Pier 1 Imports Campaign desk

Received the desk damaged and couldn't contact anyone at pier 1 ... tried for days! I even sent an email and never received a reply. ( sent it numerous times) stayed on phone for almost an hour only to be told they are not OPENED! What are you suppose to do when you pay for it and its damaged? Tried going to store and they brushed me off and said "it's not their problem "!

Pier 1 Imports Outdoor bradley 4 piece dining set

I ordered the outdoor Bradley 4 piece dining set online, order #W1512306305. After 2 days, I received an email stating items in my order were cancelled and to call customer service if I had questions regarding cancellation. I called [protected]. The automated answering service said hold times were approximately 20 min. After being on hold 3 hours (see pic) I had to hang up. Pier 1 was my favorite store, I will never shop there again and want my money back for the table and swingasan chair I purchased last week, order #W1512244677. Three hours on hold is unacceptable, Especially when I spent $1, 200.

Pier 1 Imports Damaged and missing goods

I placed an order on 04/02/2020, it arrived 04/14/2020. W1512175189.
I have made many attempts including emailing to resolve this issue without success.
I intended my order as a gift for someone recovering health issues.

When my order arrived it was missing item:
* Li Bien blue Floral Egg Ornament.
*Item: Natural Sitting Carved Bunny was smashed.
- As well as being broken in transit due to not being wrapped - It was also smashed prior to being boxed - as parts of it that are broken are not even present in the box. The item was sent in a broken condition. This is a breach of contract, misrepresentation and the sale of defective goods is illegal.
The store code on my invoice is: 4901.
I would like a full refund for the item which I did not receive and a full refund for the defective and broken ornament.
I have attached my invoice and some images of the defective and broken ornament.

Pier 1 Imports my order and customer service

I placed an order because Rakuten sent me an email about 10% cash back at Pier 1. I placed the order then the store called to say they were floor model items and said I can order them new online. They also said I would get my coupon code and member rewards back. I did get my rewards but not the coupon code, so I called customer service for assistance. They would not give me a code and said they had to place the order for me, I realized while on the phone that I wasn't getting my Rakuten cash back and said to cancel it. The CS rep said she couldn't help me and I had to ask for a supervisor. The lead, Melissa, was no help either. She said it was too late the order was already placed and that the loss of my Rakuten cash back was not her issue. I only ordered because of Rakuten. Pier 1 just lost a long time customer and card holder. I will be returning the $500 order to the store as soon as it is received.

I am happy to say that I received a call from Stephanie at Pier 1 and she was able to resolve the issue I had. She offered to give me a 10% discount on my order to make up for the 10% lost previously. She also said she will follow up on the issue I had with Melissa, the lead customer service representative. Melissa’s lack of concern and disregard for me was the main reason for my complaint and was willing to write off Pier 1 and not shop there again. Customer service is still very important, even in an online shopping environment. I am happy with the resolution. Thank you, Stephanie, for your quick response.

Pier 1 Imports credit payment

I opened a new credit account July 11, 2019. I sent my payment in late because they did not send a bill until after the due date. They charged a late fee and interest which I paid - 10 days before it was due. They sat on the 'late fee' payment until it was past due and sent me a late fee charge on the late fee + interest. This is a scam! I now see that this has happened before.

Pier 1 Imports unfair treatment of employees

My wife works at this specific pier 1 store. She has worked there for over a year now. Her as well as other employees have made consistent complaints about the managers there by the names of Jason and Michael. They constantly harrass my wife and the other employees and talk down to them constantly. My wife has literally called me crying while Im deployed to Iraq because of this. I am getting sick and tired of the abuse and If this matter isn't handled promptly I will be taking legal action against your company. You should be ashamed of this.

