This particular pharmacy does not answer their phone. I attempted to find out if my prescription had been filled and called at least 6 or 7 times (beginning at 12 noon and just made my last call a few minutes ago - 6:38pm) throughout the day but no one would answer at the pharmacy. My calls kept getting kicked back to the original recording. I did manage to reach someone finally at the general number (not the pharmacy) and voiced my complaint and asked why no one was answering the phone there. The person who answered was very rude and acted as if she didn't want to be bothered answering my question regarding the pharmacy. Finally she disclosed after asking my question several times that there was a lack of staff and that the ones working there were too busy giving covid vaccinations and then she promptly hung up on me. This pharmacy has gone majorly downhill over the past few years and I am seriously thinking of switching to CVS. It's a shame because I have used this particular Rite Aid for quite a few years. Apparently professionalism and customer service are no longer in practice here. Perhaps better training is in order for your employees. By the way, I do not live close to the pharmacy thus the reason for calling so that I wouldn't have wasted a trip by car over there. At the very least, if they were so busy, then they should have an answering machine so that you could leave a message for them to call you back. Such poor management! Consider your hiring practices and get people who can do the job properly or else clean house.
