most of these complaints on this thread can be rationally explained. all of them hint that "user error" is at fault sadly. every time i contacted brookstone via phone, in person, or email they have been nothing but kind and generous.
Infact i recently been in contact with their new section called axent wear, a new up coming company that is selling headphones at brookstone later this year. All my questions about the head phones were answered fast and satisfyingly. THE HEADPHONES ARE STILL IN DEVELOPMENT AND THEY ANSWERED EVERY QUESTION I HAD WITH THE SAME RESPECT AND KINDNESS I GAVE THEM.
Moral is follow the rules, be kind, nice, and they will be nice back. if you try to cheat them by not following the rules [forget recipt, try and return after the return window] they have a right to refuse service.
@phycho dome
all i can say is that to the IMVU TOS selling any account, even a friends is illegal and they have the right to ban you. doesn't matter [according to tos] if it is your account or not, they believe you hacked it due to the fact your selling it. you could argue it but you opened the door for disable by using your account to sell it. the chances of getting it un banned are really slim.
Here is why, when you renew your suposed to do the renew and mention durring renewal [while the renew data is active] that your upgrading for more pcs. if you dont they charge you for extra stuff. it is normal since it is worded this way on the webpage.
@ichigo that's game fly for you.
I only pay $5 after $15 for my membership at gamestop. For a year with game fly it's $25/1month so that's $300 per year. I posted earlier that game fly has hidden fees they don't tell you upfront when they advertise on TV. Though why would they? When you sign up they should tell you the prices if they truly are cheaper than retail.
Word of advice just do retail. You might get deprecated value for trade in but if it's same day or a good cashier you might get full value of purchase or allowed to exchange it for little to no fee(depends on store though. I been extremely lucky).
@fred gl with that I tried to get them to stop lieing on their advertisements that say you can play for free the game. By definition free to play means no fee to play the whole game from start to end game. 30 web links in random places later you find hidden on their site it is pay to play not free to play. I went to the BBB of their us location and was told "sorry we can't pressure them cause they have no usa base despite your research. They refuse to answer us due to not being a US company."
They are violating the law and think it's ok.
Spoke to a supervisor today and... NOTHING same scripted response of "sorry you need to contact the seller. We only can tell you what our system says. Its still on route to the distribution center." No offer to call around like asked, no let me send someone to investigate whats going on just nothing but robotic answers. If it doesnt arrive tonight im definitely telling BBB about this once i finish telling the seller about this.
Update: they laughed in my face and removed the tracking number from their system. What are they hiding the fact they stole the package or lost it?
Update 2 days ago they located my package...on the other side of the country. How did it get on the wrong transport? Ether way seems they are fixing this.
2 issues with your complaint.
1. While activision does own blizzard their agreement is that they wont interfere in the workings.
2. Swearing isnt banable unless someone finds it offensive. If someone finds it offensive it is against TOS.
reface is an app that basically scams people of money. there is a free trial but cant use trial without promising to subscribe. you can remove them from billing you via the subscription feed in your google account. all google can do is give a refund if you use the request refund button on the google play store via the reface app store page.
Reface is known to scam money from people. there is a 3 day free trial but you have to promise to get the subscription before you can do the trial. their model of subscription is bill monthly till you paid the year sub price. all google can do is refund after you use the "request refund" button on the reface app store page.
in your google play store app go to your account and look at subscriptions. from there you can remove any subscriptions listed to halt any unwanted apps from billing you.
