I had the most difficult time returning a pair of shoes. I had to come back three times! The first time, I had an associate ask me to swipe all my credit cards & the system could not locate my order. I left & was on a mission to find my receipt. I checked all my credit card transactions & knew exactly which card I used to purchase the shoes. The manager can up to tell me they can give me store credit! That pissed me off because I explained to him that I would bought these same shoes online, but in a different size & want my refund. I left the store very angry! I came home & finally found my receipt & went to return it. I didn't give the receipt to the associate because I wanted to test the system. I told her the exact day I purchased it & the card I used. She was not able to process the return so I gave her the receipt. THE SYSTEM IS FLAWED & it is very inconvenient for me to have to find my receipt & go through this much hassle to return an item! I will not be shopping here any longer. Lost customer forever!
failure to inform
I applied through Indeed.com for a temp inventory job at Nordstrom Rack, Rosemont, IL 1/17/17. Although they asked for a phone interview (and I gave them the time slot to call), I still had to call THEM. They sent the info without telling me of all the forms to fill out (AND personal IDs to scan and send online) until two days AFTER the job, when I asked how I would be paid.
On top of the fact that my information had to be in there in their hands tomorrow (1/20) at the latest. It's not worth the aggravation, and I consider myself ripped off. -ML
Update to my post: A rep from SNI called to apologize and to make things right - I completed the downloaded forms and went to their downtown office to complete the process. Direct deposit assured within a week. My thanks.
manager service very disrespectful and rude
On 1/6/17 my son attempted to return shoes I purchased for him, which was a christmas present, because of the color dislike. The manager at the mission valley rack in San Diego, Ca. (African American female) stated no refunds without receipt. As my son explained I threw away the receipt however, the rack tags, bar codes and box clearly shows it purchased from this store. The girl refused to discuss any issues without the receipt. She than said this is not a Nordstrom store, it is a Rack our policies are different. My son than called me and handed the manager the phone, as I attempted to discuss the situation she interrupted me stating, this is not a Nordstrom store, it is a Rack our policies are different. As I continued to try and discuss my concern she stated at least six time over my talking this is my stores policy. Very mad and frustrated I went to another Rack which they helped me as if I was a person. The manager at the mission valley store should have classes on how to treat customers, stop pretending like she has any power over people, or be terminated for her actions.

I ordered the boots on 12/9/16 (order #3679842). My order arrived on 12/21/16 only it was the wrong boot, wrong color, wrong size and wrong name brand. What am I supposed to give my daughter for Christmas? I called and after 45 minutes got a refund. I asked to speak to manager and never got to talk to one. I asked for a manager to call me back. No one did. Can I order these boots for delivery in January? Can I order a similar boot for delivery in January. I was told I can go to the Nordstrom Rack in Durham (75 minutes away) but the representative couldn't tell me if the store had any boots in stock. The store didn't have the boots. I always believed Nordstrom had an excellent customer service reputation. This is anything but that. Today's experience was awful.

On 11/11/2016 i purchased four ivory smooth pillars flameless candles plus remotes (The amazing flameless candle) from nordstoms rack haute look and on 11/11/2016 nordstoms rack haute look charged my credit card $60.00 for the four items. On 11/29/2016, i received one of the ivory smooth pillars flameless candle plus remote. Between the dates of 11/30/2016 and 12/7/2016 i contacted nordstoms rack haute look customer service several times to request a refund (Incident: [protected]). I provided nordstoms rack haute look customer service with all information including photos of the shipping label, the item & the box, which is too small to fit all four items.

I have ordered an item from www.nordstromrack.com and after I placed my order my item was priced down and its total cost was $200 less than I paid!
I immediately contacted customer service and asked them to refund me the price difference and they refused and said that when I made an order there was no sale!
Then I asked them to cancel my order and they said that it was not possible since the item was on final sale! But I bought it when it wasn't on sale!
These guys are absolutely ridiculous! Worst shopping experience ever!

