Publix Super Markets review: Publix's weekest link

We had been going earlier and earlier each weekend because the Tutto bread baked daily(?) and the Publix's Gourmet Blend Brisket, Short Rib, and Sirloin Beef Burger packs were lately always sold out/not in stock by the time we get there. I spoke to the meat or produce mgr. Mike and he told me that publix puts a new meat combo out every 2 months and they discontinue the old meat combo when the new is brought in, no rotation. After looking into meat deliveries, he said there was one last delivery coming that evening/overnight and would be stocked and on the shelves first thing in the morning. After getting there at 7am opening and neither items were in stock...frustrated, we started to ask questions. And at the bakery counter, we were told that the bakery only makes a specific amount of bread each morning denoted by Publix corporate offices and on that morning they were only instructed to make/bake 1 loaf of Tutto that morning?!? REALLY, only ONE?!? We have never had that problem at the Hilton Head Island and Fort Lauderdale locations or a Publix anywhere else for that matter...NEVER! I will not recommend or return to the General Booth location.
