I purchased a vacation package from Monster Reservations Group in August 2022 based on promises of no extra fees, the ability to choose my hotel, and that airfare would be my only added cost. These statements were false.
When I tried to book, the company changed the promised hotel and repeatedly claimed that the hotels I selected were “full,” pushing me toward options I never agreed to. This is clear misrepresentation.
I canceled the package in September 2022 and have a voice recording of the call where the cancellation was acknowledged and further commitments were made — none of which were honored.
Despite multiple refund requests (2022, 2024, 2025), the company has refused to return my money for over three years. Their “non-refundable” claim is invalid due to misrepresentation and failure to deliver the service as promised.
I have already filed complaints with the BBB and FTC and am preparing further regulatory actions.
I am requesting a full refund for a package that was never delivered as represented. Based on my experience, their sales practices and customer service have been unreliable and misleading.
Claimed loss: $2163
Desired outcome: refund
