Ruby Tuesday employee - erica - south attleboro location

Hello. My partner and I recently visited your location in South Attleboro. 12/19 at around 9pm. We decided we were going to kill some time - order some food and coffee to end our lovely evening. Our waitress, Erica, didn't seem thrilled we where taking our time. However, we ignored it and even left a standard tip for the hard earned money we spent. We were unaware of any time limits at Ruby Tuesday's, or that we are obligated to tip according to time spent at your restaurant. To top it off, we had mutual friends on Facebook who happened to see this lovely post she made in regards to our gratuity. This is not how a customer should be treated and not how an employee should slander a customer as well as your buisness. We will never eat at this location again.

Ruby Tuesday child's hand burnt

When the server brought out our main course to the table my husband was trying to move it out of the way from my son, my son reached for the mashed potatoes. They burnt the last three fingers on my son's hand. So bad that he had second degree burns and we had to take him to the hospital. Yes they bagged up our food and was going to make our desserts (chocolate goblet) but I told them there was no since because we were going to the hospital and they would melt. It wasn't until my husband came back after we left the hospital showed them the pictures and demanded our money back. I am very upset of how they handled things and I am extremely upset that my mashed potatoes was that hot!

Ruby Tuesday entry

I went to restaurant in Latham, NY and was told with a quarter full restaurant there would be a 20 minute wait and they were down in staff. I asked if we could at least be seated and just start with salad bar and was told no, since they didn't have enough servers! Had to leave with my two children, while first needing to bring son to bathroom! This was a mistake since the bathroom was disgusting! Glad I was turned away at the door, if the bathroom was a sign of the care for the food, it would t of been good!

Ruby Tuesday service

We chose to eat at Ruby Tuesday in Johnson City, TN after experiencing excellent service on recent travels. We arrived at 5:45 pm placed our order and preceded to the salad bar, after 2 trips to the salad bar the waitress waiting the table behind us noticed our drinks were empty and offered to put the order in. We also had to flag down someone other than our waiter to ask about getting some cheese biscuits. By now an hour had passed our waiter, Evan H. had not been back to our table, and we still had not received our entrees. After flagging down 3 different people Evan came by and seemed shocked that we had not received our entrees. Would he have not known this if he had checked on our table within that hour? Our food finally came and my well done steak was well done on one side and the other half was not. Evan our waiter offered us another but knew that we were in a hurry because when we asked the 3 other people about our order we let them know that we to be somewhere and we were going to be late and so then he offered us a side, we declined since it had taken us an hour to get our food to begin with. As we were leaving my fiance asked to speak to the manager and spoke with Josh who did not apologize just told us to come to him next time and he would make sure that our next experience would be as excellent as the ones on our travels.
Needless to say I don't think that we plan on visiting the Johnson City location any time soon. The sad part is that before we waited an hour on our food we were discussing that we should come there more often.
We know that it was busy but our waiter did not even know that we had not gotten our food and we had to enlist other employees to get refills for our drinks and to get the complimentary biscuits.
Thank you for your time.

Ruby Tuesday food and service

On 12/15/2016 I attended Ruby Tuesday in Fayetteville, Ga. after work around 6:30pm. My daughter and I were immediately seated. The waitress came took our orders. I ordered Chicken Fresco, double mash potatoes and the garden bar. Garden bar was delicious. I got the Chicken Fresco the lean part of the chicken was properly prepared the fatty part of the chicken was partially raw. The outside was done the inside wasn't. I had already eaten half of the chicken. I told the waitress and she said she would let the manager know. The waitress came back to the table and said they would take the Chicken Fresco off my tab but I would have to pay for the Garden Bar, I agreed. When the tab was brought to the table I was charged $9.99 for the Garden Bar. I called the waitress back over and ask her why do I have to pay $9.99 when the entire meal was $12.99. My daughter said why hasn't the manager come over to apologize. After a while the manager comes over and we tell her the situation and she asked me how much do I think I should be charged. I said to add the salad bar is $2.99 she made statement insinuating I had eaten most which I had not. I got the new bill and was charged $3.99 for the Garden Bar. I don't think I should have been charged for the meal at all since I didn't get a chance to finish my meal. The waitress was nice the Manager could have handled the situation better.

