Regus Virtual Office

Hi

I tried to contact you numerous times by sending messages through the Regus website, but I haven't heard back from you in the past 24 hours due to a misinterpretation of my message about the termination or renewal of my firm agreement. and unjustly take 12 months' worth of rent out of my business account. Even after speaking with [Redacted] on the phone at [protected], he promised to have a senior executive contact me in 10 minutes to discuss the issue and reimburse any funds that had been taken from your account. However, I received no feedback whatsoever, not even a refund. So, I'll wait another 3 to 4 hours. If the problem is fixed, fine. If not, I will challenge the transaction.

Thanks & Regards

Regus - Reception - Saint Charles, IL Manager

We are Accountants and rent an office in St. Charles, Illinois. [Redacted] was asked to assist with our office not having internet after a power outage yesterday. After trying all day yesterday to get on to our server to work she said it was our problem and not hers. This morning I got my IT person on the phone and spent 1 hour plugging and unplugging all...

Regus Private Office

In an attempt to upgrade from a lounge membership to a private office, their billing system over charged me for 4 months. This needed to be fixed before I would pay any other invoices. It took them so long to fix this issue that it led to a late fee on the private office, to which they refused to waive, despite it being caused by their own delays in rectifying their billing mistakes. Trying to get them to waive the 1st late fee took so long that it led to a 2nd late fee.

Due to this I have not set foot in the private office even once, and as far as I'm concerned any agreement is null and void due to their own billing blunders.

Account no: [protected]

Desired outcome: Termination of agreement and waive all amounts owing.

There was a clear and obvious billing mistake. My membership should have switched to a private office on July 20th, however you breached our agreement by continuing to charge me for August and September membership.

When I notified our original sales lady (Jessica) of the billing error on July 24th, she said she would have her manager look into it. I never heard back from anyone, and after several weeks and multiple attempts to reach someone at Regus, I finally had to discover **myself** that a credit had been applied.

However this lack of communication resulted in late fees which you refused to waive. Further delays in getting these late fees waived resulted in more late fees, and more time passed when we couldn't access said office space.

This was all a direct result of your delays and negligence handling an obvious billing error which you fully admit to.

In summary, billing error leads to delays and breached agreement. Delays lead to late fees. Late fees lead to services never being rendered. Regus caused the problem, and now expects to be paid to clean it up, despite the customer (me) never receiving any services whatsoever.

I have never stepped foot in a Regus office even once, **ever**, and you expect me to pay $5919 for this privilege.

Regus Not releasing my refund

Such an unprofessional and pathetic service and staff at Slough Bath Road office.

Charged me about 2000+ late payment charges despite me being provided my debit card details before hand!

When I've fed up because of their unprofessional services, I'd requested to cancel my contract.

Now it is more than a month, despite several attempts I still haven't received my deposit money back.

Desired outcome: Want my refund back as quickly as possible

Many thanks for replying

Infact the Regus lies mentioned well within their reply.

Yes, the refund was processed on 3rd of Aug 23 after I've chased the Bath Road support team multiple times and was instructed the money will be into my account by 14th of Aug (definitely more than a month after my refund request was submitted) today is 17th of August and still no refund :) an email screenshot has been attached to prove the point.

About the late charges, I've provided my debit card information when setup my account with Regus and I've an email confirming Regus all setup. Will share the screenshot if need be.

Thanks

Regus Overcharge

Hi, I had purchased Regus Lounge membership on July 26, for which reflects QAR 297. The app said that the renewal was on 1st September and onwards the charge would be QAR 579, which I accepted. However, as soon as I booked, there was a duplicate charge on my account and the money was deducted from me. There was an error in the app as they charged me twice, however they refunded half of the amount, and claimed 409 QAR instead of 297.

Upon reaching out to them, they are saying that August charge also needs to be paid which is QAR 597, which was not reflected on the app as it clearly says the renewal is on 1st Sep and not 1st August. For these deceiving reasons, I cancelled my membership and not even used once. Now they want me to pay for August which I am disputing.

Desired outcome: Remove charge of August from my account.

Dear Regus Customer Support,

Following are more details on the case for better clarity.

