Outback Steakhouse Food/ management

We went to outback 8/11/2019. Approximately 8:30 pmFirst once we sat down took forever to get service. Service was skow and irritating to say the least.we ordered the loaded blooming onion, it sucked, it was over cooked, fries wasnt done and overtook the onion, cheese was cold and hard, maybe a teaspoon of bacon bits and bad greasy. . When we finally received our foor, the ribeye my husband had ordered as 1/2 thick and bad salty, he couldnt eat it, i ordered the sirloin with shrimp, the sirloin was almost twice as thick as my husbands. I bit into my shrimp and it tasted like dirty grill char and it had a hair wrapped around it, shrimp was very small also. I couldnt finish my meal. Made a complaint to the manager, he made excuse that the seasoning on the steak is salty and we should have ordered it with lite seasoning (never had a problem before) he apologized for the hair, he took the shrimp off my bill and gave us his employee discount and some kind of card for $20. This wasnt enough im sorry but our meal should have been free. Our night was ruined and the hair on my shrimo still makes me nauseous.

Outback Steakhouse Rewards from purchased entrees

Hi
I've been to a few of your branches and had meals over $50 and the attendant said she would apply the points to my phone number so that I could get half off my next meal. Every time they told that they allied the points they lied. I just visited an Outback in Massachusetts and they told me I have to purchase one more meal. I don't get it how they lie and I can't get the reward that I'm owed. I've had several meals so I should have half off of three meals by now

Outback Steakhouse Steak and tilapia

I asked two times for the steak to be well done for my first meal and when I got home it was bloody the mashed potatoes was watery as my side my second meal was disgusting the tilapia with crab meat on top was greasy and gushy the rice was hard everything was horrible just was a horrible experience and dinner for me i'm not satisfied! I'm not looking forward to coming back to outback and I prefer not to ever go again. My pink lemonade had also a problem it had sooooooo much sugar that I thought I was going to get diabetes last night! I was very disappointed it was like my first meal that I thought I was going to enjoy but I guess not! I don't know if it was because they was rushing so they can clock out to go home I don't know! But that wasn't a good thing because i'm sure they wouldn't want to be in my shoes!

Outback Steakhouse Horrible service

We arrived and were told very rudely to "go find our own seat". We were not spoken to by a waiter for 15 minutes. The manager finally came to us and smelled terribly of smoke .ordered a blooming onion for a appetizer and it was not brought out until I asked for it when I got my steak. I had to request my sides to be brought out. The steak was under cooked and the blooming onion was severely over cooked and uneatable.

Outback Steakhouse Chopped steak meal

My daughter and I were celebrating a bit of a good news and decided to go to Outback for a bite to eat. The waitress was very nice, but when we ordered our meals (we both had the same thing), she asked if we wanted the regular sides, mashed potatoes and broccoli. When we mentioned salad she didn't say it was an extra charge. We would have preferred the salad over the broccoli.
When our meal arrived it was a lump of chopped unidentifiable meat with a bit of gravy. Very unappetizing. Then there was the taste. I highly suggest you take this off your menu as it seems, at $13.99, to be nothing more than a bunch of leftover meat. Neither of us ate much as the flavor was not good. This is a disappointing event. We have had good experiences at Outback in the past, but considering this visit, we may not be back.

Outback Steakhouse Unethical

My daughter and myself decided to go eat lunch to celebrate my birthday she wanted to treat me. We got there and the host told us that the wait would be awhile for 2. It was one lady waiting then us. We were not in any rush. We set down patiently waiting. 2 younger females walked in about 10 min after us waiting A guy came around asking how many people were waiting my daughter mentioned 2 so he was aware that we were there. Before we knew it the two younger females got seated. Remind you we are still waiting. I hate to make color an issue because people like to bring that up these days but in this situation I had to have been. I am black and the younger ladies where white. I wanted to bring it to the guys attention that we were here before them and let him know that that was very rude. My daughter did not want me to cause a scene so we politely got up and left.

