Facebook's security system appears to prioritize automation over user recovery. I still have access to my original email account, can receive Facebook verification codes, and can verify my identity through account history, yet I remain locked out because the system insists on two-factor authentication that I cannot access.
The platform offers very limited recovery options and relies heavily on AI-based verification, such as video selfies. When automated checks fail, there is often no clear path to speak with a human representative.
Security is important, but a recovery system that prevents legitimate account owners from accessing their own accounts is not a good user experience. Facebook should provide more recovery options and better customer support for users who can demonstrate account ownership.
Recommendation: i don't recommend you to use the Facebook's 2FA it's suck. and it even worse when you can't acess your authentication app