Mobile App Transaction Date: 26 July 2023

Amount Advertised: QAR 297

Actual Deducted Amount: QAR 412

I subscribed to your membership through the mobile app on 26 July 2023, which displayed a fee of QAR 297 and a validity period until 31 August, with a renewal scheduled for 1 September. However, upon reviewing my bank statement, I noticed that an amount of QAR 412 (after refunding duplicate charge) was deducted instead of the advertised QAR 297.

In response to this discrepancy, I promptly raised a complaint, detailing the situation and expressing my concern over the unexpected higher charge. Unfortunately, I received a response that did not provide a satisfactory explanation or resolution for this matter. I would like to reiterate my disappointment in the handling of my complaint, as the additional charges were not clearly communicated or justified.

Due to this unexpected and unexplained charge, I chose not to utilize your services during the validity period and subsequently canceled my membership before August. It is important to note that the primary reason for the cancellation was the discrepancy in charges, which led to my decision not to avail of the services offered under the membership.

To my surprise, I have now received a request for an additional payment of QAR 466, which I firmly believe I am not obligated to pay. As I mentioned earlier, the increased charge was not communicated transparently, and the lack of a satisfactory response to my initial complaint further underscores my reluctance to pay the extra amount.

I value the services provided by Regus and that is why I opted for lounge membership. However, I find myself in a difficult position due to the unresolved situation surrounding my recent membership experience. I kindly request that this matter be investigated thoroughly, and I am hoping for a prompt resolution that reflects the originally advertised terms and the initial payment of QAR 297.

I appreciate your attention to this matter and look forward to a resolution that is fair. Please do not hesitate to reach out to me for any further clarification or information you may require.

Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.

Sincerely,

Resolved

Regus Blue Shield Hospice office space

I was still charged a restoration fee when you assured me I wouldn't be,my initial complaint was marked as "resolved" but it was not resolved as I was still charged and not refunded. I brought this to your teams attention and they apologized and said I would be issued a refund. I still have no refund. I need your company to be more professional and not make promises that are not followed through with. Please check the status of my refund and my retainer as I am yet to receive either of those. Provide me with the reference numbers and dates for the refund and the retainer along with both total amounts. I need Melanie and Lorraine to refer back to this matter and tell me what the heck is going on with my refund!

Desired outcome: I need my restoration fee and my retainer refunded immediately. Stop playing games with people.

Regus Delayed deposit refund caused financial loss

Unfortunately, my deposit was not returned after 70 days. Nobody has responded to my request at this company, everyone passes their duties to another one.

It is very important that the deposit be returned at the specified time rather than wasting our time and energy trying to get it back with so many emails that no one responds to them.

My history requests are here for getting a result quickly.

Unfortunately, I didn't receive my deposit until now. Why does your company do this?

I would never recommend this company, after 77 days and a lot of correspondence they are still unable to pay their debt and return the deposit.

Sign a contract with Regus if you want to wait months for the deposit to be returned after the delivery of the office.

Regus Refusing to let me cancel at new price

I rent a virtual office at Regus to receive packages for my business. I currently pay $58 per month. I was notified the price will be increasing to $167 per month. I have had Regus for less than a year at this point. I responded to the price increase email with inquiry about why the price has increased so drastically. And they responded that is the new price. I then responded that is outside of my budget and that I am not interested in renewing my contract. Keep in mind my current contract does not end for another 3 months. I just received an email that they have automatically renewed my contract and unfortunately I will have to pay. I get less than 10 deliveries per month and some months I get none. I can not justify ever paying that much to any company to just pick up my packages. I do not currently owe them any money and just want to cut ties and move on. I feel like this is going to be a battle and now I’m concerned I will have to seek legal counsel. I just want to terminate my contract because a price increase from $58 to $167 is unbelievable.

Desired outcome: Termination of contract

Regus Membership termination.

