I applied for a cash out equity loan in mid January. I submitted all required documents and my appraisal was completed successfully. I had adequate equity in my property and my credit score was 750+. My complaint is that the Loan Advisor posed that he was in California to establish rapport since I live on the west coast. In actuality, he is located in Indiana. Which is fine but do not like being misled in order to close a deal. Secondly, there was very little transparency or communication while processing this loan. Finally by February 19th and again on February 26th, I requested to withdraw my equity loan application. I emailed this request to my Loan Advisor as well as the vice president of the company. I also left two voice mails, and sent a text. It is now March 3rd, and there is still has been no response.
Desired outcome: Withdraw my loan application immediately without negative impact on my credit score.