Outback Steakhouse Time on lunch to get food

2 of us came in for lunch and sat at the bar at 11:06 am. We were the first customers in the restaurant. After our drinks had to get replaced because they were wrong we ordered. We knew what we wanted when we sat down due to use being regular customers. Our order was put in at 11:16. Had to get up and get our silverware because the server was too busy. We got our bread around 11:30 and our food at 11:50. We only get a lunch hour so we were very unhappy with how long it took and that we only got 10 minutes to eat. Also asked to speak with the manager twice and he was too busy to come talk.

Outback Steakhouse Service

After an expected wait for our table, once we were being seated my son slipped while getting to his chair (luckily didn't fall to the floor). The floor beneath his chair had a large pool of liquid that appeared to have soap as there were bubbled at the top. Our waitress approached, inquired what we were looking at and then said something to the effect of 'oh, I guess you want me to clean it.' she proceeded to leave, came back with a rag, wiped the floor and asked if we were happy, so I said yes. She then left, returned several minutes later with bread, three clean dishes and one very dirty plate and left. About ten minutes later she came back, apologized because the table next to us 'kept asking for stuff' and asked for our orders. We then ordered drinks and she said (with her first eye roll), 'oh, I didn't realize. Let me get those for you, ' and she left. Several minutes passed and she returned, took our order and didn't seem to appreciate a question I had about portion size on a salad (second eye roll). Several minutes passed and she returns to tell my husband that they don't have any more burgers. My husband says, okay, I just won't get anything, which upon we received our third eye roll. Many more minutes passed, possibly about ten to fifteen, a salad was brought to the table (wasn't mine), then a second salad was quickly brought to the table (wasn't mine), then after several more minutes my salad arrives. I wait another five to ten minutes to ask for silverware... Fourth eye roll and was told that someone else was supposed to have brought them to our table. My main dish came out and was missing its side... Fifth eye roll. Should I mention that my alice springs chicken was burnt under the melted cheese? We ask for a container to carry home the remainder of my son's dinner, receive the dish, and have to wait another five to ten minutes to ask for our check. Our waitress brings the check and begins clearing our table while we are still sitting there finishing and looking over the check. When she finished we through cash in the check envelope and headed for the door. The only positive I can say is that she was good about keeping our drinks filled and quick with the bread. Also want to point out, the table next to us a gentleman had a burger and the inside was completely red (he left it on the table and we could hear him grumble when he walked out). The other table next to us received desert before their meals... We could also hear their unhappiness verbalized. Soooooo dissapointed with an evening out for our family.

Outback Steakhouse Service and product

This is part two of my experience from june 30, 2019

My name is stacey leach
Email: [protected]@gmail.com

Server was rude - she never came back to the table, in which I did not get what I had ordered - but she never came back, as the food got cold, I just went ahead and ate the chicken, but had ordered steak and shrimp. No manager around to help me out. It was sooo crowded that I could not get the attention of anyone.
After getting my drink order wrong, and then getting mad at me because she had to go back to the bar to get the right one (which was wrong, again the 2nd time around) I just drank it the beer.

We waited 15 mins to get the check to finally be able to talk to someone about it.. When we finally got the bill, of course what I ordered was on there, but not brought to me. We waited and waited and waited for her to come back but she never did. I believe the lady that finally came by, may have been mgr on duty, I am not sure because she swept in grabbed my credit card and bill and took it up for payment. Never even looked at us. Waited another 15 mins for somebody to bring back my card, hoping that maybe then I could explain the problems and issues, perhaps get my bill corrected, or whatever. Did not happen. The guy that brought out our food from the kitchen brought me back the receipt, but not my credit card. Had to flag him down to get my card. It was my birthday, the waitress knew it, but I did not get that special birthday from the crew. I was excited to finally get to go to the outback steakhouse, been waiting 2 months, excitedly for the day, and she just ruined it. I am a senior guest care manager for the marriott international hotel, uptown charlotte, so I know good, and bad customer service all to well. And frankly, the service there was atrocious! I got home and I cried. So let down. So angry!
I am expecting an email back from wherever, or whoever gets this. I think I deserve that much. Compensation for my dinner, or at least another chance to fix this horrible experience, with a credit.
Thank you for listening.
Stacey leach