Hello,

I would like to terminate my membership with regus. I was quoted $89 per month and it seems more than $89 a month. I have contacted customer service multiple times and they refuse to terminate my membership. I understand I signed a contract with the impression from regus sales rep that it would only be $89 a month not jump from that to $400 the filling month. Great way to trick people to to sign up. I’m very disappointed in the customer service I have never seen such poor service. Normally, customer service helps you solve your problem and if the customer is dissatisfied you’re supposed to have a resolution. The only resolution you have is your way or no way at all. I have never used my regus services I have never been to the office I’m basically being charged for something I do not use. If this is the regus hospitality I do not want to be a regus customer any longer. Please if someone can provide me with a solution that would be helpful I would appreciate it.

Desired outcome: Terminate contract without charge due to customer dissatisfaction and customer never using the service.

Regus Credit card fraud

FRAUD! had this account for about 2 years. they have over billed me and charged me fore late fees a few times and my cc is on file for automatic payment. in august of 2022 I was charged a late fee due to non payment and received a letter stating that if I didn't pay in 10 days it was going to collections! i call my office and they informed me regus had a system failure and it accidentally erased everyone's billing info. However they weren't taking any responsibility for it. I made the decision to cancel but had to wait until April 2023. Long story short the company kept charging me late fees even after my new cc was on file. in may they charged my credit card automatically but then stopped for june and july. and they are looking for payment asking me to put a new cc on file. however they billed for april march and may! the same card that was on file. they even sent me invoices billing a cancelled credit card. this company is a joke. I will be suing them in small claims for fraud. they even updated there system admitting some errors but wont credit any late fees. after I closed my account my updated cc was still on file but as of today I see they removed any trace of there negligence. why didn't they charge the cc that was on file and then later remove it after I called them out on it. This company is fraudulent and then they closed my ticket trying to resolve the issue and removed any responses to help desk.

Desired outcome: refund my money or get sued!

Regus retainer/deposit refund

I had cancelled my membership at December 2022 and move out of the office, at 14 Penn plaza, New York.

And I initiated a request for my retainer refund on the website after moving out. However, I wait for 8 months but still did not received my retainer refund.

Regus promised to process the refund in about 30-40 days, but I did not receive any refund and/or any email regarding my refund since then.

Regus Termination of service

Hi,

I would like to file my third complaints followed by my first and second complaint to this Regus. My husband and me personally went to this Regus for several time, to terminate the service with immediate effect because we do not wish to continue the service. Since March, we do not use the service anymore but just because we forgot to go to the apps to terminate the service. This Regus go and renew the contract for us even for every customer to auto renew. We went down twice to the counter in order to highlight our concern that we do not wish to continue with this service anymore. However, this irritating company still continue to send us invoices and force us to pay for it for another extra 3 months, even my contract is ended at June, but we forgot to terminate in the mobile apps. I am really super frustrated with this Regus for rest of my life.

Regards

Joey

Desired outcome: Please terminate my service with effective on June my end of contract instead of keep insist continue sending me invoices anymore !

Regus Restoration fee for a non restored office

During the pandemic, we leased 6 offices from Mason Manning, which were leased to us with no restoration completed. We were told that the lease prices would only be increasing 5% at the max. One year later, Regus doubled our rents and Mason did nothing about it. 5 of the offices were cancelled and one was kept, all the 5 offices were returned their restoration fees since they were cancelled because Mason confirmed that the offices were never restored to begin with. Now, we are ready to exit completely from Regus since the rent keeps going up and we hate the instability that your company provides. You cannot trap and mislead customers like this because you will lose all your customers and eventually your company will go bankrupt like it is right now. You cannot legally charge a restoration fee when you never restored an office to give to your tenant in the first place, especially when your company policy is to restore the office after each tenant use. I have text messages proving that my offices were never restored.

Desired outcome: Cancel my restoration fee immediatly.

