Nissan Service Department

I visited Middletown Nissan November 2, 2021, driving a Nissan Rogue Sports (lease) about a tire light that continue to come on although I called AAA to put air into the car.

The lady at Nissan took my information, I waited, than was told that vehicle was ready and a nail was in the car tire, she gave me the car knowing repairs was not done to the car. (Something serious could happen while driving.) That is not good enough on Nissan's part.

On November 9, 2021, my tire light came on again, I visited Middletown Nissan my bill was $700, 00 along with other maintenance, I stayed there
5 hours for repairs.

Nissan Murano

They have an unbelievably expensive front sensor that is protected by only a CHEAP and FLIMSY piece of plastic. So by barely scraping it on curb when parking, it knocked it out.

When trying to get it fixed, they say it's well over a thousand dollars, but they won't order unless we prepay the whole thing. And, there no guarantee it will be in any sooner than possibly 3-6 months or even longer.

This is a horrible product and terrible service. Telling everyone to never buy a Nissan.

Desired outcome: Should be replace for free since it is so I’ll equipped to be protected.

Nissan Car sales

Clay Cooley dealership advertised Nissan truck with 7600 in savings. The first draft had the savings removed. After showing them their own add with discounts, they agreed to the sale price. Also advertised family protection package complimentary in the add. The final draft of sales contract had the package listed as a 2000 charge. We said we did not want it, and the manager said it is a required purchase on every new vehicle they sale.. They refused to sell truck for the advertisement. I have screenshots of add and contract

Desired outcome: To sell truck as advertised

Nissan Altima Transmission noise

Hi!
We have Nissan Altima 2007, VIN 1N4AL21E97N443767, purchased and serviced at the Nissan dealers. At the time when the mileage was 47429 miles, I start to hear a little rattling noise at a low speed and immediately took my car to NISSAN OF MISSION HILLS with my concerns.
Service Adviser at NISSAN OF MISSION HILLS "could not hear the noise" but did offer "Complimentary first oil change". The "CAUSE" documented at that time was: "Performed first free lube oil and filter change" - which was actually NOT TRUE!
I always did oil and filter changes in time and have all the supporting documents.
My concern about the rattling noise from transmission was not documented and completely ignored. At that time, in 2016, my Altima transmission was covered by warranty.

In July 2019, I took my Altima to NISSAN of MISSION HILLS again with the same concern - the rattling noise from transmission was still there. At this time the Service Adviser offers to perform a service including Transmission fluid drain and refill.
And again as at the prior service - the CAUSE line did not have a word about transmission noise.

Now, in 2021, the mileage on this the car is only 56300, car is running but the rattling noise from transmission is much louder.
In November 2021, I contacted Nissan CVT Customer Satisfaction Program with the complaint. They open a case # [protected] and suggested me to take my Altima for diagnostics to any Nissan dealer.
I took my Altima to NISSAN of MISSION HILLS again and the diagnostic did found and confirmed WHINING / RATTLE type noise internally in CVT assembly. I'm a loyal Nissan customer and our Altima was serviced at the Nissan dealers only.
I'm a loyal Nissan customer and our Altima was serviced at the Nissan dealers only but now
I feel that this car is not safe for my wife to drive.

Can you help me to reinstate the Nissan CVT Factory Extended warranty so I could repair / replace the transmission or get a reimbursement for the repair of the CVT Transmission?

Thanks,
-Yuri Giller

Nissan Juke 2013 CVT transmission problem

Dear Nissan,

I have a Nissan Juke 2013, with 60, 000km milage. VPN: SJNFBAF15Z6273630, Chassis #: HR16119908R .

Recently I faced a problem with the CVT transmission is not functioning properly.

After doing the international review, I found that is a common problem with the Nissan CVT transmission and many agencies are giving 10 years warranty to this kind of transmission.

How can resolve this malfunction and what is the support that Nissan can provide as a loyal customer. The full service history is in your agent.

Please reply to me the earliest.

Nissan 2013 nissan rogue door handle breaks off.

We have a 2013 Nissan Rogue. the drivers side door handle broke off 2x once in March 2021 and November of 2021. This last time left us stranded while traveling since the door will not work properly. We have to wait while a part is ordered. It is unacceptable and dangerous to have a door handle break off of a vehicle, they are made of plastic and it is apparent this is a manufacturing issue.. I called Nissan and they are un moved to help. It costs over $300.00 for parts an labor. We will never buy another Nissan again. I am willing to repair things due to normal wear and tear but a door handle? No !Junk is what they are selling to us.