Pier 1 Imports canceling an order

I ordered 5 items and my husband and I decided to cancel. I checked my acct and there was no shipping tracking number given and had not been shipped out. I called and was on hold for quite a lengthy that I chose the option to text because it said you get "faster results"...more than 8 hours later I'm told that "since you did not cancel within the 60 minute Grace period you are unable to cancel." What Grace period is this I looked everywhere and this should be written onsite for customers!? No wonder it took more than 8 hours for a response. Card ripped thrown away. Done. Too many problems with pier 1 from customer service, received broken shattered items, and now a grave period of 60 mi it's a I had no knowledge of and couldn't find. The items will be returned and I've closed my acct. There are many more places to shop without the hassle!

Glad they are closing. Over-priced items anyway. Ordered on-line before they announced they were closing. Estimated arrival stated on he website was in 7-days. I have tried to contact these folks for over a week. The chat doesn't work and they are totally blaming COVID-19 on their lack-luster customer service. Other companies are at least able to get you to a human.

PIER ONE -----GOOD RIDDANCE!

Pier 1 Imports credit card application

I applied online for a Pier 1 credit cart to complete an order for draperies.

I was informed online that a Pier 1 credit card would soon be sent to me in the mail.

Instead I received a letter from Comenity Bank (Ref. no. [protected]),
stating that "we are unable to continue processing your application for a Pier 1 Imports credit account until you contact us directly to verify the information provided".

And, further to "please contact us within 14 days from the date of this letter. If you do not contact us within 14 days, we will be unable to give further consideration to your credit request".

Well, let me advise you Pier 1, I have never been denied credit and have an excellent credit rating. So, you can keep your charge account application and the draperies I wanted to purchase until the sun don't shine.

Extremely disappointed in your online service and conundrum in trying to apply for a Pier 1 Credit Card!

I got a Pier 1 credit card before the holidays it's now in the garbage ripped up and I called to close my account. 3 complaints is the magic number. Consider yourself lucky! There are much better stores who actually take care of their customers.

Be GLAD that they turned you down! Comenity is the WORST financing company EVER! They never post your payments on time, so they can charge you a late fee. Their supposed "same as cash" financing is NOT the case at all! They charge you interest right from the beginning, even though they aren't supposed to, and then tell you that you didn't pay the correct amounts, so they switched you from "promotional" to "revolving", to cover their butts on why they are charging interest on a "12 months-same as cash" deal. Stay FAR, FAR, AWAY, from Comenity Bank, and all of the cards that they finance. Some of the stores are: Gardner-White Furniture, MOST of the Jewelry stores (Kay's, Zales, Charles Warren, JTV, etc...) Pier1, Meijer, Abercrombie & Fitch, Bed, Bath, & Beyond, Big Lots, Crate & Barrel, David's bridal, DSW, Fashion Bug, Forever 21, Game Stop, HSN, JCrew, Marathon gas, Pottery barn, and SOOO many more! Just beware people!

Pier 1 Imports purchased the avanti coffee table

My wife Ordered online the Avanti Blue wing chair. She was told it wasn't available but would be able to pick up in Delmar in a few days To my dismay the chair we had ordered was sat on the floor with two kids standing on it The Avante once we got it home has marks and scratches all down one side
I own a business I am a professional this would never happen
I doubt very much to hear from this company I will however place much information within the Internet understanding my business is an Internet surfing company
To finish it off the employee health paying could not care less
Staff 0% customer satisfaction 0% if you do want to contact [protected] is my cell or just look up M20 San Diego you'll find me

Pier 1 Imports dining set

I order a gray round dinning table from store in Flushing NY. It was a set with 4 gray chairs but when they delivered it was a green table with gray chairs I complained but since I expected company they left it and promised are going to exchange it with a gray table. When I contacted they said I have to pay for the return but I contested and finally they are going to exchange it on Sat.
I would like to request compensation for all the inconvenience they caused me and when I had my house warming party it was so embarrassing to have the whole brand new kitchen gray and the table green. I paid $1000. For the set and I was so embarrassed with my friends and relatives it completely ruined my party. Please arrange for proper compensation.

