Rooms To Go Dining room table

Do not EVER purchase a furniture warranty from Rooms To Go ! In November 2019, I purchased a table and server from them, and paid for a 3 year warranty to cover accidental damage. In October 2021, I noticed 2 long scratches on the top of the table. I contacted Fortegra Warranty Company and filed a claim. The claim was denied, stating the scratches were not covered. This began a month of talking to several customer service reps and 2 supervisors. According to the contract, what is not covered: "Scratches, rips, cuts, gouges and scuff marks of any type, that DO NOT clearly penetrate through upholstery or the clear coat finish on wood, exposing the bare wood." The scratches on my table top clearly penetrated the clear coat finish and exposed the bare wood. After a month of trying to get them to understand that they were not completely reading the sentence in the contract and that my damage was indeed covered, another supervisor contacted me. This supervisor, James, NOW stated that the claim was denied because I told them that I did not know how the damage happened, therefore, it could have been intentional. He admitted to me that if I could have proved that the damage was accidental, the scratches would have been covered. This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard ! This company looks for reasons to deny a claim, and Rooms To Go should be ashamed to be selling their warranty to unsuspecting customers. I also found that numerous complaints have been filed against Fortegra Warranty Company on the Better Business Bureau website.

Rooms To Go Beauty rest mattress

I recently bought a mattress from here & I tried to give it a few nights but it's softer than I expected (the one in the showroom seemed a bit firmer) & it's been causing me back pain since day 1. I have an upcoming surgery & cannot keep wasting money & time on mattresses that make my condition worsen, I've been in chronic pain for the past 4 years & have just now found help from the correct doctor after also wasting much time & money to find one that could help. I am at a loss & do not know how to get rooms to go to either help me replace or exchange this mattress for a different model. I am just extremely exhausted of having to figure everything out & then running into constant roadblocks

Rooms To Go Cindy Crawford Sleeper Sofa & Rocker Recliners

Sofa with bar that hits mid back-

On 1.26.19 we bought a cindy crawford sofa with a upgraded mattress (salesman insisted on this) in addition to two rocker recliners. The salesman, (AB 042402) talked us into the upgrade as well as the "guard it" extended service contract. On 4.22.2020, we filed two claims with Fortegra (extended policy) and the claims were approved. On May 23rd, 2020 a service rep came out and stated the sofa was a manufactures defect and the one of the recliners would be repaired and he would order parts. Months went by with no word. We would make calls and were told due to the pandemic, no one could come out. Continued calls to RTG went nowhere. Passing the buck to others, supposedly dropped calls and another 6 months went by with no resolution. No phone or written contact was made by RTG ever. Finally, on 11.23.21, we made contact with RTG and again, another dropped call and then made a call to Fortegra. The 1st person spoken to was a lady whom I have the name and all names written down, advised me that on 7.7.20 the recliner was authorized for a reselection and on 10.25.21, the sofa was approved due to manufactures defect. I then finally got someone at RTG call center and was advised that the reselect was only good for 30 days from 7.7.20 and it was now no good. No one ever let us know about this reselection. This same person advised the sofa was not defected and nothing could be done. The last time RTG made contact with us was the service call on 5.23.20. We were waiting on parts. I then asked to speak with supervisor. That one day, I spoke to 8 people from RTG and Fortegra and not one person had the same story. We have never been able to use the sofa bed, not one time due to this defect and want both replaced or refunded. This has been ongoing for almost two years and the extended service contract is still in effect at this time. However just a few short months and it will not be. I will also be filing a complaint with NC state attorney's office. Thank you, Mary Decker 11.24.21

Rooms To Go Dispatch/delivery issues

On September 11th, 2021, We purchased a 5 pc bedroom suite ($3636.10). We were told it would ship in 2 different orders. No problem.

1st delivery - came (the head board and tall dresser). Head board had a black stain and the slats did not fit. They were too small. Husband refused them. Husband took day off at work.

2nd delivery - Headboard was damaged. Husband refused them. Husband took day off from work.

3rd delivery - Headboard delivered. No issues. I took the day off.

4th delivery - 2 night stands and dresser delivered. One night stand with stone top. cracked. I refused it. I took the day off.

5th delivery - scheduled for 11/17 from 1pm to 5pm. Expecting 1 night stand to complete the set. Did not show up. No phone or text received. Husband checked the tracker. New schedule time was 7:30pm. Continued to check tracker. Time kept getting pushed back to 8:50pm -9:00 pm.
9:15pm, husband received a phone call from supervisor stating she was calling to reschedule. She was following up on a phone call from the driver. He was suppose to have called to tell us he was not coming. He never did. Husband told her he did not receive any phone call. Supervisor was not apologetic at all. Husband told her he was going to call customer support, she didn't say anything but tell us that we now have to wait for the last item to be dropped off again, from 9am to 1 pm. I took yesterday off from work and again today.

