In late July of 2021 I rented a storage unit from Public Storage in Lake Worth FL. I was informed by my mover that the rate I was quoted might be short term and that I should inquire about that issue with Public Storage. I was informed by a customer service rep that my rate would not go up in the first six months and after that "if" it went up it would only be a $10-$20 increase. I have recently been informed by Public Storage that my rate is going up $60 a month. Renter Be Ware - If I had known that Public Storage would act in bad faith and lie to me about my rate increase I would not have rented storage space from them. Do not rent from this dishonest and fraudulent company!
In addition, Public Storage has purposely created a lack of communication in an effort to delay my payments in an effort to create late payment charges to my account.