Pier 1 Imports they are highly unprofessional

I found a lovely chair on Pier 1 Imports website and ordered it. It was a birthday gift for my grandmother and I was very excited about my purchase.
It was a bit way too expensive but since it was a present for a dear family member I was ok wit the price.
One week later they contacted me and said that there was a mistake on their website and that my chair was not in stock. They offered me a refund and I agreed. I'm writing this to warn others about Pier 1 Imports! They are highly unprofessional and I would not recommend such a company to anyone.

Pier 1 Imports my seats looked terrible after only couple of weeks

I bought two lounge seats from the company Pier 1 Imports Inc couple of weeks ago. I was shocked that the company sold me terrible quality seats. The seats looked like they were 10 years old and looked completely worn and wanted to change them. I sent the pics to the seller and told that I don’t have a lot of people or kids, so no one could destroy these seats so badly. So, it was terrible quality. The seller still hasn’t replied to my complaints. Don’t buy – bad quality.

Pier 1 Imports store staff

I have been shopping at Pier 1 for over 15 years, and I can't believe how much it has changed... and not for the better! It used to be staffed by professional looking and acting salespeople, but it has really gone down hill the past year, year and a half.
The staff used to be very professional looking, neat, and friendly. Now, they look like any other staff at a casual store: visible tattoos, leggings (!), head scarfs, open backed shoes. My niece used to work there, and they used to have a strict, professional dress code. I guess Pier 1 is gearing its staff more toward the younger crowd, and not to us long time customers.
I also guess there is new management, which may be the reason for this new "look". I used to see a lot of the management staff on the sales floor regularly, but not anymore. I'm lucky to see one salesperson. If they need a manager, they always have to call for one. I miss the "regulars" who used to be in management. The gals were always so friendly, and knew their stuff!
I've also had problems with the new online ordering, which is really being pushed at the store. My last order came in broken, but it was exchanged with no problem. The guy who helped me said this is a common problem, which makes me hesitant to order online again. At least I didn't have to pay for shipping.

We purchased a Rattan kitchen set, and the paint or laquer is peeling off everywhere (chairs & table). We went back to the store in Ottawa where the item was purchased and was directed to this site. Very unsatisfied.

During the 2009 christmas shopping season, I sent out several people to different Pier 1 Imports stores around Rockford, Ill and Chicago to find the 2009 christmas orniment (the glass car with the tree on top) none of us could find it and that made me very sad..

I went on line to respond to the feedback after making two purchases at my local Pier 1. I can not find the survey to receive my $10.00 OFF MYNEX $50 PURCHASE. My receipt showes a redemption code, but no number. One receipt is Store #1540 Reg. #4 Trans $2411 and the other is Store #1540 Reg #1 Trans #1186.

Pier 1 Imports online

First they cancelled an order without notifying me. Then their delivery service did not show up or call on the day of the scheduled delivery. They have terrible communications with customers — I have had to contact them repeatedly to find out the status my order, and even when they promise to look into a problem (such as the missed delivery) and get back to me, they don't. 4 weeks (and counting) to get an order delivered. Merchandise in the store is fine, but ordering online has been a very frustrating and time-consuming experience.

Online ordering has not improved! Customer service is AWEFUL! I guess Pier One does not need sales. I have been shopping her for years. I ordered a headboard and received confirmation. After calling the store several times, finally the store manager informs me that my order was canceled. She basically told me that I should have gotten an email informing me that my order was canceled and it was not her problem. Called customer service and they stated that the warehouse should have notified me and oh well. DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING ONLINE and expect to get any type of customer service.

Pier 1 Imports lack of staff

I am an employ at this store and the stock room is under staff all the time. 1 or 2 stock personnel is not enough to deal with the 8 different jobs that need to bed one at once. There is a lack of communication this Job is not worth the money. I finish college I have a masters and I never thought it would be this hard to get a job in my field. Over all this store sucks I say go to one in Brooklyn or queens the pier 1 over there are much better and fully stock.