Regus Virtual office

I started my business relationship with Regus in April 17th 2022. Fresh off the presses of starting my jewelry business, I was so excited to get an office and had heard a few people online shout out Regus as their choice for their virtual office. I called and spoke to representatives and at first everything was good. Then within a couple months (July 3rd 2022) I noticed that I was being billed incorrectly. I emailed and called the location where my virtual office was located multiple times only to be met with silence or inconsistent/drawn out replies. During this time I received a very important package to my Regus location and was trying to retrieve it. But again was met with no reply regarding if I had received any mail and if they could forward it to me. After many weeks of no reply I decided I’d had enough & drove over an hour to the location so I could get my package and mail (that was never sent out) & to speak to someone about the incorrect bill that was issued to me. Upon my entrance, I was ignored and pushed to the side for a few minutes. They notified me that they were closed even though it was 15 minutes til their closing time. I was able to speak to the newly hired manager and she assured me that they were looking into it and that they would be able to fix it soon. After getting my name and package to me, she commented that she remembered seeing my email & sorry that she did not reply. I made sure to get her name and how to get in contact with her. They fixed the billing issue a few days later but it shouldn’t have taken me driving over an hour to get to this resolution. Come to find out that this manager has also left this location. The turn around rate for managers at this location is astounding. I have spoken with 4 different managers since I’ve been here. A few months later I contacted the account help desk since I had noticed that I hadn’t received any mail in a few months…with no explanation or notification from Regus on why. They emailed me back notifying me that they received some mail for me and that they would send it shortly. Why in the world am I paying for the mail forwarding fee (monthly), if my mail is being held at the office? That goes against my agreement. I’ve been emailing and contacting the office and member services (account help desk) over the span of a few months to completely end this agreement even though I’ve detailed how unhappy I am with this terrible service. I get one response max and then I’m ignored thereafter. I explained I wanted to speak to corporate multiple times but was rejected. Also, my business and I no longer need this service from Regus because I am pausing my business at this time. Every time I talk to support at Regus I am told that because this is my agreement that I will still be charged til the agreement end date. No way! I would understand if the service from Regus and their staff was exceptional but it was far from it. It has been torture since the first month! There is no consideration or empathy from the staff, And to think I was going to recommend this company to my close family and friends! Wow. I refuse to deal with this unprofessionalism.

Desired outcome: That my agreement with Regus be 100% terminated on both sides (mind and Regus) & to not be billed/charged going forward.

This is so unfortunate. I’ve explained to team member that reached out to me via phone that I have tried and tried contacting my office center but I am often ignored or sent to an extension that rings and rings for many minutes. Your team is not taking account the times I had to call the office countless times to even get an email response! In the past & recently…the only time I’m able to get my mail or concern heard is if I’m driving up to my office (over an hour away) OR if I’m calling them back to back. Yes, your team might handle hundreds of mail with no issue but that was not the case for me! If my mail was handled in that same way I’m sure I wouldn’t be wasting precious minutes leaving a complaint & would be fine to pay the bill. Regardless of the agreement I signed, it was the staff’s responsibility to hold true to your part of the agreement as well. The customer service is terrible and it’s hard to get in touch with anyone over the phone or email.

As I’ve expressed to the representative that reached out to me. I called multiple times to my direct center and was either sent to voicemail (not able to reach anyone!) OR ignored many MANY times. The only reason I would receive a response through email was because I would call the center over and over. You are missing many parts of the story and choose to only look at the few times Regus did their part.

Regus Regus argues with and doesn't listen to customers; I finally quit and here's why...

I quit and here's why...

In the past, there were hiccups in getting our mail. As of late, everything had been fine and dandy and then it started going back downhill. Here's some of the issues:

1. I started asking Regus why there's such a need to close for every single Federal holiday, with no good answer or reply. This includes questioning Regus about being closed on the 19th of June. It seems a bit superfluous to celebrate every Federal holiday, especially two 'race-based' holidays. I highlighted this with your Community Managers at both your Cranberry Township and Pittsburgh, PA locations. Your Cranberry Township location demographic aren't interested in you being closed on the 19th of June. You're a for-profit business and so are we. Our expectations were that you stay open for us to get our mail, etc,. A lot of our mailings are time-sensitive, but then you're closed. When does it stop? If the Feds approve another holiday, what... you'll be closed again? It makes no sense. You have no standards.

2. I spoke with [edited]. I explained my opinion and my disapproval with how the front desk employees are continuously away from their desk. I explained that they are challenged on many levels. I was given the wrong mail on multiple occasions, missing front desk resources, etc,. She didn't like my take, she actually started yelling at me. How dare you allow your "community managers" to yell at customers? Who do you think you are here? You will lose more and more business, treating customers as such.

