxes and furniture to the proper rooms on the main floor, upstairs, basement, and garage. They even assembled the beds and mirrors on the dressers. They were really careful with everything and placed the furniture exactly where we wanted it.

The estimate was for 6 hours, but they finished in 5, including the 1 hour drive. We even forced them to stop and take a lunch break with us. They were really nice, hard working, great guys. We will definitely use them again to move my stuff to the new house in a few weeks.

I highly recommend Elite Mover. It was a wonderfully easy experience, and I would never move myself...ever. It was well worth it.

Elite Mover is the best moving service I have ever used! I was recommended to them by my doorman, Al, who said they had a great reputation. Joe, one of the bosses, came to my place and gave me an estimate that was way cheaper than two other companies I had talked to. He put Alejandro in charge of the three-man team who moved me. Alejandro was amazing! He was a great leader and really knew what he was doing. The other two guys were great too. They all worked together really well.

They showed up at 9AM, even though there was a blizzard the night before. They finished the job at 5:30, just like they said they would. I was really impressed with how careful they were with all my stuff. I have a lot of antique furniture, crystal, paintings, and sculptures, but nothing got damaged or broken.

I gotta say, Elite Mover is the real deal. I used them for my big move from Chi-town to Dallas and they did not disappoint. Dana, the gal I worked with, was super nice and knew what she was talking about. She even helped me out by checking out other companies' bids to make sure I got the best deal. And boy did I get a good deal!

The moving guys were also really cool. They came to my place and wrapped up all my furniture like it was their own. They even took care of my boxes, which was a relief. I was so nervous about all the horror stories I had heard about moving companies, but these guys were the real deal.

I did have to wait a couple of weeks to get my stuff, but that was because of the holidays. I was hoping for it to come sooner, but I guess that's just how it goes. When the truck finally arrived, the driver and his two buddies were super nice. They even helped me move some stuff into my new place.

I did have to pay a little extra for the long haul, but that was expected. I mean, they had to drive all the way from Chicago to Dallas! All in all, I would definitely recommend Elite Mover to anyone who needs to move. They're the best!

I recently had an experience with Elite Mover, and let me tell you, it was not a good one. My 92-year-old grandmother was moving from Tampa to Kentucky, and we trusted Elite Mover to handle the entire move. This included packing her belongings, loading them onto the truck, driving them to Kentucky, unloading the truck, and putting the furniture where it belongs. However, from day one, there were mistakes made.

The manager who was initially in charge of the move was fired, so anything she said didn't matter. We were left with a new manager who didn't seem to care about our concerns. When they arrived in Kentucky and unloaded the belongings, we discovered that a wooden stand-up mirror was broken, a painting frame was broke, a bathroom garbage can was broken, as well as 2 custom frame pictures. The total value of the damaged items was roughly $1000.00.

We sent quotes from Michaels, along with photos showing what the items cost to replace. However, Elite Mover only authorized $27.60 for the damages. We were shocked and frustrated. When we tried to explain that we weren't offered any other insurance options, they didn't seem to care. David, our customer representative, kept insisting that everything he said was 100% true. But that was far from the truth.

David had promised us that "kid gloves would be used" and that there would be "expert packing from beginning to end." However, this was not the case. They packed three framed pictures in one box with no bubble wrap, even though bubble wrap was included in our contract. They packed everything incorrectly and did not stand by their work.

I would strongly advise against using Elite Mover for your moving needs. They are not trustworthy and do not care about their customers. On top of all this, I now have to tell my 92-year-old grandmother that it was her fault for listening to Dave and not choosing a different insurance option that he never offered her. It's a terrible situation, and I hope that no one else has to deal with a company like Elite Mover.

Elite Mover is the best moving company I have ever used. I recently moved and the weather was terrible, it rained all day. I was given a time window of 12-3pm for the movers to arrive. At around 2pm, I received a call from the company informing me that the movers would be delayed due to the rain. I was worried that my move would be postponed, but then I received another call at 3:30pm telling me that a 4-person crew was available for 4pm. I was happy that they informed me of the delay and appreciated the heads-up.

The movers were great! They were quick, respectful of my property, and explained what they were doing. I even had a storage unit at another location that they were able to empty quickly. However, there was a setback when the moving truck was involved in a car accident on the way to my new home. They called me and informed me of the situation and told me that they stopped the clock on my move time. When they finally arrived at my place 1.5 hours later, they were again very efficient in getting everything carried in. I have a lot of big furniture and the movers were careful and respectful. They asked where to take each box as they brought them in and even put my bed back together for me!

Elite Mover is an excellent moving company. They kept me aware and up-to-date with changes and were fast and efficient. I was their third move that day (in the rain) and other than the inconvenience of the car accident, the guys never skipped a beat. They were able to get me into my new home without any issues.

Elite Mover is the real deal! They did an amazing job moving my two separate households into one single family residence. When I first called, the representative was super helpful and walked me through a detailed list to ensure that all of my furniture and household items were accounted for in the estimate. She was upfront about the fact that it was just an estimate and even discussed some of the circumstances that could increase my costs, like multiple stops, stairs, poorly packed items, buying boxes on the day of the move, weather, etc. She even gave me some suggestions for comparing the various companies I was contacting for bids. After making several calls to other movers, I decided to go with Elite.