I can't comment on staffing, but if the writer is a high school graduate I'd be surprised, there's no way they have a college degree. Get real, learn to speak and write properly and maybe you can move up from a position as a stock clerk.

Pier 1 Imports defective item

Pier 1 in Bolingbrook is having a moving sale which everygthing was 60%. I puchased throw from them and it was final sale due to moving sale. Throw was folded with ties around it and was wrapped so I couldnt open it or it appeared to be brand new. I knew about the final sale but when I came home and opened the throw, all the fringes were tangled and I was unable to detangle and it began to shed and created tiny holes. I called the store and explained that they need to refund me cuz this item should not been a sale. They claimed that it was my fault for not checking the blanket and that it was the final sale. I told them, theres no sign indicating that I need to open all the items before I purchase and I trusted the store that they are selling the stuff that are not defected and since it was wrapped, I couldnt open at the store. this is what I get for trusting the store product and now getting penalized. I will never shop at pier 1 anymore. I loved the store and I enjoyed shopping there but they lost my trust and bad service. I will pass onto my friends and family about their bad serive.

Pier 1 purchase of $350 required a credit limit on their Pier 1 Chase credit card since there was an outstanding balance of $220 which was not due yet. Credit limit was raised but short by $29 to cover new purchase. Most of my "normal" credit cards have limits of over $20, 000! Unbelievable, took 20 minutes in the store for this. Greg in Ohio

Pier 1 Imports fraud alert

I shopped in the Pier 1 in Victoria today for a few items including beaded boxes as stocking stuffers for my grandchildren. They were 25% off for this week but on leaving the store I realised that I hadn't been given the discount. You could not see the items being purchased on the computer screen so didn't notice at the time. I went back in to then join a line-up of about 5 people. 2 people were on the tills but both had insumountable problems it seemed. I waited between l5-20 mins to finally get up to the till. I explained what had happened, the girl rather glowered at me then went and checked the prices only to find that I was correct. She then proceeded to try and change the receipt with the help of a very grumpy store manager (I think she was the manager). Finally I got my refund and the paper work was handed back to me without a word of apology whatsoever. I can understand how the mistake was made but it could have been handled nicely with a "oh my goodness, I'm so sorry" instead of the grouchy attitude I encountered. I won't be going back there again.

I was very dissapointed w/hampton va. Im in the process of redecorating my home. I went into the store and was look down upon, to me I was not up to their standars of a customer! But thank you! I found a store that empolees were eagar to help and boy did their store make out. Employees need to remember: don't judge a book by its cover! Hampton lost out on a Very larg purchase because they wouldn't give me the time of day!

Pier 1 Imports stay away

My complaint is terrible line up service! also should have more cashiers on at this time of year. only 2 were going in prime time! And there was 2 other cashier spots. not even a bagger! and she sis not even tissue paper some of the items which should have bin wrapped up for protection!

Pier 1 Imports got taken

I returned some merch and had a credit of about 50.00. I then bought something else and wanted them to use that credit. I received a bill for that purchase which meant they never gave me the credit. I payed the bill and then bought something else and told them once again to use that credit. I then again received a bill for that purchase which meant they once again did not give me the credit that's owed to me. I went to that store will the bill and they said they could not do anything about it. They gave me Capital Ones phone number and told me that I would have to contact them because they take care of all the billing. Every time I called that number I got a recording that had nothing to do with me wanting to talk to someone about Pier Ones bill. I proceeded to go directly to Capital Ones bank but they also could not do anything to help me.in the meantime I ended up with a late fee of $25.00 for not paying on my $50.00 purchase. I will never shop at Pier One again. The customer service sucks. I feel like Pier One should have done something to help me. I still have a $50.00 credit there but I'm afraid to use it as I'll probably get ripped off again.
