second life sucks, i have heard from a friend about the linden labs support. It seems that since they were bought by a bank their support was shafted [a mistake] and for the past few months has been backlogged. At the moment my friend also told me is that they are training more staff to help with the complaint load that has accurd. what i think is that them not allowing us to contact them directly in world is a problem. 2 of my linden friends were fired probly cause i was chatting with them cause we were friends. but i assure you that they are working hard as they can [which is not hard enough] to get to them all. hell i sent in 7 tickets for items from users who dont have access to my land. but eh im used to waiting for them. as to the baby did you clear your cache? did the item's description say it will vanish after a time?

I have to disagree, your point is all over the place.
1. you say the company Aeria Games banned you.
2. you say it was for a infraction on a game. what game? Aeria Games is not a game it is a company with a collective of games.
3. what did you do wrong or allegedly do wrong?
4. what tos did you look at? i have read every revision of the TOS for the games from Aeria Games and i have not seen refernce to " Playing the game is bannable offence".
5.you claim to have evidence that they ban high lvl character accounts. i have in some of my games in aeria games high lvl characters and i havnt been banned.
i have been using them since around 05 as a beta tester and customer and have not been banned. i follow the rules, just like anyone else. only beef i have is that after closed beta they erase the beta testers character from the tested game when it goes live, but that is probably the procedure.
if you did something wrong then you cant get the items. that is what happens when you violate the rules of aeria games. did you in fact violate their rules?
I agree gamer007, I do not stick with companies that do not have good service or shaft their users. 2 companies on my "pissed off list" are jagex ltd and Gaia Online. they both shafted me for silly reasons. Aeria Games has come to me for Beta testing of many games they provide. I give them my opinion and are greatful. they keep coming back to me for testing.
The GM's have a Q&A every fri [i forget the time] and the GMs in it have answered every question we had to the best of their ability. They even thought one of my ideas was great. i have gotten free items from the q&a gms. one of the gms is stormcloud [i only recall storm is the first half of his name], he is a realy kind man. He is the one i told my idea, and he said "That is a realy Great idea." I do not know why you specificaly had problems QualityMonitor from your complaint it sounds like you did not give them about a week to respond. I can understand if they didnt answer for say 2 months, As far as i have seen that is not aeria games.
According to your main comment you bought the account. That is Illegal by the TOS. So that means you don't own the items you bought. You spent 500 euros for the items ok hard earned money, but you made a bad choice to use it on an account that was sold to you. I do not condon you for it, I am just saying that they from what you are saying not obligated to return the money to you.
I spent over $5, 000 USD on my Gaia Online account and they havn't returned it to me cause they think I hacked them. I did nothing agenst the TOS. All they can prove is that the IP Address I log in with was used in taking an account when I was asleep. I lived alone no one accessed my computer. So I should get the money back. I have not cause I "allegedly" broke the TOS that stated you do not get refunds if you break the TOS.
I know for a fact that Aeria Games has a similer clause in the TOS of their games/site.

pkmer4 that is acctualy wrong. minecraft I can't say is better or worse. RuneScape though has become one of the games/companies on my "### list". I gave them everything about my account. creation date, last location, friends, equipment, skills, gold, items in bag, ip address, ips, my rw location, gender of char, appearnce, hair color and length, both emails used on the account, and all the passwords i used on the account. [mind you this i did cause none of them worked strangly and the last one on it means i never changed the password for the account after that code]. Low and behold they say "sorry you are not the owner. we can't give you the account." then few days later accuse me of selling my account, to further prove they have no real customer service they a month later send me a "member loyalty program" email 5 times. I am not loyal to back stabbers who treat their beta testers like trash. Give me my account back or don't talk to me it is that simple.
Above, listen here is the break down i have seen in Aeria Games "staff":
Game Sages: VOLUNTEERS given grace by Aeria Games to act as GUIDES in select games not across games. all they can do is try and assist you. they have no power beyond that. they can however contact a Game Master directly when they are not online to voice something to their attention.
Game Masters: AERIA GAMES EMPLOYEE or administrators, they appear [at least in megaten] on Fridays for Q&A where they listen to the community problems and suggestions, then answer them to the best of their abilities. In the q&a they have been nothing but kind from what i have seen.
i have spoken to friends from other Aeria Games games and they all said they have had no issues with the staff. There may be something the original poster is not telling us about the incident that led to this outcome.

it sounds like you had the wrong password. they changed it recently [soem time in 2010] to needing to be longer then 8 characters long with 1 captital and 1 number in it. is there more to the post since you said to be continued?

