Beware of Peak Vista Dental Health Center at 2828 International Circle, Suite 100. They reuse gloves and equipment on multiple patients without cleaning or disposing of them. Also, one of the assistants is extremely rude!

This place is really bad and the folks here will gossip about you and make your job even worse. If the manager doesn't like you or if you're not one of their favorites, they'll do everything they can to get you fired. The nurse at HCIC, ***, was the absolute worst. She actually threw a needle and a glass bottle at me. When I reported it to the manager, I ended up getting fired. I really wish I could share what she said about me.

If I could leave a negtive review I would. Took my 87 year old mother to her appointment to be told it was canceled. They said we had canceled it and I know we did NOT. I waited for the director who is NOT the brightest bulb in the bunch and showed multiple proofs that we indeed did NOT cancel the appointment, he said there was nothing he could do and all appointments were full. I called the office and spoke to a supervisor who confirmed that we indeed did NOT cancel the appointment. I do NOT recommend this place for any reason medical or otherwise. Disrespect from the director at the Academy location was all we got.

They don't care about patient healthcare. I needed transportation to get my surgery in *** on the 22nd Friday. My transportation faxed the form and called, but it didn't work for 4 days before. Then they told me my doctor was gone for 2 days and just got back, and now has a full schedule. I was stressed out and even went to the clinic to talk to the front desk. They said the fax was wrong, but I checked and it was right. Then they gave me an email, but still no response. Now I have no transportation for my surgery. But thanks to people I don't even know who offered their time to take me, I will find another doctor and leave Peak Vista because they have the worst patient care!

It's really hard to get an appointment at Peak Vista Community Health Centers. And when you finally do, some of the staff who handle patient sign-ups don't seem to know what they're doing. They told me I didn't have insurance and even checked with my insurance company to confirm it was canceled. They insisted I pay $150 or cancel my appointment. But just 5 minutes later, I double-checked with my insurance company and it turns out the staff had used the wrong information to verify (even though they had a copy of my card). They always seem to mess up when it comes to following through with care plans. The communication between staff members is just terrible. And when you finally find someone to follow up on the referrals they were supposed to make for you but didn't, they always say, "someone will call you tomorrow." But that never happens. This has happened more than once. And when you complain to the main office, nothing ever gets done. It's like they don't care about the patients at all.

I don't feel the doctors take my health seriously because I tested negative for Covid, and even when I had the symptoms and other symptoms, they ignored them. My husband had to complain, and finally got an appointment just to tell me I had Covid, which I did not because if I did, I would have been in the hospital because of all my health problems. Unfortunately, I had to fly to Delaware to take care of my dad, and once he was better because a medication caused his kidney to shut down. Anyway, once I got home that week, I threw up blood for the second time, but this time it was black. If the doctors did their job, I still wouldn't be suffering in pain and having severe anxiety attacks, which I told them about the medication I used to take, but they keep pushing me on Buspar. I researched it, and I don't want to try it, and they only give me 5 tablets of Xanax and tell me to make it last. Well, that caused me to have more anxiety attacks because I went back to see Sarah Martin, and she refilled it with only 5 tablets. I can't even drive to take care of my horses because of the anxiety attacks, and I even asked people who have the same problem as I do, and they tell me it's because the doctors are getting a kickback on Buspar, and that's why they are pushing me and not giving me the medication that does work for my brain. It's an unbalanced chemical, and that's why it is helping. I shouldn't have this problem with the doctor, and I feel they don't care. I seriously need a lawyer to see if they can help because I shouldn't feel ashamed about my anxiety attacks.

The Urologists in Colorado Springs don't see Medicaid patients at their private clinics. They gotta give some time at Peak Vista where they do see Medicaid patients. Peak Vista doesn't let Medicaid patients see these urologists unless they come from an emergency room referral (and only within 2 weeks), or their own doctors at Peak Vista. If Peak Vista ain't the patients' main doctor, they won't take referrals from "outside," and won't schedule or let Medicaid patients see the urologists. Peak Vista is stopping Medicaid patients from getting care.

A Provider at the *** clinic, Talia *** misdiagnosed my prescription. I had been seeing her from January until March . My displeasure started when I was first scheduled with her by accident for a physical when I previously scheduled my appointment with customer service for the women's health clinic. When seeing her, she was disinterested in things i had to say regarding my health and concerns. She prescribed me medication which I tried for a month before trying something new. The next prescription started March 4th and i proceeded for a week. I started noticing more agitation and anxiety which resulted in several panic attacks, in which I haven't had in 10 years. One of which occured on a plane before a flight. Come to find out that the prescription she gave me was switched. She was intending to prescribe me 150mg per day for four days and 300mg one a week. Instead, I received thirty, 300mg pills and four, 150mg pills. In result, i had been taking double my intended dosage per her mistake.
