I was looking on your site, as I was i put 2 things into the "basket" but did not complete the order. You went on and sent me the items billing me, stating that when I submitted the enter to win I was also ordering the items in the basket EVEN THOUGH I DID NOT COMPLETE THE PURCHASE.
This is a deceptive trade issue. I called and complained as this practice is in violation of the postal code. Which states if you didn't order the item you don't have to pay for it; furthermore you don't even have to return it.
I was surprised that the employee knew the postal code and I had no problem canceling the billing, he even knew I didn't have to return the items.
Now we'll see if the billing department ceases and desists.

I tried several times to send this to pch. Each time it was returned because the mailbox was not monitored. Special savings because we are loyal customer. Not loyal, ignorant maybe, but not loyal. The Original Tumble Buggy Red Car 17.95, same price as before. The Licorice Lovers Mix was so rubbery, it was impossible to chew. I did receive the Raspberry Crèmes. Being a chocolate lover, , I was hopeful. The Chocolate was old, it had white spots, also hard to chew. The crème filling, was dry and grainy. The money I spent that we could not afford. Like so many of your customers. I spent money we couldn't afford. Each time I said enough. I would get another message "I was so close" I would move up to Elite Customer Status. Would I please take another look at the gifts, "we could sure use your support." That sounds like a bait and switch scheme. They stay just within the line of the law. We, the consumers, need to stop being taken in by their deception.

My life has been an online nightmare since I was dumb enough to enter the PCH Sweepstakes. Not only do they spam me to death over and over several times each day, they also send physical huge fat packets of mail. They try to FORCE you into ordering by entitling every e-mail with something like if YOU DON'T ACT NOW---IMMEDIATELY--YOU ARE FORFEITING YOUR ENTIRE ENTRY. At one point I had "placed an order" I didn't even know I was placing and it took forever to figure out how to call them and cancel it. They are rude. The whole thing is a scam and its my nightmare every time I turn on my computer. Give it a rest PCH. And, for all of us "wanna be" winners, if you think you are truly GOING TO WIN the Powerball lottery (1 in 275 million chance), then go ahead and take your chance with PCH. I SO WISH I HAD NEVER BEEN SO STUPID. Please, if you value your sanity, STAY AWAY FROM PCH!

I'm getting calls on my phone from this number [protected] stating they are Publishing Clearing House, and I need to send them money in order to recieve my prize money.

I too have been bombard with ridiculous emails and phone calls. In one day I received approximately 50 emails and 4 phone calls. The phone calls are more concerning to me than the emails. Don't get me wrong, the emails are very annoying too, but I've been scammed on similar phone calls that I have received in the past. Now since I think about it, I believe it was after I had entered a PCH sweepstakes years ago. It is a real hassle to change my email address, but that is what I am debating on doing, because if you read the fine print on some of the emails I have received, you just get put on a suppressed email list for a certain time frame and a lot of them require you to send them a letter in writing...this is a bunch of crap! Who wants to sit down and write out 100 letters just to be taken off email lists that I did not even sign up for? Try to go to their website and find any contact information. None of the links on their website to customer service works, so good luck getting in contact with them. I will NEVER enter another PCH sweepstakes again. I also have been telling everybody I know about this issue. I think it is very interesting that they are advertising on this site...what is that all about? I believe that they should not be advertising on a site that has so many complaints against them. I should win the million for life after dealing with all this mess. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Generally, the same complaints as everyone else. I click on entry form, then have to go through ten million screens of merchandise ads, which are themselves annoylingly broken up by pop ups reading something like " Wont you please change your mind?" (because I have not made a purchase). Yes, I know PCH has to sell stuff to make money to keep giving away money, but why keep up the same speel about no purchase being necessary to win, while ALL THE WHILE making it next to IMPOSSSIBLE to enter the sweepstakes itself without having to wade through a million pages of ads? Why not a page with just an entry form that gets processed immediately? Like the others here, I often just get stuck no matter how many times I push the "enter now" button.

I have the same question/complaint September 16, 2022. Green "processing" bar starts over and over. I gave up after 15 minutes. I really, really wanted to win.