On the day of the move, I was given a window between 7am and 9am for the movers to arrive. At 7:15am, four men were already at my door, ready to get to work. And let me tell you, these guys worked tirelessly and literally non-stop for 12 hours and two stops later, without any incident, delay or complications. They wrapped and taped every single wood and upholstered item beyond recognition and worked neatly and efficiently with excellent communication throughout the process. I was really impressed with their professionalism and dedication to getting the job done right.

Finally, after everything was moved in, I was asked to check the truck to confirm that all of my belongings were removed. Then, each line item on the final invoice was reviewed with me in detail prior to requesting final payment. I really appreciated this attention to detail and it made me feel like they truly cared about my satisfaction.

Overall, I have to say that I loathe moving with a passion that is difficult to articulate politely, but Elite Movers made this experience bearable. They were friendly, efficient, and professional throughout the entire process. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who is looking for a reliable and trustworthy moving company. Great Experience with Elite Mover

I gotta say, I had a great experience with Elite Mover. The sales rep, Byron, was super helpful and informative throughout the whole move. At first, I was a little worried because I saw some bad reviews, but Byron assured me that it was a different moving company with the same name. Phew!

On moving day, we had a guy named Yony who packed up all our furniture. Let me tell you, we were living in a building with no elevator and three flights of stairs. But Yony and his buddy did a smooth job of packing everything up and even helped us with some extra stuff we couldn't manage on our own.

We were moving from Cincinnati to Seattle and didn't have a forwarding address yet. Elite told us it would take about three weeks for our stuff to get to us once we gave them the address. But we asked if they could speed it up, and somehow they managed to get everything to us within a week of moving into our new place. Impressive!

Now, there were a few small items that got damaged in transit, but Elite said they would help us claim it with the insurance company. Speaking of insurance, make sure you get some! Elite's insurance covers by weight, not value, so it's a good idea to get some independent insurance if you don't have homeowners or renters insurance.

All in all, Elite was great. They gave us detailed instructions and everything was done just as they said it would be. I would definitely recommend them to anyone!

I recently used Elite Mover for a local move from Naperville to Chicago and I must say, I was impressed with their service. We were moving from a high-floor 2 bed apartment in Naperville to a higher floor 1.5 bed Condo in Chicago. Our destination had a specific elevator window from 8am-12 noon, so we needed to make sure we were there on time.

Our consultant James Garcia was very helpful throughout the process. He scheduled the movers to arrive at our source between 6 and 7 am, which was perfect for us. We also needed an insurance certificate per the rules of our condo, which they emailed over to the property manager. James was always quick to answer my calls and get back to me with details. He even advised me to get some of my own packing materials like mattress bags so that I could pay less than what they would charge if we used their materials.

On the day of the move, the movers called at 5:45 and arrived promptly at 6:15 am. I was pleasantly surprised, I had not expected them to show up by 7. They were very efficient and packed everything carefully. They were swift at moving even the largest of items from inside the apartment to the elevator in one go. Everything was in the truck by 7:40. They arrived in Chicago by 9 am which is good for rush hour traffic. Moved everything up, unpacked and took all of their blankets and wrapping material down by 9:50, and were gone by 10am. Our door person said it was the fastest move she had ever seen.

They had given me an original estimate of 6.5 hrs but finished everything in 3.75 hrs, which was amazing. The final cost was just over half of what they quoted me. Their hourly rate was already much better than all the other reputable, established businesses I could find online. I could not have asked for anything more.

I highly recommend Elite Mover for anyone who needs a reliable and efficient moving service. Thank you James and Elite team!

Elite Movers did a great job delivering all our stuff to our new home in Arizona. They kept their promise and delivered everything within 10 days of our first available delivery date. I don't understand why some people had issues with their delivery dates, because if you understand the terms of their delivery time frame then you won't have anything to complain about. The delivery estimate given by the company is 10-14 days from YOUR first available delivery date, which means the first available date that you will be there to receive the delivery. Getting our stuff within 10 days from a big move like Chicago to Arizona is a big accomplishment for the company.

The quality of this company is top-notch. They delivered our stuff at 10:30 PM on a Monday night, the night before my husband had a flight out. When the movers called me and told me they will most likely come to deliver on Monday but it might have to be Tuesday because they had a lot of deliveries, I told them to try their best if they could to deliver everything on Monday since my husband had a flight on Tuesday morning and if they didn't come on Monday that would mean my husband would have to miss or cancel his flight. Amazingly, the guys made it out on Monday night, even at 10:30 because of my husband's flight. These guys must have been working since 7-8 in the morning delivering people's stuff everywhere and they still made it out to our house after working all day.

For such a big move, out of all our furnishings only 2-3 things were broken. Minor things. Part of our coffee table leg was broken, and one of our plastic storage containers. But I am still happy with this move considering the distance and the amount of stuff we had.

As customers, we have to have realistic expectations of what a move entails. It's the nature of any move, with so many handlers and transportation in a truck that something will get damaged somewhere.