OP they sent out a email with all the details of the 2 phase authentication program that is being rolled out to protect users. they warned you ahead of time so you know what to expect and walk away from their platform if you wanted to before nov 9th.
looking at the rest of your complaint...all of that was addressed by google in emails and in their forums on how to change them so it doesnt happen. the only thing i know is not modifiable is the authentication.
it sounds like you may not have completely uninstalled office 365. i have not seen this happen before on any computer i work with that has older office versions
it depends actually, some locations are not walk in covid 19 vaccine sites. the CVS you went to maybe a appointment only location. i just checked with a quick search and there are a few in that area that are ether walk in or appointment.
from what i'm reading there is 2 issues. 1. you hang up when asked to hold while their computers pull up your information and input your request so they can give you accurate information. 2. you call again to get a answer that you could have gotten by waiting and get mad when you have to explain again when asked standard support questions?
so your internet keeps disconnecting. open the killer wireless app and verify the settings there. that app in the past kept kicking me out till i checked its settings. its not run by dell/alienware. it seems from what your saying that they didnt do anything wrong. there is no evidence in your post of them being rude or needing to apologize for a setting issue from what i am reading. you didnt give them a chance to fix your issue is what i am reading.
seems they forgot to do that. i would suggest going to the lockpickinglawyer [may have the spelling wrong] on Youtube and review his videos. he is great in legal explanations on how to protect yourself from criminals via testing locks [and i think he had a security tag once].
NOTE: I am not advocating, if it is not legally purchased, crime to get around paying for things. [not that you did that, just covering my butt].
you are aware that they need time to analize the complaint and assess what the company says? if it states closed then that means the company has complied with the complaint. it maybe a glitch so just keep checking it. if they closed it you can contact BBB and ask why you cant respond to the answer.
this is a complaint with sudden link not BBB. sounds like you maybe missed a step or someone didnt finish the close on their end.
this doesnt seem to be a complaint against BBB. this is a hotelvalus.com complaint. some of those sites seem to be shady though. sorry for your issue.
while this complaint is not affiliated with BBB. have you tried the BBB.org website? this is more a forum to complain on the company you have issues with. i dont think BBB even checks complaints board.
this review seems Off, is the complaint origin against AAD or AME? BBB mostly deals with corporations [there are some restrictions. like if the company does not have a US HQ.] to me your complaint against BBB seems shaky. you tell us the complaint starts with AME but then end with AAD... which one is the "offender" to you? the data you supplied Chicago and Washington DC may not have been clear enough for BBB in those locations to accurately determine your need from them. they do throw out complaints for various reasons. this seems to be a incomplete complaint which is dismissable by the BBB.
false claim, BBB does not have unlimited resources. the 400 complaints against a company...depends if its all at once then yes it will drop the rating. if its over span of months then it may or may not drop it depending if the company resolves the issues or if the company doesnt get anymore complaints for a year or more they bring up the rating. as for the 20-20 interview it maybe just your take on what the questions and answers show. if you pose a question that requires a answer that will be seen as guilt then it will look bad on the company. Though it also could be from a employee who was fired. there are many stories out there were a fired employee who was let go has beef with the company for no reason [some i do understand are actual beef but some or fake ones from people who are disgruntled.]
sounds like 2 issues here that seem easy to fix. the first one you bought there should be a CD key that will allow you to use it. the 2nd one about the cd in the cupboard, some cds are made to run then be stored for later. by relaunching the installer it checks the computer and finds out if you have it installed. if it finds one it asks if you want to uninstall. that is from my experience with other company cds.
the coupon part um they cant give you the amount listed after you make a purchase. you need the coupon with you before you purchase things. that i believe is in any store the policy. CVS has special machines around the store that can print your coupons if i recall right that are currently awarded to you for redemption.
as for her greeting to you and her manor in how you explain she was having a bad day. yes she should have not spoken like that about you to others.
what plan did you buy from them [vip, pro, unlimited, combo]? what price were you quoted for 2 years?
now i did a breakdown of just for a year of each one and i dont have [though i didn't add the extra fees in it like maintenance, ad, domain, no wixad, Visitor Analytics, ect] cobo plan per year is close to what you said at £125.95 per year. on the site it mentions 1 year free. so your subscription would end on November 2023. on their site it mentions they bill per month or year depending on what you chose at purchasing. they are billing you for the service after the free year was up. though i could be wrong with the data i found with a quick search.
