Samsung Complaint

I called Samsung to ask about a range I purchased. The warranty was only one year. The control panel has to be replaced at a cost from one hundred eighty up to three hundred dollars. I feel this is cheating me. This company seems to make it hard for anyone who purchases their products. I understand the warranty is expired. This company is a joke. I tried calling the customer support number and they hung up the phone when I was talking to them about the problem. Icaleed again and got the same treatment.

Samsung Samsung kitchen appliances

We recently remodeled out kitchen and installed all new Samsung appliances from Home Depot. They are the worst appliances I have ever had in my 50 years as a homeowner. The fridge has already needed service twice and still operates inconsistently. The dishwasher "works" but does not clean even the mildest of foods from the dishes. They actually tried to tell me that I was the cause of the problem because I was pre-rinsing the dishes. The stove controls do not work properly. The microwave controls do not work properly. I have recently been researching and finding that even retail outlets are advising potential customers to avoid Samsung appliances. I only wish I had done this research beforehand.

Desired outcome: Give me all my money back and let me buy a new set of appliances made by someone else.

Samsung Samsung service and support

S22 Ultra device was disabled October 26th by Samsung. The message on the device shows the following: "Samsung temporarily disabled this device because it was lost in transport or there is an outstanding balance due for failure to meet trade-in terms. To unlock, check the email used at the time of purchase for a message sent by Samsung for the next steps. Your device will be unlocked the following business day after a successful payment."

Upon contacting Samsung on October 26th, we were told because we did not turn in the old device under the trade in agreement, an additional $375 fee was needed to resolve the issue and then the S22 phone would be reactivated. Payment was made to Samsung Financing on October 27th in the amount of $375. We waited the 24 hour period Samsung stated the phone would need in order to be reactivated. We have since called every day with numerous transfers from department to department and hung up on by 2 supervisors when questioned about the account. This device and it's line is used as a primary business line therefore has directly effected the income of our business due to not being able to use the phone. We have been tossed around between Samsung Financing, TD Bank and Samsung Support with NO ONE YET TO RESOLVE THIS MATTER! We have also called corporate headquarters in New Jersey with failed attempts stating that the cellular customer is not accepting calls at this time. We are now still waiting to have the phone reactivated after 6 days of promises from Samsung that have gone no where. If the phone is not reactivated by the end of today, we will be sending the phone back and requesting any and all payments to be reimbursed back to us. A consumer complaint will be filed with the BBB as well as with the Consumer Affairs department!

Samsung Defective design of control knobs on samsung gas ranges

I have a Samsung gas range in which over the last few months all five of the control knobs have cracked and fell off. This is a major problem in the bad design of the knobs which is made ofvery thin plastic that will not withstand the heat from range over time. The internet is full of this complaint from hundreds of owners of this problem. I contacted Samsung abort this problem and requested free replacement of all five knobs. I was assigned a case number [protected] but their response was they would not replace them. These knobs should not crack and fall off after a 4 years. I have had a lot of ranges in my life and have had the knobs fall off. Please help me and other owners with this probem.

My Samsung Ice Maker quit after purchasing refrigerator from Home Depot on Aug 31, 2015.

I recently subscribed to the Samsung Ice Maker Dispute Site.

I recently purchased a Samsung Refrigerator from Home Depot. The Ice Maker quit working

about two months ago. I previously had two shelves just break. I reordered some shelves from Amazon and

they work great.

I can't get the ice maker to work. The water does NOT go into the tray. I defrosted the freezer and

it did not help.

Samsung Flip z 3

Dear Sir/ Madam,

I have purchased the samsung flip z 3 in June 2022, and a few months later in september 2022 the screen had formed bubbles and cracked in the middle where it folds, i was told it had been misused even though it had not and i ended up paying partially to fix it, only to find that now a month later, the same problem had appeared. I have been back and forth between different branches and more so on the phine over 6 times with the call center and complaints department to escalate this issue and find an alternative solution other than fixing the screen again as i dont want to just fix it. I am asking for a trade in given this will most probably happen again for the third time in less than 6 months. They have no approved and are not giving me alternatives other than giving it in for a second time in 4 months to have all my data erased again in order to be fixed. Again, i am not interedted in fixing it as it is apparent there is a problem with this model itself also apparent from online reviews. So i am asking for a trade in please and for someone from samsung to take this upon him or herself and contact me to follow up as no one has ever returned a phone call that i made to samsung.