6th delivery - Scheduled at 9 to 1 pm. Drivers came at 8:25am. I asked the guys what happened to the delivery last night and driver said his phone died. I told him dispatch told us that you called us and he said, "I couldn't call, my phone was dead". So not only did we get a unapologetic supervisor (dispatch), she lied to us.

We have taken 6 days off to receive unacceptable items. Everything is "Peachy" when you walk in side of a Rooms to Go store. We are greeted as soon as we get in. All through the store we have sale people asking us if we have any questions. You're deliveries and follow up people is what is the problem here. If I do not hear back from anyone regarding this issue, I will be posting on every social media outlet why "not" to order from RTG. We have spent some hard working money to buy a "dream" set. Disappointed on how items are not checked until they are actually delivered. By no means am I upset at the delivery team. I am upset, because there was a supervisor who was assigned and clearly made notes of all the problems we have had. Waiting 3 months to complete a bedroom set is just not worth it. Taking 6 days off from work is also unacceptable especially because we have no idea what the quality will be.

We've shopped at Rooms To Go before and never had any issues. The issues we had, no communication, lack of empathy, the missing of 6 days of work and obviously the dispatch's lie last night is not what we thought we were investing in. We don't expect to hear back.

Rooms To Go Service (delivery)

Rooms To Go A Rug I ordered

October 26th I ordered a Rug from Rooms to Go. 2 Hours later I cancelled the order. The money was already taken out of my bank account. I'm still trying to get my money back. I have called 3 times and they keep telling me the money has been released, but my bank says it hasn't.
I am no in the middle of a dispute.
This is ridiculous that I have to go through this.
I WILL NEVER SHOP ROOMS TO GO EVER AGAIN!

Rooms To Go sofa sleeper

I brought the sofa sleeper around March this year I only laid on the bed 3 times maybe it sinks in when you are sitting on the couch it sinks in 2 different techs came out and said nothing is wrong after sitting on the couch only one did his self I paid for a warranty I want my sofa replaced my family can't even sit on it. Rooms To Go Mulitple items

We have had nothing but issues ever since we went to Rooms to Go. We bought living room, kitchen, and bedroom furniture. First, we received the wrong table, delivery times are crazy, and we have had mulitple issues with wrong things delivered, and then already our son's new dresser has a loose drawer and handle broken and not even had it 2-3 months. We called to tell them we have issues with out adjustable bed and cannot use it. When you lay it flat, your head is below your chest and the vibrations are so loud if you even try an use the massager. We have learned a lot through this process and will never use Rooms to Go again and will not recommend them to anyone else either. We rate them at a zero. You like to take advantage of people and only care about the sale.

Desired outcome: A normal box spring instead of adjustable platfrom that causes body alignment issues and pain.

Rooms To Go Order delivered

I ordered a sectional couch and a swivel chair. Waited a month to get it delivered but I was fine with that because I know everyone is short staffed and busy. Once my order was delivered it was missing a piece of the sectional so I called to let them know, had to wait 2 more weeks to get what was suppose to be my missing piece delivered. I took off work so would be home to receive this delivery because I'm new to this area and no family to be home. The delivery guy came and I immediately said it wasn't the right piece before opening the box because of the the size but it wasn't the delivery guys fault. The piece that was delivered was also damaged and I talked to someone not even 20 minutes after he left and was told I had to wait at least a week for him to come back and 2 weeks to get my new piece delivered. I was told the items where in stock and I even offered to pick the item up myself but was then told I couldn't because it wasn't in stock now. Mind you I just moved here with a new job in a extra small 1 bedroom apartment. Now I have a big box in my living room of the same things I already had delivered. I can barely squeeze around the box and I have to squeeze out my front door before it's so huge. This is UNACCEPTABLE and I am very upset, I have to pay for something that I don't even have all the pieces to and they can't seem to send the right item damage free. I will never recommend anyone else to go to rooms to go.

Rooms To Go Customer service

Good Day, I never thought it would come to this purchasing furniture for my apartment. All these items were paid for IN CASH - First ITEM - on August 01/2020 A NON =PWR RECLINER SOFA - WALNUT. PROBLEM WITH THE DELIVERY GETTING TO MY PLACE ON TIME. SAT ON A CHAIR THE WHOLE TIME, SINCE I GAVE AWAY MY OLD SOFA.