Desired outcome: fix the problem and admit it is defective!

Nissan Dealership false advertising

Sutherline Nissan, Buford, GA advertised a Titan Platinum Reserve on AutoTrader's website for $52, 928.
Problem: Succinctly, Sutherlin has an ad on the Autotrader website for a Titan Platinum Reserve for sale at $52, 982 and the Sales Mgr refused to sell to me at the advertised price.

Damages to me: One day of leave from work ($368), pet sitting costs ($78), hotel cost ($186.26), two tanks of gas (Lynn Haven, FL to Buford, GA and back $147.29) and not the least issue - aggravation of the waste of the entire two days, expenses and this complaint process. Total costs: $779.55.

Background: Short version - I found the ad and called to discuss it. Manny Smith was the representative I spoke to. I spoke with Manny on several occasions to confirm the price, appointment time and what I needed to do to secure the transaction. Manny said I needed to complete a credit application and sent one to me. I completed the application the same day and submitted it. An aside note: I was informed that the credit application was never reviewed. I inquired about a down payment for good faith or to hold the vehicle, Manny said no need. On 29 Oct 21, I set out on the trip to the dealership and a representative called me the same morning to confirm my arrival. Upon my arrival, the sales process started with Diego Atehortua. When he presented the figures, I told him the price is not what was in the ad. He searched for and found the ad and indicated that it should be honored BUT, of course, he would have to get approval. Long & short of it, the Sales Mgr, AJ Khanfer, said he would not honor the price. I informed Mr. Khanfer of my intent to make a complaint and consult with legal representation. There was a lot of discussion that resulted in me having to make unreasonable concessions and forced me leave without the vehicle. I could not in good conscious reward bad business practices by buying the vehicle as offered by the Sales Mgr.

Desired outcome: The dealership should honor the price advertised and sell me a Titan Platinum Reserve and/or reimbursement of expenses, particularly if I have to travel again to get the truck.

Nissan Nissan Sentra CVT transmission

I bought the Sentra SR brand new off the lot with 18 miles on it back in May 2013, the really sporty Metallic Blue with the sunroof and goodies. I finally have paid it off May 2021, four months later the transmission starts slipping a little to making squeaking noises when I drive from a stopped position. I took it in to get checked and the mechanics found burnt fluid and metal shavings in the transmission fluid pan. It took the mechanics a few days before it actually gave them a code on what was wrong with it. So now I am sitting here with a pricey transmission change and my Sentra has just over 54, 000 miles on it. They say the warranty isn't valid now because of the age, but mileage wise, it's still pretty much a new car. I still think it should be covered under warranty because of the miles not the year of the car. Everything had been serviced properly it's just a manufactures defective transmission.

Nissan Sentra 2020 SV

When I changed the oil on my granddaughter's 2020 Sentra SV, I had to remove 6 bolts and 26 push pins to be able to lower the splash shield that covers the oil filter and oil pan. It was VERY time consuming and tedious to put the bolts and push pins back in place. I called the local Nissan dealer and the Nissan customer hotline and was told that it would VOID the warranty if I cut holes in the plastic shield to make future oil changes easier. Why would it void the warranty when all Sentra's up until 2019 have either exposed oil filters and pans or easily removable cover plates? I even offered to cover the holes with plastic plates (thereby making "access doors") but, again, they said it would void the warranty. Oil changes are basic maintenance and should be simple and straightforward. Yet Nissan is using their warranty to prevent me from making an oil change a simple job.

Desired outcome: Don't void the warranty if I make the described changes

Nissan Still sucks with various faults in their manufacturing, assembly, and parts line.

I would not recomend nissan to anyone... Noooo... Don't buy a headache.
4 years back I bought a new crap nissan cash.

They had to recall and attend to faults for 3 weeks, a brand new vehicle.

Before my first service I had key problems... I'm currently on my 5th key...
Oh no says nissan, it's wear and tear. It's quite evident that the ignition is faulty, damaging keys. (no says nissan... Wear and tear, a key per year.)

They replace a window winder under wear and tear under warranty... But not my key or ignition. (I use both parts an equal amount of time... Pathetic...)

I am well known at my dealership as i'm there so often having something repaired under warranty... Today I had to have my vehicle there for a leaking cab and rust on vehicle...4 years old rusting all over...

Nissan you are pathetic and weak kneed as you cannot even attend to my ignition.

Nissan nightmare...

Nissan sucks... Don't buy a nissan all of my friends and foe out there.

Desired outcome: Repair my ignition... Simple.