Samsung Trade in promotions

I have been chatting and calling samsung for months about my trade in product. I am incredibly frustrated that a large corporation is stealing my trade in product and not following up regarding my request. The customer service is atrocious and I just keep getting sent emails that are not making sense and receiving no support whatsoever.

I sent in a trade in product (an apple watch 4) on August 30th and was received by September 6 (as per my tracking number) by someone named Phong at Samsung. I did not hear back for months until I received an email saying that Samsung did not receive the device. I had to call and chat to get this resolved. I would gladly send the chats if this page would allow me. Now I am being told that the device condition is bad and that it is being returned to me. There are absolutely no major flaws on the device, but I am being told there are. I have not received the device back yet, but am now very worried it will not be returned or not be in the condition that I sent it in. It took a ridiculous amount of time for it to be assessed and multiple chats. If I had known it would be rejected sooner, I wouldn't have kept the watch I traded it for. I am sending this to document my concerns and will see if my watch is returned in the same condition, I sent it or if at all. I definitely never intend to purchase from samsung again in the future and most definitely not take part in the trade in program.

Samsung 308l combi fridge/freezer metallic

I am writing to you to complain and seek redress regarding the service I have received from Samsung in respect of a Fridge/Freezer combination I bought on the 9 May 2019 in which the freezer drawer support has failed due to a latent defect. This is the first time I have ever had a problem with a Samsung appliance, and I am not happy with the service I have received in respect of this complaint. Started with small cracks which were not interfering with the slide of the draw, then I noticed the defect was getting worse, the hard foam forming the bracket was starting to break off on both sides of the draw. The middle draw is now resting on the bottom draw as the brackets have almost crumbled. Filter Connection sent out a technician to inspect the fridge. A report together with pictures was sent to Samsung Technical Team. This was rejected by Samsung saying it was due to negligence. As all the other parts of the appliance are in good working order, I can only assume this is a manufacturing defect due to the wall thickness of the plastic mould being too thin. The charge of negligence levelled against me by Samsung, should rather be levelled at their quality assurance/quality control department at the plant where this was manufactured. I have been a user of Samsung Appliances for years and this is the first time I have ever had a problem and I am astonished at the lack of support. I believe this to be an exception circumstance and the problem is due to a latent defect that originated in the manufacturing/assembly process.

Samsung 2021 75" qled smart tv with one connect box

I want to exercise my rights under New Jersey State Law to receive a FULL REFUND!

Samsung has tried to send someone to my house and NO TECHNICIAN will come out through SAMSUNG CARE EXTENDED WARRANTY!

The TV is only 15 months old, and it does not work anymore. I have a 3 year extended warranty from Samsung called "Samsung Care"...

I have contacted Samsung numerous times with NO HELP.

We keep going around and around with NOTHING EVER GETTING RESOLVED.

The definition of INSANITY is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result! Does this mean that SAMSUNG THE MANUFACTURER IS INSANE?

I have been issued 6 or 7 ticket numbers (I have lost track).

I am paying for the TV on Samsung Financing. New Jersey State Law says if I am paying on an installment contract, I must give the company ample time to resolve the problem. It is now over a MONTH; I have no use of my TV. I pay CABLEVISION Monthly, and I cannot watch my shows!

Samsung Care+ does not to seem to care about anything at all!

I am a VERY UNHAPPY CUSTOMER!

I am betting I will get NO REPLY from this COMPLAINT, so please surprise me and pick up the phone and get my TV fixed!

Please NOTE; I spent two weeks trying to communicate to Samsung that I have an extended warranty. After TEXTING a screen shot of the warranty coverage they finally agreed I have coverage.

But they are either unwilling or their organizational ability is so poor it is pathetic. I can NOT keep waiting and keep getting a new ticket number because this is totally ridiculous!

If I cannot be satisfied, I will seek a judgement against Samsung to correct this absolute nightmare! I will seek a FULL REFUND including sales tax PLUS DAMAGES (paying my cable bill because I cannot watch TV.

