Respected Officer,
Good Morning, This is Selvaraj, From Erode, Tamilnadu. I have lodged a complaint against RBL Bank and that bank Staffs. My RBL Credit Card Ending Number is 3278 on 30.08.2025. RBL bank employees say that if you want, you can file a complaint with the RBI. We are not afraid; no one can do anything to us. Has the respected RBI allowed the collection of Rs.4.60/100 interest per month? RBI regulated and instructed for the credit card that as No one should not make a call, and give mental torcher to customer, Do not put Extra charges for anything, and should not allow to visit customer’s place. Moreover, Tamilnadu Government has amended a bill and enhanced the act for collecting the money which strictly prohibited harassment by the bank staff to collect the money. That is also the same as regulated by the RBI regulations. It is the act of forcibly collecting large amounts of money from people under the name of a credit card. Under such acts those Bank staff's activities are unlawful actions and used abuse filthy words.
I request that action be taken in this regard and measures be enforced to prevent of RBL bank employees, along with other bank employees, from acting illegally by forcibly making people take credit cards and compelling repayment.
Thanking You

Mr. Selvaraj, I read your complaint carefully, and you have laid out a very clear timeline and set of facts — which is exactly what regulators need. If RBL Bank employees are openly saying “file a complaint, no one can do anything to us,” that is both arrogant and legally foolish on their part. You are correct: RBI regulations prohibit harassment, excessive interest (4.60% per month works out to ~55% annually, which is indeed excessive), and threatening behavior. Tamil Nadu’s own laws reinforce this. Here is what I recommend: file a formal complaint on the RBI’s Ombudsman portal (cms.rbi.org.in) with the exact quote you shared here. Attach any call recordings or message screenshots. You have every right to be treated with dignity. Do not let them intimidate you. You are in the right.
