I had a very disappointing experience with the manager Sandy at Ross. As a customer I did not like her customer service at all. She came across as very unprofessional and always seemed annoyed to be working. She often gave attitude to customers instead of being helpful which made the shopping experience uncomfortable and unwelcoming. l also noticed that she was on her phone a lot and did not appear focused on her responsibilities. She would ignore associates when they needed help and did not seem to have a good relationship with them.
From what I observed associates were not getting the support they needed which created a negative and tense environment in the store. In addition, Sandy would frequently stare people down and complain about every little thing. It felt very uncomfortable as a customer to witness that kind of behavior from someone in a management position. A manager should set a positive example for both customers and employees but that was not the case during my visit. Overall my experience with Sandy was very negative and I truly believe her behavior does not reflect what customers expect from Ross. Hire ups seriously need to look into this situation and take action as soon as possible so customers and employees can have a better experience.