WALNUT COUCH DELIVERED ON SEPTEMBER 22/2021 - sent pictures showing the left side of non-power recliner section was shorter than the other two panels, and had indents to the side area. on Sept. 23 I messenger Roxanne D. to please give me a refund. She told me to call CUSTOMER SERVICE, they called back and I told them I would do an inhouse return which I did, found a navy sofa (which I liked) and they said they would refund me on deduction for leather non-pwr recliner sofa (I sent photos on the) recliner will be sent once they get the leather sofa delivered back. I paid cash, still waiting on refund.

I ordered a Navy Couch which they said was the only one available in the warehouse.
The first delivery men, left the premises because I would not come down to the back door and escort them up. I told them take the elevator to the 6th floor and that is where I would be, they got angry and left with my Navy Couch-taking it back to the Warehouse because I would come down and help them - store was told.

When I did get the Navy couch delivered (4 days later) when sitting on the couch it would sink in on right side, but the left side seemed o.k. The 3rd leg underneath had warehouse wrapping around it. (manager told me it was so I could see if couch was level with floor and did I want the paper removed - asking me to look underneath the couch and check to see if couch was level?) I sent them numerous picture showing the indents the paper around the 3rd leg and a hole forming on the front of the navy couch. I paid for a WARRANTY as well. I have asked for a refund on the navy couch - but no one has gotten back to me. This was paid in cash.

Rooms To Go Stacked bedroom set

We purchased a set for our granddaughter which arrived in July 2021. The sales person told us if there was damage to keep and not and it would be replaced (parts etc) . The set did arrive with stair damage which the delivery person noted and said they would escalate. Because it went to our daughter, we lost sight of it and eventually called back. The customer rep who answered said we should never have received it but transferred me again to the sales rep who noted that it was correct to receive and she told everyone the same instructions. They sent someone out to look at it and weeks later called to say they were not going to replace. (My 4 year old grandchild nor anyone else has even touched the stairs as we blocked them off!) When my daughter insisted they replace as it was obviously delivered this was, they noted they would be back in touch. Nothing, radio silence and no one picks up the phone in the Dunn showroom. This was not inexpensive and I regret purchasing from Rooms to go and will not make the mistake again. Please share our story and purchase from a reputable, honorable company.

Rooms To Go Kingvale Court Black Reclining Love Seat and non-Reclining Love Seat

These products are barely out of warranty. The reclining loveseat is only 4-months out of the warranty and the stationery loveseat is two days out of warranty. I am upset because, first off, these products should last much longer than a year. But never mind that, four months out of warranty should concern the powers that be at Rooms to Go for furniture that is this expensive. This is nothing that we "did" to this furniture. The "finish" is rubbing off and it's just from sitting in it. It's not like we brush it with steel wool or something.

The most concerning thing to me is that there is no form of escalation. I cannot even talk to a supervisor, much less the supervisor's boss. I was never even offered an extended warranty, so I didn't even know it was an option. I might not have purchased one, but the fact that I wasn't given the choice is concerning to me. The fact that one needs to be offered is concerning to me. I am definitely not a fan of the fact that I have no recourse for furniture that I have four years left to pay off and that already looks like it's "used" furniture.

Unacceptable quality for the expense. I'm very disappointed and wishing I would not have purchased it. Now, I'm faced with figure out how to find covers for it so that it doesn't wear down any more. I will probably get a replacement for the stationery loveseat, but who knows at this point. They might claim it's user error.

Desired outcome: I want my furniture either fixed or replaced. Now that I know the issue, I can take precautions to care for it.

Rooms To Go Bedroom set

I purchased a bedroom set April 2021. The bed frame broke last night. I called to see if I could get assistance. Because I didnt have extended warranty they cant help me. This bed was pricey and within 15 months its broke. I am not happy about this. If anything can be done somebody please let me know. Otherwise I will be sleeping on the floor.

Rooms To Go Rooms to Go cut the serial number off my mattress and now I can’t get a warranty

I wanted to register my mattress for warranty purposes at sealy.com but now I had noticed that Rooms to go cut the serial number off. So there's no way I can register my mattress.

Desired outcome: Tell me the my mattress serial number or replace with one with serial number.

Rooms To Go Sectional

We purchased a sectional Cindy Crawford sofa from Rooms to Go in Madison, TN 6/15/2021. My wife and I are of average size but the sofa is collapsing where we sit, making it incredibly uncomfortable to sit on. The cushions and the substructure appear to collapse under our weight, after sitting in the same place for an hour or so, sink sown into a hole. We spent a lot of money $3600.00 for it and are so disappointed in the quality. What can be done?

