I am writing to formally demand a full refund for the charges assessed by Regus on December 10, 2024, for a virtual office agreement at 1560 Wall St, Naperville, IL 60563. The agreement was canceled within 24 hours, on December 11, 2024, after I discovered that the address could not be used for the intended purpose of registering my Illinois LLC. I received no services, did not access the facility, and did not utilize the address in any capacity.
Despite timely cancellation and non‑use, Regus has refused to issue a refund for the December and January charges. This refusal is unacceptable and constitutes an unfair and deceptive business practice under the Illinois Consumer Fraud and Deceptive Business Practices Act (815 ILCS 505/2). Retaining payment for services that were never provided, and that were canceled immediately after purchase, is unreasonable and results in unjust enrichment.
