Zolo is a great website for finding homes to buy or rent. I recently used it to find a new place for my family and it was a great experience. My realtor, Charmaine, was amazing. She was always available to answer our questions and show us homes. She made the whole process so easy and stress-free. I really appreciated how she made us feel comfortable and listened to our needs. She was a God sent!

I was impressed with the variety of homes available on Zolo. There were so many options to choose from and the website was easy to navigate. I also liked how I could save my favorite homes and get alerts when new homes were listed. It made the search process so much easier.

Charmaine was always there to help us with any questions we had. She was patient and understanding, and always had a positive attitude. She made us feel like we were her top priority and that she genuinely cared about finding us the perfect home.

I just started renting and I gotta say, my experience with Zolo wasn't great. The agent I talked to didn't really help me out at all. Instead of giving me some advice on how to solve my renting problems, he just straight up told me that nobody would rent to me. That's not very helpful, is it?

So, I gotta tell you about my experience with Zolo. I was trying to find a new place for me and my family, and I got in touch with this guy named Iftikar Hussain. Let me tell you, he was a real piece of work. He talked down to me, treated me like I was stupid, and wouldn't even let me see a house because I'm a woman. Can you believe that? He said the owner only wanted a man living there to take care of the place. What a load of crap.

And it wasn't just that. He kept calling me by the wrong name, even after I corrected him multiple times. He called me during work hours, even though I asked him to text or email me instead. And get this - he called me on Christmas morning while I was with my kids. Who does that?

But the worst part is that even though I have a great credit score, a letter of employment, and references, he still wouldn't give me a chance because of my gender. It's just not right.

I'm done with Zolo after this. I don't want to deal with their sexist employees anymore.

Zolo is a website that offers rental listings and connects potential tenants with agents. Overall, I have had positive experiences with the website and the agents have been responsive. However, my most recent experience with Zolo was a complete fail.

The agent I worked with told me that the landlord was new to renting out their property and that I would be their first tenant. They also mentioned that the landlord was anxious about the whole process. Looking back, I should have seen this as a red flag. As I settled into the apartment, I began to feel like I was being watched. I noticed that there were six unnamed devices listed under my Bluetooth connections. This made me feel uneasy, so I started covering the smoke detectors and showering in the dark.

Things took a turn for the worse when I realized that I was being stalked 24/7. The landlord was following me from room to room and making a sound in response to every sound I made. It was a very uncomfortable situation and I couldn't believe that I was being harassed for simply covering up my private parts.

I reached out to my Zolo agent to ask about hidden cameras in the unit, but they completely ignored my question. They pretended like I didn't even mention the words "hidden cameras." I decided to look into a bug sweep company and they quoted me $3,000 to sweep the entire apartment. As my lease was coming to an end, the landlord reached out to me to tell me that they would be raising the rent and wanted me to sign a new lease for another year. This is not required by law, so I refused to pay any more money to live in a place where I felt like a hamster in a cage.

I gave my notice to vacate and I will not be using Zolo for my next rental. If you choose to use Zolo, here are some tips to keep in mind. Firstly, if your landlord is a man who only wants single ladies to move into the unit, be aware that they could be a pervert secretly watching you naked. Secondly, be cautious of new or "never lived in" apartments. If you are the first to live in it, the landlord can raise the rent after a year to any amount they choose. Additionally, newer units are more likely to have spy cameras built into the walls and/or ceilings. Lastly, never extend the term of your lease beyond a year. By law, your lease continues month to month and you are free to leave if needed by giving the landlord 60 days notice.

Zolo should take some corporate responsibility and weed out listings with hidden cameras. To the reader, be smart and careful out there and know your rights.

I had a less than satisfactory experience with Julia Mossanen during my recent property inquiries. While exploring two properties, I found her approach rather discourteous and unwelcoming. Upon discussing my budget, she suggested that I should directly contact the listing agent instead of seeking her assistance. As I primarily use Zolo for market searches and Julia is the listed agent, I expected a more professional interaction. Unfortunately, her manner was brusque and not conducive to a productive discussion. In my view, her customer service skills could benefit from improvement. For future property inquiries, I would recommend considering direct engagement with the listing agent.
