My daughter started at Planet Fitness in Pretoria. The guy that assisted her, promised her that the contract was only for 3 months and that they would contact her after the 3 months to see if she wants to continue.
She was not explained at any time that this is a full contract for a year. Now she has to pay R1500 for cancellation fees.
She also tried to make contact the guy at the gym that assisted her, but he is not working at the gym anymore.
My daughter is on a student budget, I am absolutely disgusted in the way that this matter has been handled.
Will never ever recommend anyone to Planet Fitness.
Desired outcome: Discount on the cancellation fee as false information was given to her by the gym.
