Meineke Car Care Center review: Delay in repair

To Whom It May Concern,

I am writing to formally express my frustration and dissatisfaction with the ongoing delay and lack of accountability regarding the repair of my vehicle at your shop located at Meineke, 10035 Memorial Pkwy SW, Huntsville, AL.

My vehicle — a 2013 Hyundai Sonata — has been in your possession since June 18, 2025, and as of today, it remains unrepaired and sitting on the lift. I was informed that the delay is due to a mechanical failure with the lift used to service the car, and that your team is still waiting on a part to fix it. While I understand that equipment failures can occur, this is not my fault — yet I have been left without a functioning vehicle for over two weeks, with no clear timeline for resolution.

To add to the frustration, nothing has been done to properly compensate me for this delay. I had to follow up multiple times and eventually reach out to the district manager myself, who offered me nothing more than a brake flush and an oil change. Frankly, I find that offer insulting given the time, inconvenience, and disruption this situation has caused me. No rental car was provided, no meaningful support has been offered, and the communication from your team has been severely lacking.

At this point, I am requesting the following:

A firm and realistic update on when my vehicle will be repaired and ready

A detailed explanation of the cause of the delay and why I was not kept informed

A substantial and appropriate compensation offer that reflects the extent of the inconvenience I have endured

If this matter is not addressed promptly and professionally, I will escalate my concerns to your corporate office, the Better Business Bureau, the Alabama Attorney General’s Consumer Affairs Division, and any other appropriate consumer protection agencies.

I expect to hear from someone as soon as possible with a resolution.