Nissan Tunnel Cover- Flew Off my 2018 Frontier

June 2021, I was leaving my house driving on a 5o KM hr road just before getting on the 401 when the cover flew off the back of my truck, it was completely fastened down and tailgate locked. I have submitted a warranty claim which is now been denied by Nissan Canada warranty department - stating 2 different reasons and both staying they want pay for the repair. If this happened 10 minutes later it would have been at 110 to 120 KM hr on the 401 in Kingston 3 lanes of traffic and likely went through some ones windshield resulting in a major accident and killing some one, would have been a major law suite.

I will never by another Nissan Product if not replaced.

Desired outcome: Supply a a replacement cover and install

Nissan 2014 SENRA

A month customer service called me and gave me a case number to have my 2014 sentra looked at. The car has a noisy transmission.
They told me i would have to pay for the diagnosis on the trans and i agreed. I drove the vehicle to nissan in victorville, calif.
The dealer took the car and plug the diagnostic equipment in and it blew up the trans. Cpu unit.

The car was down for a week and the repair cost $ 900. The original problem i took the car in for was never repaired and still makes noise.

The transmission was replaced a little over a year ago. I have been back at least 2 times while under warranty and they have not found the problem yet. I need help! steven slavik [protected]

Desired outcome: NO NOISE IN TRANSMISSION

Nissan Repairs not done

I took my vehicle in for service on august 20th 2021 I spoke to a gentleman by the name of Matt and my technician was Mike.
Also prior to bringing it in hooked my own computer up to vehicle to get some codes so I could discuss my concerns. On Aug 23rd I was told what work needed to be done I agreed I was told transmission showed signs of wear but did not agree to that repair. I spoke with Matt he said after repairs I would have no problem passing inspection. I was told car was done that week and all repairs were done I paid 1750.00 and attempted to drive car. Started it up an immediately it felt like it was going to shut off. Spoke to Matt he had mike the technician come to take a look. Mart said they needed to keep it wasn't sure what was causing issue. Matt text me Friday 27th said it would be additional 580.00 the found another problem. Paid that amount went to pick up car couples days later the same exact problem occurred. mike the technician came out and took car in shop said he adjusted something and it was fixed. Drove vehicle to DMV because it was due for inspection. After driving for about 3 miles I noticed vehicle started to drive ruff and was idling like it was going to shut off. After failing inspection check engine light came on with codes of p0025 p0300 and p0304 the same code that appeared initially when I took car to Sheridan Nissan in Newcastle Delaware on Aug 23rd. I do not believe they attempted to fix problem and charged me for repairs that They didn't actually do or I didn't actually need. After failed inspection and Vehicle still not repaired I am requesting a total refund for my time and suffering. To conclude, this was a horrible experience to say the least and now I still have to fix a car that my daughter and Grandson desperately need.
W. Chris Davis

Desired outcome: Total refund

Nissan Sold us a used car which has transmission replacement

John Robertson Nissan, Manchester, TN: Sold us a used car Nissan Sentra 2013 which has transmission issue and was in car fax report taken at same location in Jan 2019, car was sold to us in dec 2019 without providing information about latest car fax report done by themselves .

Due to pandemic car was used only locally and went on interstates hardly, after few months car was stopped in the middle of road three times and went for Nissan of murfreesboro to know what happened. Then they gave us a proof that it already has transmission issue and was in car fax report taken in Jan 2019 with the same dealer you bought the car.

When contacted the John Robertson they said it was from Sara department we will not have that information which we did not expect.

Luckily no one was hurt when the car was stopped in middle of no where on the road.

We need justice on this whether the car needs to be taken back with the total amount we paid or should replace with the new transmission, as it was their fault .

If needed we can provide the proof that Nissan of murfreesboro gave us the report of transmission issue

Desired outcome: We need justice on this whether the car needs to be taken back with the total amount we paid or should replace with the new transmission, as it was their fault

Nissan Nissan sucks, avoid a headache...

Beware of Nissan.

Do not buy a Nissan if you don't want a pain in the exhaust.

Purchased new crap Nissan cash 2017

2017 due to Manufacture Faults recalled my vehicle to workshop for 3 weeks...!
Before First service, Ignition key was faulty, reported to HQ JHB... Reply "sorry, wear and tear" (from a call center employee)

Vehicle is still under Warranty.

6 months later spare key is faulty..."sorry wear and tear"
Rust on vehicle... Back to service center.
Window winders faulty... Back to service center.
Water leak in vehicle... Back to service center.

Tomorrow I must report rust on door hinges, ongoing water leak in vehicle and faulty windshield fitting causing whistling of air in vehicle... And a strange engine noise.

