I recently ordered on line some tires from Sams Club and they arrived
with no issues however I made an appointment to have them installed for Monday the 16th of Decemeber at 11am. While I was told this would take an hour or so. We left the car at Sams overnight. My tires where not installed until today (12/17) at about 12noon. The person installing had serveral issues first we had to get a wheel lock that was missing and so we did. Then we had to take a wrench in so that the mechanic could take the bolts off but he could not take these off so my friend had to step in and he was able to remove them. Something that was suppose to take 1 hour went on for 24 hrs.
I have been a loyal Sam's member for many years and have never has a negative experience. I probably will continue to shop at Sam's but I will stay away from the tire department as I am unconfrotable with there installation expertise.
I hope that this complaint encourages Sams to review the tire installation process and competency of employees.