Outback Steakhouse Restaurant

Terrible don't even begin to describe how I was treated here today. Took my family out to dinner had a decent meal the burger was smaller than usual did not complain the buns were like if it was left out for days did not complain. Once we were done we asked for the check paid and left a great tip as always. Got home checked my bank to make sure I got payed today guess what I see Outback charged me for my meal then charged me again more than triple my meal . I called that moment and asked for a manager I spoke to someone by the name of Frank whom was very rude asked what's going on with the unauthorized charge he said looks like we accidently charged you for another customer I asked how can that happen he said laughing I don't know you know things happen and now its my problem, my problem are you kidding me Frank was very rude and used my payment method without authorization. I will be filing complaints with all agencies this is unacceptable.

Outback Steakhouse Dayton ohio outback terrible experience

My wife and 3 kids took me to your restaurants in Dayton for a Fathers day brunch. Our bill was $95. We got a few salads with ranch dressing. The ranch was so spicy that none of us could eat it. I had to ask other waiters and waitresses to have my waiter come to the table because he never checked on us one time, and then informed my waiter Bradley L and he said oh we're just so busy they probably added too many spices to it and took our salads, and did not offer replacement. I ordered the 10 oz filet meal and my wife ordered the 6 oz sirloin meal. Both of our steaks were so overly seasoned and spicy hot that we could not eat those. I again informed Bradley of the issue and that we would like new ones with less spice. He again said that they were just so busy they probably over-seasond everything. A manager brought our new steaks to us with NO seasoning at all and told us that Outback is pushing for over seasoning everything all over the country. Not once were our drinks offered to be refilled nor did my wife get her piece of cheesecake that was supposed to come with her meal. I was so fed up with the problems and was sweating because the restaurant seemed to have air conditioning issues, (and on top of that, not one employee said Happy Father's Day or did we get suggested of any deals if there were any) that I did not ask for the cheesecake or more drinks or new steaks with some seasoning like I had asked my waiter for. We have eaten at Outback in and around the Columbus Ohio area for many years as that's where we lived, and have never had any issues with the food or the poor customer service. We met at the Dayton Ohio restaurant because I am currently working in Indiana and that was a good halfway point for us to meet.

Outback Steakhouse Carry out

We ordered food from this restaurant for Father's Day, for our family. My daughter arrived at the pick up area to wait for our food about 20 minutes after ordering. About 40 minutes later no one had came out with our food, so our daughter went inside to see what the holdup was. The person she spoke to said it would take a few minutes longer, so while she was inside she paid for our food. About 20 more minutes later, still no food, and our daughter observed the person she spoke to, coming out of the restaurant and proceeded across the street headed toward the transit mall, where you can catch a bus. Our daughter again went inside, and a supervisor just taking her shift asked if she could help her, she said yes I have been waiting for my food for about an hour, the supervisor went to check on it, and another employee told the supervisor that" someone came in and grabbed some bags to take to customers outside waiting, and they must have given our food to the wrong customer." The supervisor then asked our daughter if she would like to wait another 30 minutes to have another one prepared. Our daughter told her no, just refund her money. She said ok and replied that she would send a gift card in the mail tomorrow. We have been frequent customers here, and enjoy the food, but after this we are wondering if we will ever go back, after ruining this Father's Day.

Outback Steakhouse Service of our waiter in hot springs ark store

We came in this Saturday night around 8:15 to Outback in Hot Springs Arkansas. We sat at the bar for a bit then was transferred to a table. We have the rudest, disrespectful Waiter ever. He said his name was Brandon. He had to be 5'9 - 6 footish. Salt and pepper hair with a goatee. He was unprofessional and over heard him talking about his sexual relations he had before. Along with only checked on us once and it seemed as if We inferred with his time by ordering and being there. He couldn't get us out of there quicker. He got very rude with my fiancee once he saw the tip that was left for his service. We both worked in the service industry aswell.vee both know how important our tips are. Also why its needed to give great service to receive those tips. But this service from this server was absolutely horrible and atrocious. Something needs to done about this guy or more negative reviews and complaints will occur. Thank you

Outback Steakhouse Food and service in outback new york restaurants

To Outback Management

Your New York restaurants have really been bad lately. Tonight at 23rd Street Outback in Manhattan, New York the service was slow while it was empty. We ordered our steaks but waited about an hour to get any food and our salads didn't come and we asked for them again. They still didn't come. Manager came over said orders were lost and dessert would be in him. Salads finally came as we were finishing our steaks. My wife ordered the small ribeye but was charged for the next size up. There's more but I want to move on.