In complete agreement with the previous posts, I haven`t won anything but tokens in over two years of playing the PCH sweepstakes.

I can't even enter the PCH Lotto, the "Submit" tab never appears no matter how long I wait while the ads I don't want just keep popping up all over. Who can or will do something about this? PCH are u listening? Since starting to play the other games, my daily inbox of junk has jumped from 30 to over 200 a day, and I resent it. Most don't allow me to unsubscribe even if I take the time to try each one, which I shouldn't have to do. This is unsolicited harassment!

I cannot count how many emails I've received informing me my entry isn't complete ... and how many times I've jumped through their electronic hoops to be told again and again that it now is compete. What this is is COMPLETE BS -- a total scam, but I'm sure buried somewhere in the fine print is some tiny clause that says entries are not complete until PCH says they are. Kinda like Clinton -- "depends on what you mean by [insert word]". So, I keep "searching", but this time I keep searching "PCH SWEEPSTAKES FRAUD" ... which is how I found this page, which is, interestingly, covered in PCH Sweepstakes ads!

I find this interesting. I even called the 1-800 number shown if having a problem submitting the entry. I was told I needed to update my browser. Well, guess what. Internet Explorer and Microsoft keep me updated automatically. So, I'm in total agreement with all of you. This is evidently not as advertised. If it's legitimate there should all these people wouldn't be having the same problem. The last one I got was a joke. I had been selected for the "elite seal". JOKE!

I have to agree because I am not getting anywhere either. No winnings. I think the PCH Lotto is no good because the instant scratch off is fixed because I never won a dime. I don't know why they call it "instant" in the first place. What a joke! I am unemployed and I thought it would be nice to win something for a change until I can get a job. I have had no luck. The PCH needs to be shut down and stop harassing people on fixed income. I get an email from PCH that I am close to getting a prize and the prize patrol has my address. I am like we'll see how it goes. How do people win? I am seeing the streaming banners showing people winning some cash and other prizes by the PCH Search and Win but I have struggled to find something using their search and win that will help my chances but I think it is a trick. It is unfair when people are trying to find jobs and get scammed at the same time.

I had a call from Publishers and Clearing house of Las Vegas the callers name was "Van Hall" He said I had won one and a half million dollars and a new mercedes, they would cover 95% of the taxes but I needed to get a money gram of $175.00 and send it to Eugene Johnston in Brooklyn NY 11234. Then when I recieve my receipt a "BLUE U.P.S" truck along with 2 detectives would deliver my prize and escort me to my bank. What a bunch of CRAP! PCH does not sell computers. so this post shouldnt even exist and should be flagged for deletion. This person may be thinking of another company called
Sweepstakes Clearing House which is in Texas. which has nothing to do with PCH.
Its like a Wal-mart/Bestbuy. Two different companies. so please change the headline.

I can't think of a single time I've ever heard of anyone that I know in my state ever winning
anything. I read another blog where the person brought up a salient point: namely, that one,
single picture of an elderly person winning the "big one"...well hell, yeah. How long would they
possibly have to pay out if she's 80?!?!?

Yes, PCH is a huge scam. I've been playing for over 30 years and only won a $20 Amazon gift card a few years ago from PCH Search. A couple years ago I woke up one Saturday morning and started to search for something via PCH Search and a pop-up window pops up stating my name and where I'm from had won $10, 000. I was ecstatic and patiently waited for the confirmation email. A few hours later I got an email from PCH stating they had made a mistake and someone else had actually won. Yeah right, it's another deceiving thing PCH does. They tell people they won thinking they will feel great and buy a bunch of their crap. Anyway, they should have honored that money to me. They gave me some bullcrap coins that are utterly completely worthless! Speaking of coins, PCH Rewards is a huge joke as well!

They bombard you with emails and always threaten you stating if you do not enter now you forfeit the chance to win the grand prize even when you've entered a million times before. They just want you to buy their cheap products, which I advise never ever do because it's all China made crap! They have good deals on magazines, but it's not worth me wasting anymore time doing the bogus games. PCH is a huge scam and you will never win anything worth anything! The only thing you will win is tons of spam mail because they sell your email address. They are a bunch of thugs and skanks!

