OptumRx is a lousy company. I had been ordered my prescription medications via OptumRx for years and had just found out my prescription drug member ID was totally different than the one I had. The mail order (800)562-6223 at OptumRx which provided the different member ID and claimed that I should call my insurance company to find out why. The wrong member ID is the different member per my Health Insurance Company. OptumRx finally corrected my prescription drug member Id after my Health Insurance personnel talked to her.

Recommendation: Please verify your member Id with OptumRx when you order your prescription drug online.
