I rented a car from the Philadelphia airport on June 1st and returned on June 2nd. The car started shaking whenever I went over 55 miles per hour, then the check engine light started blinking and never went off. I was an hour away from the airport at this time. I parked the car until the next morning when it was time to return the car. When i returned the car, I informed the agent of my concerns, it was running late for my flight, i was given the manger card and told to contact him (Corey Colclough). I returned the car on 6/2, as of today, I have left 6 messages for the manager via customer service (as no one ever answers the phone at the airport). I have not received a return call as on now. I typically get great service from National, moving forward, I will not rent with National in Philadelphia.
Recommendation: Don’t expect any responses from National if you don’t resolve on sight.