I have play PCH games since 2014 and currently have 79, 000, 000 tokens. I once received an e-mail that I had won $10, 000 but by the next morning I was notified that it was a mistake and given 10 chances to win $10, 000 again. I do purchase useful items from time to time but many are cheap low quality items. The experience has not been what I had hoped for.

I have over 1.5 million tokens and even when I put 100 tokens for a $1000 cash award I never have seen anyone I know win. From now on I am just deleting them. They always want you to pay postage or shipping for a purchase so if they have all this money why can't they ship for free?

I, too, "won" a prize on their instant win site. If I remember correctly I think it was for $1000. I then got an e-mail from PCH.com saying there had been a computer error & that I did not win. In the past I have son a few things from them. It's been about 16 years ago but I did win a $1000 Savings Bond from them & they did deliver on that and very quickly too. Otherwise I have won $50 & $5 on their instant win contests, I think one reason why it is SO difficult to win is because SO many people are trying to win these prizes. If you read the rules it gives you the odds of winning which are just about nothing. So it's up to the individual as to whether or not they want to spend all that time from such a remote chance of winning. If you entered all the sweepstakes on their website it takes a minimum of 3 to 4 hours to hit them all.

I have been playing every day and night for two years and have never won one penny. PHC is a total and complete scam. They keep saying they have winners everyday yet I never see any of those "Winners" giving any kind of testimony verifying such. It is all a lie!.

Actually you have to have 3 of the same thing on the ticket. That's why there's two of each thing on the ticket.

That's just it--only properly 'stickered' entry forms are accepted. They do make it a chore to get it all filled out exactly to their specifications. And that "window" on the back of the envelope shows whether you ordered or not--non orders probably hit the trash can! Now I've gotten some good deals on magazines, (beats the door to door folks who sell subscriptions you may never receive) but I won't buy stuff. I know of a retirement home resident that told everyone she was gonna get a visit by the Prize Patrol and gathered folks up to wait for their arrival, which never came...and the entry you send in today is for the prize awarded a few years from now! I just look through the ads, in my bathroom, and then throw it all away.

Agree with everyone. I have been playing for a year and have ordered a few items. The stuff they send you is junk with outrageous postage and handling.
Everyone, think of all the stamps you spent money on to send in the entries. Plus, they ask you to find the blue sticker, green sticker with certain numbers on them. You have to cull through their multiple inserts. totally crazy.

Now I just toss the junk mail away and have blocked their email address. the whole thing is a scam and a waste of your time.

YES, we agree 100% and we are immigrant families mixed with Mayflower and Plymouth residents. is it not amazing how everything turns ot.
Now to the PCH scam- they have been sending various- even before Internet- these JUNK MAIL to all our family members... They have no shame. Some of our immigrant relatives from Europe, Asia and Africa were laughing at the "immaturity" of this ad by PCH and asked us 'I don't think American people are dumb enough to get caught into this?" Then sadly we 9the US citizens) explained how there are desperate people (even in other countries- but they said - "we are underdeveloped & expect to be scammed" so are on watch out all the time! BUt in USA- the land of TRUTH, FREEDOM and JUSTICE?- they were very puzzled- now they KNOW) and we explained how desperate and lonely people of USA- many in their little apartments and barely socialize because of WORK...WORK..7 more WORK..just to pay Corporate Bills (At&T, Energy Corps, Water Company, Light/Electric, Books, School, Medical supply, Doctor Bills, CLOTHES- the "biggest" scam, bedding, carpeting, roofing, CARs & GAS, heaters, FOOD- too much (make us fat), and the list of many UNWANTED "stuff"- which I think my relatives also came to USA for...lol..Now they may think of leaving..Iwe are not sure. Okay, I ordered two magazines from Publisher Clearing House but only receivec one of the magazines ordered. THey started billing before the first issue c ame. I received only two issues of one and the other stopped after the fourth issue. I told them, but they kept on billing, getting more and more nasty. They will not acknowledge receipt of any correspondence from me. I am tired of the threats and awful customer service. I have asked to be removed from their mailing list, and seriously contemplating contacting my attornies. Awful, just awful business.