Ruby Tuesday gm's attitude towards hiring process

I recently applied for a server position at my Local Ruby Tuesday. It started out normal, I went in to check on the status of my application and had a first interview on the spot. It was a basic and quick interview and went pleasantly enough. I was told that I would have to have an interview with the GM and it was set for Thursday December 8th at 3:30pm. I arrived shortly before the interview and was told that the GM was busy and I was interviewed again by another manager. He was a good guy and it was once again fairly pleasant, and I was put on for one more interview at 4 pm on Friday the 9th. I was patient and excited for my opportunity to be a server at Ruby Tuesday. I arrive promptly at 4 that day. And there I sat. Now I had made plans to get my siblings at 5, figuring that it would probably be at most a 30 to 45 minute interview. And that was an extreme seeing as the other two didn't take longer than 15 minutes. I waited for the GM for 45 minutes, sitting there, and waiting. Finally she came to my table and is so rushed that the whole things takes 5 minutes. I felt like she was judging me and went on a near tangent when she asked why I was interested in working front of house and I responded with my want to eventually own a restaurant. Mind you I am 19, I am not sure exactly when I will start a restaurant or how I plan on financing it, yet she seemed determined to get this information out of me. Spending most of our rushed interview asking how I would plan on financing the venture. Afterwards she asked for my recent work history. I start with 2 restaurants where I worked BOH and then my Job as a sales rep for a company, here she cuts me off and says "I thought you worked in restaurants for 6 years" to which I reply that I had worked primarily in restaurants with a slight break for working sales for a maximum of 6 months. Then she asked for strictly my work experience with restaurants to which I am rushed through and then shooed off with no assurance on whether I got the job or not. I am friends with2 people who work at Ruby Tuesday so the Sunday after this interview I come in roughly an hour and a half before closing. The server was awesome and despite the long wait time for the food I enjoyed the place and experience. I immediately asked for the GM when I was seated. First I had the regular manager come out to see me, and I asked about whether I got the position or not, he then tells me he will get the GM. Five minutes later he comes out and tells me she is on her way. And once more I sat. I sat until 30 minutes after close waiting for her to talk to me. I was with my friend who was currently employed at this location, whom I was eating dinner with, and the GM walked to her and talked to her not once, not twice, but three times while blatantly ignoring me, she also talked to tables around me and refused to look me in the eye, even though I had called out for her a few times as she walked by my table and talked to my friend at my table. I finally left without ever talking with her and now I am upset at the degree of disrespect that was displayed towards me by your general manager staff at the location in Myrtle Beach Tanger outlet.

Ruby Tuesday unsatisfactory food and service

About a week ago, December 2016, I went to my local Ruby Tuesday location, Bowling Green KY. I took my girlfriend out for a casual dinner and we did not leaved with the experience that we have come to expect from Ruby's. We ordered an appetizer and each got an entree' with drinks and a dessert. We both had to send our entree's back as they came back cold. Approximately 10 minutes later the food came back out with an unfriendly attitude and just as cold as before. We continued to eat the food and go on with our night. I'm typically not one to complain about my experiences with food but something has to be done about this trip. We have enjoyed Ruby's environment and food many times but they did not live up to their name this time. If there is something you could do, it would be much appreciated.

Thanks

My WKU student/daughter and I wanted to eat a great meal and the salad bar. When we walked in, the salad bar was a total disaster. Food was everywhere. There was no attendant present at the salad bar the whole time we were there. My daughter ordered green beans as a side item along with her steak. We were told much later...no green beans. I ordered lobster with my steak and was told much later...no lobster. Substituted with a grilled shrimp skewer. Our food arrived, but no shrimp skewer. The shrimp arrived 10 mins later - no skewer, but just 4 shrimp on a tiny platter. To make a long story short, the messy salad bar was still delicious, our steak dinners were great, but just couldn't get over 4 shrimp thrown on a small plate. The manager needs to hire more staff, keep an attendant watching/cleaning the salad bar, and keep the menu items ordered in advance. There's no excuse for not having lobster. Isn't that a money maker? Anyway, we will go back and I do hope things will be better. Awesome servers! It's not their fault.