Rooms To Go Furniture delivery and corporate doesn’t do much to help

We purchased over $6000 in furniture for bedroom and living room in Boca Raton store.Because of shipping shortages we were told the pieces would be coming over a period of time, a few at a time. No problem. The first delivery arrived and the love seat and a dresser were damaged. They took it back. Next time, after waiting another day in the house for delivery two pieces came in damaged. Fine. Approximately 1 month later, a headboard to match our bedroom furniture was delivered damaged. They took it back before it even came off the truck. A new date for redivery was given. Another float waiting all day at home produced yet another damaged headboard. I finally had enough of damaged goods being delivered and I contacted corporate office via e mail. I asked for a credit for my bedroom furniture for our waiting and for their mistakes along the way causing constant damage. All I was offered was a credit on the delivery charge. The stated I could also get a credit for the bed if I chose something else. I tried to explain that the headboard matched the dressers we purchased as a set. I was offered a $150 credit. So for spending $6, 000, in their store, and their constant errors and mismanagement of their delivery option I must now wait until 2022 for a new headboard and hope it doesn't come damaged. What a joke Rooms to Go is. I asked for a credit of the bedroom set as a fair exchange to wait until April 2022 due to their gross negligence. I was given $150 and no delivery charge. What a disaster this company is. I'm ashamed to call myself a former customer and can never buy anything from them ever again. No one should.

Elaina Peyton [protected])I live in Cornelia. Only been in GA for a few weeks. My sales person is about to lose a sale if something isn't corrected ASAP.
Dispatchtrack changed my del timeframe from 11-3 to 3-7 OK no problem - I'm here at home. Then I return a missed call saying the delivery team said NO ONE WAS HOME... A bunch of utter BS. Ive been here all day. It's 6pm - 1 hour left in my window (after talking with the man @ DT @ 3:48pm tellingly him this message is unacceptable and their del team lied & never showed up (you see I've handled deliveries for Ashley Homestores in PA for 10 year - they used Dispatch Track ... so this stupidity is commonplace with delivery teams - especially if they got off to a late start and don't want to work past 4pm)... I called them out. so far ZERO RETURN CALLS TO MAKE THIS BETTER - to bring me my furniture TODAY... had to reschedule for FRI and cancel my out of town plans because of the unprofessional and dishonest delivery team. Disgusted is an understatement.Now its almost 630pm and a callback request and on hold for over 30min is still going on and not answered or call returned.

Desired outcome: Refund of ALL delivery & set up cost.

Rooms To Go 7x leather theater recliners

I bought 7 chairs from the Rooms To go in Augusta, GA in late 2016. Within a few months, the leather in the chairs started cracking. The chairs were NEVER sat in because I never went into the theater. When I discovered the problem, I took pictures and showed them to the customer service personnel at the store where I bought them in Augusta, GA. I was told that RTG would not replace them because I didn't insure them. I was offered a few dollars off new chairs as my only option. I left the store very upset with RTG. I told a friend who was talking about buying from RTG about my experience. Another friend who was there said he had the exact same experience with his leather furniture he purchased from RTG. The RTG customer service personnel knew or should have known that this furniture was faulty yet refused to make it right. I still have those chairs in my movie theater as I refuse to sit in something that flakes.

Desired outcome: I want my chairs replaced with chairs that are not faulty. This should have been made right the first time

Rooms To Go cindy crawford electric recliner

My Cindy Crawford electric recliner is stuck in the reclined position. After multiple attempts for help with customer service, I tried replacing the switch. The switch was not the issue - it is clearly the motor. I have made 6+ efforts to get a resolution to fix my Cindy Crawford electric recliner. I have called the store in which it was purchased. I have called the service care telephone number multiple times. I have done online chat several times. Each time I have been given a different answer.

There's no service department.
Let me look up the part and we will call you back. (twice, no return call)
And on and on.

I understand the couch is out of warranty, but am i supposed to replace an entire furniture set after 4 years because a $50 motor wore out and left my couch reclined?

Desired outcome: I'd like my couch fixed

Rooms To Go Cindy Crawford furniture

I purchased a Cindy crawford sectional in 2019. Retuned it to rooms to go in Newnan Ga in February 2020 and got another Cindy Crawford sectional, supposedly better. Filed a claim and separated seams are not covered. I paid $2200 for this defective furniture. I need to reach Cindy Crawford's corporate office. I'm a retiree who cannot purchase new furniture.
