Tax resolution
Not uproot and honest. Told them the $13,325 IRS debt had and they said they can help “reduce” or get a good resolution for it. I am a widow that ended up with a hefty bill from the IRS. If they were honest enough to tell me that promises cannot be guaranteed that they can lower my debt or a money back guarantee then I know where I stand. Never had a levy threat from the IRS as I was advised to just turn in all the documents I received from them.Turned all documents . The option the IRS offered me as a payment plan was the exact amount they were telling me that they got. I would’ve just went straight to the IRS for a resolution instead of going thru TaxRise.

Tax Relief
Don't use this company! They are a scam! They scammed me $350 and told me that I will not pay anything to IRS. The guy who called me, Joe, put me on hold that they were reviewing my case internally and when he came back, he told me that I will only pay $350 for their service. I paid it, and after a week, Joe came back, telling me that I qualify for the Partial Payment Installment Agreement, only to talk to his financial expert, who came back with stories that I qualify for the Streamlined Installment Agreement! On top of that, I was to pay over 3,000 bucks to have them resolve my case! This information was not communicated to me from the word go and I feel like they just wasted my time and my money, without resolving my issue! DO NOT USE THEM! You would rather deal with IRS directly.

I paid taxrise $10,500.00 2 years ago to help settle and make a payment plan for back taxes. I provided all information/docs requested. I get a letter from the IRS about 3 months ago showing i now owe over $9,000.00 more and it was informing me of the lien to be places. Had i not filed form 12153 myself i would have lost the chance to appeal the additional fees. Ive gone through 5-8 different "case managers" and 99% of the time they would never take a call or when one was schedule they would state due to an emergency the call was cancelled. They offered a $7500 refund even though I OWE over 9k more! This is a fraud/scam and they will do nothing to help once they receive their fee. This company is horrible and the owner of it is even worse. I am proceeding with a lawsuit and will get my money and then some back. They are going to be paying a lot more than the refund im requesting.
