They used the business phone number when the cell connection failed, which seemed a bit odd to me. But, being the trusting person I am, I let them into my computer.

That's when things started to go downhill. They somehow got into my online banking and transferred $3000 from my equity account into my checking account. They claimed it was an advance so they could catch a crook when I sent them $3000 via wire transfer. I didn't think much of it at the time, but later I realized what they had done.

To make matters worse, all the people who talked to me had Indian accents, but used very Anglo-Saxon names. It just didn't add up. I was pretty upset about the whole thing and would give TechXavvy a minus 10 if I could.