Ruby Tuesday food/service

I Was brought the wrong order, when i asked the waitress she said she did put in the wrong order...when they brought back the correct order it looked "funny" I asked for Broccoli with cheese...it was all mashed together the broccoli was not fresh like I'm used to it being when i order it, and the lobster tails were out side of the shells and mushy, and I asked for biscuits twice and both times they were brought to me burned and hard when i watched the waitress give everyone else around me fresh warm soft biscuits. I normally don;t complain but this time I felt I had to.

Ruby Tuesday lack of food and service

The following complaints are in reference to your store at:

2023 Village Dr, Leeds, AL 35094

My husband & I stopped by this restaurant for dinner last night, Sunday 12/11/16. We are new to this area and this was our first time to try out the Ruby Tuesday in our new neighborhood.

Complaints are as follows:

1) The person that seated us came back to take our drink orders because she stated that 'our server was running behind'. When this same person brought us the glasses of water we ordered, mine was a mixture of lemonade and water. The glass was sent back for another, but we waited a good 15 minutes before this was taken care of.

2) The server assigned to us finally made her way around to us. We ordered our appetizer, philly cheese steak potstickers. We were ready to order our meal as well and I had picked one of the pasta dishes. I was told they were out of the pasta that goes in all their pasta dishes. So we told the server to make the order for the appetizer and come back since I would have to pick something else from the menu.

3) The appetizer arrived some time later, brought by yet another different employee. It was lukewarm at best...barely edible. But we were hungry, so we split the 5 little potstickers for $7.00.

4) And we waited again for our server to come back to take our order. This time, another employee, a male, came to take our order. Apparently, our server was still running behind. My husband decided on a hamburger and I would get the sirloin with a loaded baked potato & green beans. This server explained that they had not onion rings to go on the burger my husband ordered. I just looked at my husband and shook my head. We had been there over 30 minutes, eaten an almost cold appetizer, drank lemonade/water and been told that 2 of the entrees we ordered were either not available or would have something missing from them.

5) We expected at this point to see the manager...nope. We asked for our check, paid for our lukewarm appetizer and left. There were no apologies for the sloppy service and lack of ingredients for the food we ordered. There was no 'please let me get the manager to come speak with you' or 'let me comp your appetizer since we were not able to provide you proper service'...

6) Because of this first experience, we will never step foot in your Leeds, Alabama store again. This ranked up there at the top of all time worst restaurant experiences we have ever had.

7) At the very least, we expected an apology from the manager and comp for our appetizer. Now I know why all the other people around this area say not to go to Ruby Tuesdays. Yet we were willing to give your store a chance. Not anymore...and never again.

Sincerely,
Rebekah Brashier
Moody, Alabama

Ruby Tuesday a non gluten free meal

My gluten free son wanted the pasta, chicken, broccoli and parmesan sauce meal. The waitress asked the cook if we could substitute the pasta for gluten free pasta and also if the parmesan sauce was GF. She was told yes to both questions. Within 30 minutes of him finishing his meal he became violently ill. He was sick for more than 48 hours! The manager Judy told me when I called to complain that the sauce was in fact GF. I spoke to the general manager last evening and was told that in fact the parmesan sauce is in no way GF. While he apologized over and over, your cooks and your manager are not educated enough in GF foods, obviously. I am so disgusted over how much $ I spent there and all I got was a very sick child. How do you fix that? You can't! I will never bring him there again. Even though he loves your GF foods usually.

Ruby Tuesday service, food, entire experience

Generally I enjoy this chain, this particular location is terrible. When I entered, I was ignored for about 5 minutes. Finally I was seated, it took 15 min for anyone to bring a menu or acknowledge that I might want to see a menu. After 27 min, I was able to order. After 15 more minutes the manager brought my food and tossed it on the table and "There was a mix up on the kitchen" my steak was well done vise medium and very small. Never was I asked for a drink refill or if I needed anything. Dessert looked good, but I could not commit to more disappointment. Upon my departure, the manager was too busy on her phone at the hostess station to ask how my visit was. Terrible Restaurant!

