Planet Fitness review: Metal stems that allow you to change weight sizes

The stems on machines to change weight sizes at the Irondequoit location Rochester NY on E. Ridge Rd are missing on at least 15 machines. Spoke with your people at desk they are aware of the problem. They have none to give out.
As I have just returned back to the gym it's annoying to have to go and find one on a machine. Then you have to carry it around to use on other machines. Spending more time looking for the stems/rods than working out.
Suggestions if people are taking them home
1. When you sign in have employees give out the stem & must be returned upon leaving
2. Attach to a heavier cord so they can't be removed
3. Put sensor in the so the alarm rings if someone is taking them upon leaving
