It was the perfect night for pizza, cold and rainy. My daughter suggested pizza hut as the girls wanted the "stuffed crust". After several trys at the "national phone number", she finally got a person on the other end of the phone. The girl spoke very very poor english but my daughter was polite and patient. She ordered a Medium 3 topping stuffed crust pizza and then proceeded to ask if there was a "special" drink or wing deal. She wanted ice tea. She was told unoquivically NO. NO specials tonight. The pizza finally arrived within the time aloted. To my SHOCK...the price was 44.90 cents without tip!! That's right 45.00 dollars for a medium pizza and a few wings!!!
When we opened the box the pizza was half hanging outside the box and stuck to the lid. The wings where dropped inside the cardboard box with a half azzed attempt to put sause over them. ( I took pictures). Okay, thats pretty bad...but the real problem came when we customer service. Customer service directed us back to the store. When asked what is the point of your division if you don't help? The girl was rude and tried to connect us. Unsuccessfully of course...what then proceeded was a gong show of calling numbers being transferred and being put on hold. The last time we were on hold was for 35 mins...no exhaturation!! WE could here that business was happening while we were on hold. Finally a man with again very poor english came on the line and as my daughter politeley told him what the problem was he basically told her she was a liar. He said. "I assure you maam, I packed that pizza myself and there is no way it came the way you described". Okay, now I now I am getting irritated. I took the phone from my daughter and explained to him that he needed to come and pick up his pizza and wings untouched and bring back our $45 dollars as this was unexceptable. That is when things really got scary. He flat out said he would not refund any money and that we were lying. He then proceeded to tell us how many times we ordered from his store which was twice. Not bad since we had just recently bought the house. He was rude beligerant and flat out unhelpful. He told us all the things he couldn't do for us and when I asked him what he could do for us, he agreed that he would send out a new order. Not really acceptable but feeling we had just been robbed agreed to it. Not that we would eat the food he would send because we knew in our hearts he would have done something bad to it. Anyway as it turned out, we didn't have to worry about it because he lied. He never came with a new pizza order or called back, in fact we never heard a peep from him. So 45 dollars lighter and a table full of cold nasty squished pizza and rubber non saused wings...we made grilled cheese sandwhiches.
NEVER as long as I live will I order from PIZZA HUT IN HANSON RANCH CALGARY AGAIN. THESE PEOPLE ARE THE POSTER CHILDREN FOR HOW NOT TO RUN A BUSINESS AND i WILL BE TELLING EVERY PERSON I KNOW AND ANYONE WILLING TO LISTEN HOW THEY RIPPED US OFF AND THEN CALLED US LIARS. WE WERE JUST A HUNGRY FAMILY LOOKING FOR A PIE ON RAINY COLD NIGHT!! THIS ISN'T THE LAST YOU WILL HEAR OF US PIZZA HUT HANSON RANCH!!!