Last fall in Woodbury, New York we went there. The Ahi Tuna salad was horrible shriveled up and less pieces than normal. The 3 steaks were no where near par.

On an earlier visit to your most consistent restaurant in Middletown, New York we had a 3 hour wait. Now I know Saturday nights are busy, but when you see others who were seated after you getting served you get concerned. We got the manager over and it appeared to be a lost order again. Still saw two tables get served before us while our kids fell asleep at the table.

Back to an earlier visit to 23rd Street in Manhattan, New York City. That time all 3 steaks were so over-seasoned that it drowned out any steak taste. There are other incidents. But after hundreds of dollars being wasted I just don't know how we can continue dining in your establishment.

Thanks for reviewing in advance.

Outback Steakhouse Price of an extra

I just had lunch, at the outback possum park, Newark de. I ordered, the burger combo. I had ordered, a burger, with extra fried onions. Needless to say, the burger was very good. When getting the receilpt, I was charged, almost $3, for approximately 3 onios, thus pushing the price to $14 for a luncheon burger. My gripe, is that of, the additional $3 charge for 3 pieces of onions. In this competitive restaurant market, I can find a $5 burger, pretty much, in the account area. I know it's only $3, it's just the principal. When addressed to the waitress, her abrupt response, was that's what we charge. Not a very good experiens, and I am a valued outback customer.

Outback Steakhouse Service

After I was seated the waiter asked what I would like. I gave him my drink request and my food order. He brought my drink quickly and them my salad. I waited 30 minutes for my steak, at one point the waiter said it would be out shortly. After waiting another 10 minutes I asked to see the manager. She came out and wanted to know what the problem was, I told her waiting 45 minutes for my steak was ridiculous. She said they were busy in back and that I had no idea. There were numerous empty tables around and when I first walked in I was told to sit anywhere. I asked her if she would wait for 45 minutes for her food when she went to a restaurant? Her reply was that she never eats out, she cooks at home. I told her that was an unacceptable answer. During our talk my steak arrived, she asked if it was what I ordered? I told her yes and that I hoped it was cooked correctly and tasted good. She said she hope so too.
She was rude from the start, argumentative and unprofessional. When I asked for my bill, she did comp the steak. The meal was good as was the drink.
I would not recommend this steakhouse to anyone in Mt. Pleasant, SC.

Outback Steakhouse Service

Me and my family went to the outback location in Lakeland fl for dinner Saturday night 4/20/19. Everything was going good until the order came, everyone's order was fine expect my 13 oz ribeye I ordered, it was under cooked, I gave them a chance to fix it, it came back burned edges, and still under cooked. They offered to make another one, I agreed. The second steak came perfectly cooked after 30 mins. I asked for my check and requested the steak to be taking off. I paid my bill as I was walking outside the door the kitchen manager shouted a rude jester at me. My wife heard it, I went back in to ask who said it, Jim the kitchen manager couldn't even accept he was the one who shouted it. So we argued for a few minutes he called the cops. I left before they arrived. I would like to speak to someone on this matter, he was very unprofessional, and has no business in a management position.

You deserved that rude gesture. You ate the steak. They fixed the problem so you had no right asking for it to be taken off the bill. If you cannot afford steak do not order it. Like the coward you are you left before the police could arrive. This means you know that you were wrong. He was not professional. You were the one acting unprofessional because you are too cheap to pay for your steak.

You do not understand I had to leave. My wife was trying to get me to leave. But I told her to shut up. But she kept telling me to just let it go and leave. I was not done arguing with him. At this point i was so angry that I slapped my wife across the face and started calling her names. Then he called the cops and I was forced to leave because the would have me arrested for slapping my wife across the face. He made me so angry that I slapped my wife across the face and told her to stop acting like a baby when she cried.