I have ordered some items from Nordstrom Rack and weeks later I decided to contact their customer service and ask what was going on with my order. The rep I spoke to assured me that my order was already shipped and was on its way. I believed him and decided to wait a little bit longer. Another two weeks passed and I was already sick and tired of all of this so I called and demanded my money back. They said that it was not possible since my order was shipped. They said that as soon as I get it I can send it back and only then they'll give me a refund. The worst part is that I never received anything! It seems to me that they lied from the very beginning and that the whole thing was just a scam!

If you are lucky person then you can take a risk and order something from Nordstrom Rack. They have really nice products and it's really a great deal when you actually get what you paid for. But if you don't get anything then beware! Customer service is terrible, they never help and never listen. When you ask for a refund they become very rude and unethical. This site is like 50/50, all depends on your luck. Ordered from them several times and was very satisfied with what I received, great quality, nice products. But last time I contacted them and asked where my order was and received no information, they were not happy and didn't want to waste their time on me.
Your store is supposed to open at 10:00am. They have not opened the doors. Messed up my schedule since I now have to come back later. I am assuming time chnage messes up your workers hours. Terrible.
The store number "231" is not recognized. I wanted to praise Shelia R. for her assistance in opening a Nordstrom Visa card but was unable to complete the form on the site despite repeated attempts. I was shopping at a popular time of day and she patiently took the time to complete the transaction.
The online customer service and store would not accept a return because it was no longer in stock in their system. What a scam! It was within the days allotted to return. They would not honour this in store or online! Beware. Horrible customer service ! Expect more from a big chain.

I purchased nice dress heels not too long ago at Nordstrom Rack. With about a month of normal wear the shoes heel broke off and now makes a clicking noise every time I step and is unprofessional.

I work as a programmer from home and rarely go out, and even less to department stores. When I do go I like to purchase as much as I can that way I won't have to go back anytime soon.
From the moment I walked in the store at Washington Square I was shadowed step for step by this employee( blonde, single ponytail, homely looking gal)who never at any point I was in the store could ask me if I needed any help. There was multiple others, but from my experience they only hire loss prevention clerks disguised as sales associates. The problem is they don't keep a great disguise because none of the 5 employees could be bothered with asking me if I needed ant help. That would surely of taken the focus off of making sure I didn't steal. Great way to forever lose my business and at minimum 5 pairs of men's and women's boots and shoes. THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. they provided damaged item
4 weeks ago I placed large order on the website www.nordstromrack.com. I paid money and the seller informed me that my order would arrive within 28 days. I waited and got the package, but it arrived in damaged condition and was torn. Also it turned out that they fooled me and overcharged as well. I sent multiple emails to the seller and asked to provide money back, but the seller refused and told me a lot of unpleasant and inappropriate. I wonder if there are people, who have the same problems and what have you done in such situation, please post comments.
Went to Nordstrom Rack in Brentwood Tn on vacay and picked up a 3 pack of woman's underwear, One pair is falling apart. They were 14.99 for the 3 pack I thought you had better quality than this

I did not realize Nordstrom was making political decisions based on a recent boycott by liberals of a line of clothing you carried, you bow down to for economic purposes. I never believed Liberals were as tolerant as they claimed anyway. I'll shop elsewhere now.
I was told i could not go into my husbands dressing room because a mother with her child were offended. Yet it was okay with the employee that she use the handicap dressing room ( guess her thoughts and opinions are relevant) Note that these where both men and women's rooms all together. When did one persons opinion dictate what is right or wrong.
I would like to make a complaint against the cashier Matthew b. He charge me for 3 items instand of 2 and returned the wrong item as well. You have to watch them very closely. I tried to return and the cashier had to return the transaction all over again. The cashier need to be watching what they do you shouldn't have to watch them.
Please just let me know how to track my purchases and how to make my purchases tax except . My account does not come up when I log in. I would like to track my packages I sent to my son.
