PetSmart review: Total neglect of aquatic tanks and fish

The tanks were all gross with algae, dead fish on the bottom, stuck to the filter, crickets jumping around, tank decor flipped over and just tossed in tanks.

The betta fish in the containers, all the containers, were disgusting. Found 4-5 that were on their way out. 2-3 with rotten fins. Horrible to see.

Along with the tanks that were gross, were multiple employees sitting around on their phone, acting like there wasn’t anything to do.

Considering hiring on, cleaning these poor tanks up, and quitting. This was horrible to see; my 4 friends who went in with me agree.

Desired outcome: This place needs to get their s*** together. This is NOT acceptable for a pet store. Clean the tanks!! Fix the decor! These fish need plants and things to hide in. Makes it hard when everything is flipped over
