I own a rental unit at the above address and the tenant took the bill out of her name and it was automatically placed in my name as being the owner. Well I now have a gas bill for over $1000.00 and I had no knowledge the bill had been switched to my name. What can I do to get this paid off and how can I prevent it from happening again as I own several rental units. My name is Mason Newell and my telephone number is [protected]. Any help you can give me in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

    I'm disabled with a military service dog named Ceasar. We were sitting on our bench on my porch having coffee early today when a meter reader walked from next door between my cars and garage door up towards my porch. The meter isn't anywhere near that area. My dog was wearing his military service vest, on a 5 ' lead. I'm I total control of his movements when he heard this Nicor employee entering a very private area and saw my dog, me, and pulled a can of Halt pepper spray and let us both have the full can. I was yelling to stop, my service dog dropped to the ground. Our eyes, skin, nostiles, mouths burned very badly. My dog was foaming, struggling to breath as I. The Nicor employee did not announce his presents and ran off before I could talk with him. I got emergency treatment for Ceasar and myself. I injured left and found his truck and waited for the Nicor meter reader to return. He came back, I asked him what he spayed as I had to know for my health issues and now my injured service animal. He would not say. I saw the name on a NEW can attached to his vest. Halt pepper spray. I asked his name and Nicor contact. He would not say. He yelled at me my dog attracted him. He travels on airlines, hotels, Hospitals, stores, restraurants, I've never had him do anything but smile and lick hello.
    I saw the employees name badge and wrote down his name...
    I contacted Nicor...good luck talking to customer service. When I reach someone, they passed me off. I finally spoke to a supervisor and was told by Scott at Nicor, I would hear from the Meter Reader Supervisor. Not!!!???
    They were extremely rude, rude, rude like all Who I spoke to at Nicor Gas
    I'm calling corporate or an attorney if they do not talk to me regarding vet and medical bills.

    I have photos taken to confirm this crazy meter readers actions.
    I'll forward them to Nicor Gas or any good law office interested in protecting good innocent customers who had hired and not trained employees.