QualityMonitor if you have read the TOS of Aeria Games you would know it is a violation of it to post a transcript or keep one of any chat with a Game Sage or Game Master, UNLESS it is for your personal use. I.E. you referencing to it to remember if you have an answer to a question someone else asks.
Comcast in my area in Florida [the state] sucks. I live right on top of the hub for my area [its literally across the street], and my TV/internet crashes about 50 times a day. A DAY. Also they say "if we do not fix the problem on the first try we will give you a $20 credit to your account." their customer garentee. Ok then where is my $120 credit you owe me for a problem I requested 7 techs that was not fixed? they say its "the wiring in the building". BS my building is fiber optic and brand new.
I about 3 years ago left them before xfinity to return to Bellsouth [now at&t] the 50 crashes per day dropped to 1 crash per 3 months. That is 1/1550 crashes per 3 months. that is a drastic change. Recently I checked my bill after I left them for good and got AT&T U-verse and I was shocked. I was paying in total with electric, phone, TV, and apartment about $3, 000 per month. that is pricey while TV is not the service they claim. Soon as I switched to u-verse my speed went up by 99% [their network is all fiber optic to the sub hubs that give you the service. You know the green bins or silver boxes in your area.] My new bill is only about $2500. The service with AT&T U-Verse? TCH I would not suggest anyone better. They have been nothing but nice to me and my family.
I find axe to be a bad product. all in high school my friends sprayed it on there hair and screamed cause it burned their hair. they claimed it didnt hurt but it burned my nose from smelling it. all the "girls" the ads say will want you. avoided them like they had a contagious sickness. they only had GF with girls who felt sorry for them. i checked the ingredients of axe, it has higher amounts of alcochal then other products. my hair cutter said that axe is bad for your hair drys it out due to the alochal.

Sorry for replying so late. It sounds like you were hacked If the account was realy yours. they ask for evidence to prove that the account is yours and to verify if you didn't show any abnormal log ins. say log in from another computer. if you did then they can dispute that. but if you didn't then there is a problem. Did you tell them the date time frame you were not logged in for?
There is one other explanation. it is a common and accepted by 85% of all video game companies to "refresh" accounts from Beta, Alpha, and Gama versions of there games so those testers don't flaunt what they got from the testing that may have bugs in them to players of the consumer version. I had to start from scratch after alpha open/closed and beta open/closed. Yeah I lost allot of nice gear, but i recorded the info on them. when i got the consumer version the stats were higher and better then the old ones.
If you were not a tester then it was a hacker or someone you know may have done it. I am only guessing with the little information you gave on the events leading to this event.

Do research Aeria Games is a company not a game. It is a collection of games created by the company Aeria Games, who FYI is based out of JAPAN.
From what you posted, in bad grammer and sentence structure you did something illegal other then partying in a group of friends who also do no wrong.
i have been with them since they first asked me to beta test even alpha test games for them. Yes they come back to me for testing but i don't get special treatment for it like free stuff.
they erase our [testers] characters out so that we don't exploit the gear we got in each phase of testing. it was in OUR version of a tester TOS.
One of our rules is "when the game goes live you are to follow the consumer TOS, but still report any errors to a GS or GM when you find one on specific times and date."
goes on to say "By accepting these TOS rules you also allow us to erase your account character data to prevent exploiting for the consumer version of the game."
so in fact they are restricting us more then normal players yes but the benefit of this is the data of the lost items.
the beta versions don't have a update code to up the armor from beta to consumer with say a def of +10 and attack of -3 to def +20 and attack -5.
So in fact if they did not erase the char id be selling inferior armor that the player would complain about later to a gm and get banned.
id make money yes but it would become a problem cause my char code is also beta. by erasing them it also forces me to experience things i did not see during testing.

In IMVU Someonespecialloves there is a report button. if you have the recipt they give conferming you compleated it with nothing missing you can send it to imvu to get the credits.
IMVUSUCKS, I have listened to your complaints and tried to be nice about it. from what your saying [which is verry little] you got banned for a reason that this "noob" [who sounds like a not noob] found offencive. You did not set up your access permissions to prevent un wanted guests from entering.
According to IMVU page: http://www.imvu.com/help/help_iframe.php?topic=TopLevelHelp they dont charge money for reactivation if you can proove you did nothing wrong. you can go to the BBB if you feel they wrongly terminated your account. again you need all relivant data to proove your the owner and own the account. i looked at oher aras of the tos and such and found no indication of a activation fee.
I also asked a friend who works for IMVU and they said "Your joking right? Someone posted we charge $200 to reactivate an account that was banned for some reason they did not do? They must be making things up. The only time we charge for anything like that is if we can't proove they actualy own the account, but we don't charge $200 for it." why not use the 2 paths I posted then complain.

Ok now i can see the order of the events. 1st off it sounds like to me you took too long to request the money back. I belive I recall from a chat [it has been about 9 years] with a imvu personel that a hacked account that purchased credits has 3 days after the report is sent and account returned to the owner if there was a illegal transaction. i could be wrong, but after the grace period they can ban you because the process of verifying they sale is complete.
For hacked accounts i think they procss the request 2 times. one with the back [the origenal take of money], then when a hacking is claimed they internaly investigate the request. if they find a discrepency then they will allow a money recall. If they find no discrepency it is ended and the case is closed.
AGAIN it may have changed in 9 years, si this may be wrong. DO NOT imediatly say i am protecting the companey, even though i do support them. when i am not positive of my answer i tell only what i know.