3. Your Account Services' follow-up support is ineffective. There have been multiple times where I submitted an issue via ticket / confirmation number and it's fallen on deaf ears. Additionally, it's embarrassing speaking with them. A lot of broken English and their inability to understand some very basic English words. You're obviously outsourcing this to a foreign country. Bad form. An example, I had called up to complain about the lack of resources at your Cranberry Township location. After speaking with Account Services, they shot an E-mail to Cranberry location and stated that I wanted to quit. I never said that. At that point, I didn't want to quit. I'm not even sure where they got that from, actually. Their listening skills are challenged.

BTW, I've greatly expanded the Medical Credentialing aspect of my business. Within this model, we make suggestion to medical provider clients who want to do 'telehealth' / 'telemedicine' to lease virtual office space, etc,. To make a long story short, our medical provider clients need a physical location in order to be credentialed. We WERE going to reach out to Regus to see if we could either partner or get a bulk rate for virtual offices in every State and Commonwealth in the US. That was going to be ~100 locations across many different cities. Low-end, you would have made, at least, $15K / month from us.

Not anymore...

Desired outcome: Try harder, listen to your customers. Get an account management staff that speaks better English. IOW, broken English galore. It's embarrassing to have to listen to that and on top of it, they don't listen.

Blah, blah, blah... You can make up all of the excuses that you want. You're just unable to digest the constructive criticism and don't like what I have to say about your pathetic group. You're wasting customers' time and money with shouting, rude and inefficient employees and management.

I'll never spend a cent with Regus and / or associated groups. Stop the BS virtue signaling and pandering. You should be ashamed and embarrassed in equal measure.

Regus Atrocious business practices

I signed a month to month lease with regus. After 2 weeks I checked my bill and there were 22 line items of charges and refunds that I had to reconcile. Meanwhile, it was very confusing and seemed like they did this to confuse the bill as much as possible to try and steal extra money. Then in my month to month lease I've was billed for months 2 and 3 at the end of the first month. Why would you bill me 2 months in advance for a month to month lease? I was locked out of the building multiple times, key cards didn't work from beginning. After the first month I moved to a larger office and got slammed with more extra charges. I spent 3 days total in the new office. The office walks were not painted, the ceiling had multiple cat 5 cables dangling through the drop ceiling. Basically, the office was never properly prepped. The office didn't even have furniture and when I asked them for chairs they told me I had to buy my own. That's not what regus offered. Eventually I got the chairs but then they billed me for more surprising charges. Upon telling them I'm leaving at the end of the month they informed me I was already paid through the next month. (Dishonest billing for a month to month lease) so I had to keep the office for another month for no reason and then they billed my for painting and fixing up the office upon moving out. Meanwhile, I never used the office, I had only mixed things into it, and the office was never prepped for me so why am I being billed $700 extra for no reason?

Desired outcome: refund and apology

Nobody contacted me and you've noted stolen my retainer as well. I'm going to file a small claim for $5,000 and then I'm suing your front desk staff individually, I have their names in email, for discrimination.

Regus Retainer

I submitted my retainer on June 1st and it is now July 5th and still no retainer deposited..

They're quick to bill me twice and keep money but take slower than a turtle to return money..

I called CS to be told that I couldn't call anyone about this and that I would have to wait for a call or email with an update and that "I may not hear from them, so if I don't just call us back to restart the process"

WHAT!?!?! Unbelievable

Do right by this Regus

@ Regus, it was request June 1st. I received it LONG past the 30 days.. I asked for my late fees that REGUS now owes me since REGUS thinks they can charge late fees on customers but not be held accountable when they're late

I'm still awaiting my $1,000 in late fees since it took well over 30 days to receive my funds

Thank you

UPDATE: It took REGUS almost 2 months to get my retainer back to me and within doing so I told them I would charge them the same late fees they charge their customers but they didn't pay it.. just the retainer back

Just remember this company is CROOKED! They will charge you fee after fee after fee but when it comes to getting your money back it will take them months and you will not get any fees the way they charged you

I will be posting on the BBB as well and sending a complaint to my state / city because this is criminal