Vehicle is still under warranty.

Well done, Nissan, you sold me crap.
How do we small fry get to fight these massive companies who treat us like [censored].

NOW, I hope one of you big fat cat directors up there in Nissan can answer one Question.

HOW can you replace a faulty Window winder, which costs more than an ignition key.
Your company refuses to repair my ignition or replace an ignition Key?!?!
Every time I enter my vehicle I turn the ignition, every time I enter my vehicle I wind my window.
However you replace my faulty window winder.
But you don't replace my faulty key or ignition
How do you justify that... your pathetic company who claim you have pride in Customer service.

Nissan 2017 nissan rogue roof leaking

Since 2019, my car has been flooding due to the sunroof drains being clogged. After replacement and multiple service calls, the issue remains there a year later and every time it rains, I get wet driving my 2017 Nissan Rogue. The moment the extended warranty expires this major, stinky issue arose. It flooded the carpets, rusted the seat undercarriage on both driver and passenger sides. Nissan is not equipped to repair this ongoing issue. I will never purchase another vehicle with a sunroof in FL.

Desired outcome: Current $428 Repair costs covered

Nissan Paid for service not received

We regret dealing with and purchasing from this particular dealership at Country Hills Nissan in Calgary. Our sales guy (AM) was fantastic. Knowledgeable, genuine, got us a deal. 5 stars for him. We do also like the Nissan brand. But the second you hand over the money, customer service stops abruptly and completely. Total breakdown. Something is always wrong or forgotten, every single time. Received a vehicle with no spare tire, broken windshield and peeled off window tint (and some other minor stuff). Now you may think ok, nbd, they'll fix it. That's what we thought when we accepted the vehicle with deficiencies. And we thought that because that's what they said they would do. But they won't. We have been trying since May 10th...yes, over 3 months. 3 months of ignored phone calls, not returning messages, having to go in numerous times to see them in person and we are no closer to having any of our concerns addressed.
I'd advise caution against Mark Aburto, the finance manager. He is dishonest, disorganized and has given us false assurities many times. Him we regret dealing with the most.
I'd avoid dealing with Austin Romeril, one of the managers. Same thing. Speaking with him can best be described as a complete waste of time.
We have decided that we will no longer chase after them. Can't keep wasting time calling and driving over constantly. We've lodged a complaint with Nissan Canada and BBB so hopefully something comes of that. We will fix the deficiencies elsewhere and pay for it, even though it was threatened that doing that will void our warranty. They love to hold you hostage.
Long read, but hopefully it will save somebody from making the same mistakes we did.
*If you refer to them, they don't actually pay a referral fee as advertised. That is a false advertisement.

Desired outcome: All problems fixed. Referral fee paid.

Nissan Financing

We traded in our Nissan, the payoff check was sent out for the payoff amount and cashed but Nissan refuses to close the account and keeps harassing my wife to make another payment. Speaking with them did not help. I was hung up on 2 times when asking to speak with a supervisor.
The supervisor Neil(not his real name), refused to give me his full name, was not helpful. He spoke with the dealership and told them to have us contact them. The payoff check that the dealership sent via UPS was accepted Tuesday August 10th and deposited. Neil refused to tell me that the check had been cashed and told me to call back later. Also refused to close the account.
We will never finance a car through Nissan again.

Desired outcome: Close our account

Nissan Part availability

I had to wait over 2 weeks for a transmission for my 2014 Nissan Maxima. There were none available and no date listed other than being on back order.
I had to pay for a rental vehicle out of pocket due to Nissan not having a part available for a vehicle they Manufct and produce.
This is unacceptable and Nissan should reimburse me for the full cost of the rental vehicle as it is SOLEY their fault that I had to have a rental vehicle for the length of time that I had to wait for a transmission to be provided.

Desired outcome: Rental expense

Nissan Case # [protected]

On May 17, 2021, while being in the shop of Cocoa Nissan, the air bags defect B1022 appeared at my Nissan Altima. The Nissan service released the car with that defect without assuming any responsibility. I filed a complaint to Nissan Consumer Affairs, on May 25, 2021. On July 8, 2021, Nissan consumer sent me their resolution:
"Nissan carefully considered your request and reviewed all available facts pertaining to your specific situation. After this thorough review, Nissan determined that we are unable to offer financial assistance with the repair of the air bag due to the vehicle being outside of your manufacture warranty."
I am very disappointed of the resolution to my case of Nissan Corporation of America North, Inc.

Desired outcome: I expect Cocoa Nisan to fix my car at its expense