Ruby Tuesday food

My daughter and I went for dinner last night. We loved the food we had the last time at the Clinton NC Ruby Tuesday's so we ordered it again in Fayetteville NC. First several of the wonderful biscuits were old and very hard. I had brussel sprouts that were very undercooked, and my daughters green beans were also very under cooked. We love tender crisp but not raw. We had he berry dessert and it was cold and the crust was difficult to cut through. We came back because we were expecting great food and were not at all happy!

Ruby Tuesday bad food

We have been eating at your restaurant for 14 years now and use to love the food. But it the past few years the quality of the food has gone down hill. We ate there again earlier this month, not good. My husband got the Chicken Fresco and I got the double chicken breast. My husband said his way a low OK and he is not a picky eater. I had the double chicken breast and it was one of the most tasteless things I have ever had. The bacon was nearly raw, the green beans were tough, half cooked and tasteless and it was some of the worst rice pilaf I have even had. Our service offered to get me some cooked bacon and I would like to know where you get bacon with no flavor ! So after this horrible meal I ordered dessert, big mistake. I ordered the Apple Crumble, no apples, no taste, one tiny scoop of ice cream, just a dish of backed dough. Obviously who ever created this recipe never had apple crumble . The chefs that are creating these recipe really need to try EATING them. I f they aren't full of cajun spices the have no taste at all.

Ruby Tuesday a supervisor

I'm making a complaint on Susan appelle at Ruby Tuesday store 2760 in Durham NC. I'm a transfer employee from that store to the Ruby Tuesday in orangeburg SC. While trying to do the transfer process the Ruby Tuesday spoke to 2 managers about my performance and personality and it was all praises. I'm referring to Barry womack and Odie mavinga. That's the GM and manager of that store. There was a delay in paperwork so the Ruby Tuesday in SC called back up there and spoke to another manager (Susan appelle) during that time Susan decided to slander my name and my integrity to this GM saying things like

Cont, she was high last time I saw her ""the draw was short every night I worked as a bartender " "I'm not a reliable worker"she went as far as to tell the manager that if she were him he shouldn't hire me. Now I have never recieved a write up for mishandling company funds or anything of such nature. So the assault on my character is very unjust and uncalled for. This is my job and respect my job and for her to throw a wrench in my transfer for no fathomable reason is very upsetting. She needs to be spoken to or repremanded for her behavior. If we all as workers have to be accountable for our actions she should too. This blatant disrespect on my character has stopped my process of working for your company because the manager wants to have another sit down with me to see what's going on and what's the problem. I'm not even sure what's the problem is and I'm flabbergasted by her behavior.

Went to Ruby Tuesday store #4458 today for lunch. The service was horrible and the food was gross. My girlfriend and I were so displeased with our experience. Was the biggest waste of money I have done in awhile. Ended up leaving not tipping and leaving over half of our meal. Will never return again. My servers name was Christy and her server number was 995.

Ruby Tuesday service and product

My husband and i usually go for lunch about once a week.. until now. Only reason i am writing is this is the 4th time in a row we have had bad service and food! This past time we got there at 11:40 and did not leave until 1:00! we were sat at the very back and i am guessing forgot about. we both ordered the smoky mtn chicken and when it came out you could tell it smelled off.. it was burnt to a crisp! Both of ours was inedible so we just ate our side item and sat for a very very long time to not have our drinks filled and apparently if you ask for the biscuits at the beginning they will NOT bring you them until after you finish your food! There excuse is always it will be another 8 more minutes on the biscuits we just put them in the oven! So needless to say we never get out biscuits! For the past 4 times our visit has been awful and usually our wait time ends up being wayy too long and something has been messed up with our food also! Our last visit was on December 1st at the simpsonville SC location and i do mean LAST!