Desired outcome: I want my TV to work.Is that so much to ask?After spending $6,000 to buy a TV that only worked for 15 months is NOT ACCEPTABLE!Please tell me what department, I can contact to start litigation.

Samsung Samsung washer

My machine is 2 yrs old. When it was 6 months old the drum dropped off of the supports. They repaired under warranty. 6 months later same problem.. repair done under warranty. On 5/20/22 happened again repaired underwarranty. On 10/2/22 happened again. I requested replacement or refund. Refused to repair. On longer under warranty. This machine is dangerous. Sounded like a bomb exploded, water everywhere had to turn it off with water on floor and dryer still going. Scared I was going to be electruted! Samsung does not care!@! I'll never buy another Samsung product!

Desired outcome: I want a refund... had to purchase new machinery

Samsung Samsung smart television

After watching television the night before, the following morning I turned on my Samsung Television and it would not come on.

This television is less than two years old but the warranty from Samsung has expired.

I called Samsung customer service and after asking me to un-plug and re-plug in the TV, the rep told me there was nothing that can be done, besides having a tech come in to service it. I asked her how much that would cost and she told me she did not know!

She Did Not Know!

What she told me was that there is NO ONE in the Samsung corporation that can help me. I certainly hope that is not true.

If it is I will never buy another Samsung product and I will file a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

Samsung refrigerator ice maker

The ice maker stops working, and an inspection shows a build-up of ice in the tray assembly. It appears that water can't flow into the ice tray. I've checked that there is water supply, and the water filter is clean. I removed the ice tray and am trying to allow the ice build-up to melt. I saw on tv that this was a common problem with this brand, and am hoping for a resolution that other owners may have been presented. I own other Samsung products and have not experienced problems with the brand.

Samsung Samsung Galaxy A53 5G cell phone

The phone advertises fast charging, but they do not tell you that you have to purchase a new charger because it is not supplied with the phone. For the price of the phone, it you would think that everything needed would be included not just a cord that plugs into nothing you own. This is my third Samsung phone and the only one that came with no charger. Now another with another different style plug, this time on the charger.

Desired outcome: Please provide the charger for fast charging if you advertise the phone for fast charging.

Samsung Microwave under warranty not replaced

Samsung technician after several days cannot fix my Microwave under 1 year warranty. Customer service will not replace same unit. This model is more expensive than a year ago and they are not willing to compensate. I have to accept a coupon for less than cost and pay extra for tax and shipping. Not to mention inconvenience for no microwave, time off work for repairman, disposable of defective microwave. How is this a warranty?

Samsung Refrigerator

I bought a home in 2019 that had brand-new Samsung appliances. It is now 2022 and the fridge's freezer stopped working. I had to throw away $100 worth of food, which is sad considering people are going hungry--I couldn't even donate it because it was destroyed overnight when the defective freezer conked out. I called Samsung, they sent a tech who said freon was leaking and that the fridge will stop cooling. The tech said he had to order a part and would be back the following week--an appointment was scheduled. He never showed up. Then I found out Samsung is not honoring their 5-year warranty for closed-system repairs. They don't want to and claim they don't have parts. They don't have parts for a 3-year-old fridge? It is leaking freon and has been for two weeks as I patiently waited for service diagnostics and the repair call that never came. I can't keep anything in the fridge or freezer for the last two weeks. Samsung told me to throw it in the garbage and buy a new one. No warranty is honored. How is this okay? I have read hundreds of people complain of the same thing. Why are we letting this happen in our country? This is a foreign business that needs to be above-board and honor warranties. Why are we letting this happen? Why are our elected leaders allowing this? Samsung is a corrupt, criminal enterprise--they knowingly sold thousands of fridges to innocent consumers and we are all suffering for it. I have a freon leak in my house--we are getting sick and my only recourse after being lied to and made to wait two weeks for a repair that wasn't going to be performed is to go to Home Depot and beg for delivery of whatever they have in stocks which will cost me thousands! Samsung must be held accountable for the harm they are causing American consumers and if they behave dishonorably must be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Their customer service is abominable--I believe they hire the nastiest people they can find because they know most of us will just give up fighting. I work two jobs and I am exhausted. I don't have time to sit on the phone all day and argue. I need cold food to eat. Samsung must be held accountable. Do not buy their appliances--you are asking for pain and suffering if you do. They do not care about consumers. They only care about profits.