The things that mattered to us, our big screen TV, computer monitors, our sound system, and my big life-size teddy bear all came unhurt :) :)

Overall, we are happy with this company and had a good experience. We definitely appreciate their customer service and care and dedication for their customers. If you have any questions, just ask James and he will give you honest answers and help you set realistic expectations. Then you are all set :)

I had a really bad experience with Elite Mover. I mean, it was just terrible. I've never written a review before, but I just had to let people know how bad it was. Moving is always stressful, but this was just ridiculous. They were so unprofessional and overpriced. I feel like I got ripped off. And get this, they're not even a real moving company! They're just a broker company that partners with other movers. They didn't even tell me that when I got a quote over the phone.

When I called Elite, I told them what I had to move and they gave me an estimate based on that. I thought I might even pay less than the estimate because I was getting rid of some stuff, but nope. I ended up paying double the estimate, plus an additional fee that was supposed to guarantee my stuff would be there by a certain day. The guy who picked up my stuff was so slow and unprofessional. He didn't even know how to calculate the rate and tried to overcharge me. And then, when I tried to pay him, his Venmo and Cashapp wouldn't work. I had to Venmo one of his friends to accept the money for him. It was so sketchy.

A week later, he called me trying to get more money. I had to spend over an hour on the phone with him and someone at Elite just to clear things up and avoid paying extra fees that I wasn't supposed to be paying. And then, when I called the delivery guy the day before my scheduled delivery, he told me he was in Texas and had to go to New Mexico all of a sudden. Then he told me his truck broke down and my stuff was going to be late. He kept telling me it would be there in a couple days every day for a week straight, and it still didn't arrive.

My stuff was delivered more than a week late, and it was like pulling teeth trying to get the delivery guy to give me an update on when he would get here. I had to call Elite every single day to get an estimate on when my stuff would arrive, and most of the time they had no answers for me. They were so difficult to get a hold of over the phone. And when I did get a hold of someone, they were either rude or not helpful.

The delivery guy finally showed up, and when he did, I had another issue with figuring out how to pay him. He had been blocked from receiving Venmo and Cashapp payments. He refused to take a personal check, and he wouldn't accept PayPal for "personal reasons." We had to spend a lot of time on the phone again with someone at Elite to clear up the issue. And throughout the whole conversation, the delivery guy was trying to get them to charge me extra money for things he shouldn't have been charging me for.

They did give me a partial refund for the expedited fee, but it was less than a fourth of the total cost to move. I don't think that makes up for the rip off that this moving company is. You couldn't pay me to use Elite Mover again. There are so many other more professional and reliable companies out there that charge way less. Beware and do not use this company!

So, I was checkin' out Elite Mover's website, ya know, elitemover.com, and I was lookin' to get a free quote for movin' my stuff. I filled out all the info they asked for, like my name, email, phone number, and where I'm movin' from and to. But when I clicked submit, I didn't get a free quote like they promised. I was pretty disappointed, ya know? I mean, why offer a free quote if you're not gonna give it to me?

But then, I decided to give 'em another chance. I called 'em up and talked to a real person. They were super friendly and helpful, and they gave me a quote right then and there. It was a little higher than I was hopin' for, but I guess that's just how it goes sometimes.

Anyway, I ended up goin' with Elite Mover for my move, and I gotta say, I was pretty impressed. The guys who came to pack up my stuff were really efficient and careful with my things. They even wrapped up my TV and my grandma's antique vase so they wouldn't get damaged.

The move itself went pretty smoothly too. They showed up on time and got everything loaded up pretty quickly. They even helped me take apart my bed and put it back together at my new place.

Overall, I'd say Elite Mover did a pretty good job. The only downside was the whole free quote thing on their website, but I guess that's not a big deal in the grand scheme of things. If you're lookin' for a reliable movin' company, I'd definitely recommend 'em.

So, we hired Elite Mover to move our stuff on Feb 8th. We were expecting to get our things delivered to our new home in a few days. But, guess what? They didn't even tell us that they couldn't find a driver until Feb 27th. That's almost a month without our stuff! We've been trying to get in touch with them, but the communication has been so unclear. It's been a real hassle for me and my family.

I had a really bad experience with Elite Mover. They cancelled my move within 24 hours of the scheduled date and didn't even bother to give me a new date. I was left stranded and had to scramble to find another moving company. To make matters worse, they promised to refund my $1700 deposit but after a month, they claimed they were having trouble reversing the charge. They advised me to dispute the charge with my credit card company, but when I did, they denied the dispute and my credit card company couldn't reverse the charge either.

I was really frustrated and decided to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau (BBB). But instead of trying to resolve the issue, Elite Mover accused me of violating my contract by trying to reverse the charge on my card. This was really unfair because I was told by three different people that I would get a refund and two different people instructed me to dispute the charge with my credit card company.

It's been a few months now and I still haven't received my refund. I'm really disappointed with the way Elite Mover handled this situation. Not only did they leave me in a horrible situation with the last minute cancellation, but they also failed to keep their promise of refunding my deposit. I would not recommend this company to anyone and advise you to look elsewhere for your moving needs.