Desired outcome: I want $3,000--to pay for a new fridge, the health issues caused, and the nightmare I have been put through! I want this toxic, leaking fridge removed from my home ASAP.

Samsung Samsung not honouring washing machine warrantee

Samsung not honouring washing machine Warrantee.

In August 2015 I bought a Samsung front loader washing machine with a 10-year warrantee on the wash motor. The machine broke down in August 2021 with a wash motor failure. The Samsung service centre (Liptronics) came out with the wrong motor and had to return later with the correct motor. The main PC board was also replaced as it was most probably damaged by the failed motor. I had to pay R2000 for the pc board and R700 for the call out. The replacement motor also failed. After that the service centre issued a so called "insurance report" and informed me that spare parts for the machine are no longer available. I filed numerous complaints with all the different channels at Samsung without any proper feedback. All I wanted them to do was repairing my machine that is still under warrantee. Today [protected]) more than a year later they informed me they are not going to repair my machine as the machine is "dead". They already helped as far as they are prepared by issuing the so-called insurance report. I paid a lot of laundry cost and the cost mentioned above. This is pathetic service from Samsung, and it is unbelievable that a "big brand " Company like Samsung blatantly not honouring their Warrantee.

Samsung False advertising

I have a 55" Class TU700D 4K Crystal UHD HDR Smart TV which was received as a gift from my children on 10/1/22. I chose the TV because on the box it says it works with Alexa. I have followed the instructions on the owners manual to no avail. When I call Samsung Customer Service (twice) they say that my TV is not compatible with Alexa, however the box clearly states it works with Alexa, Google, and Apple AirPlay. I find this to be false advertising. All of my products are Samsung and I have never encountered an issue. Please advise as I will end up taking it back to the store.

Household Refrigerator

I am extremely unhappy with the refrigerator! It has required service three times and must pay $150 each time to have it corrected. The service technician told us this is a manufacturing issue.

The insulation around the compressor and fan is not doing its job. It is holding in the condensation so every couple of weeks it freezes up and the fan starts making a very loud rattling noise. The refrigerator gets warm.

The appliance is positioned in a large, clean, air-conditioned kitchen in a private home.

I must demand and expect this item to be working in its proper order. It is an expensive item, and we are unable and will not have the expense to replace it. I’m attaching photos.

Samsung Unsatisfied customer services response

I made an online purchase on the 22-Sep-2022 at 11.13 P.M Kuala Lumpur time. I bought 27" IPS panel monitor with bezel-less design, AMD Freesync and 75hz refresh rate ,Black , LS27R350FHEXXM.This was during a flash sales and the product cost after discount was MYR 479.40. The payment went through and my account was debited . But for some reason i noticed after a few days that i did not get an email confirmation from Samsung, i only got email confirmation that the payment went through .And i was given a reference ID -MY220922-[protected]_[protected]. I sent an email to email address shown in the payment confirmation email "[protected]@samsung.com " on the 27th of September 2022 at 5.22 pm GMT +8 , with the payment confirmation email and asked the status of my order .When i did not get a response or acknowledged email i call the customer service number [protected] on the 29th of September at 2.24pm GMT +8. i spoke with the customer service for 25 mins and 16 secs with a conclusion to check for my order and revert . I was replied via email on the 30th of September 2022 at 9.48 AM GMT +8 , that my order could not be seen and my payment will be refunded. I replied on the same 30th of September at 10,26 am GMT+8 expressing my displeasure with the response, as i did not ask for refund and i wish for the product to be delivered to me. Samsung replied again on the 30th of September at 4.48pm GMT + 8 , stating the same response given that my payment will be refunded . The response is quite an insult to me, How did my payment go through if i did not make the order ? would now concluded that Samsung website is a scam ? Please i need Samsung to uphold a simple contractual agreement when payment as been made . Samsung internal website issue should not be blamed on the customer .

Desired outcome: I would like for the refund to be stopped and the product sent to my delivery address .
